Omg this book was off the damn hook. I was so caught up in the book this morning I just damn near finished the book by this afternoon. Where can I start that damn King was even more devious in this book than the first part. Jasmine was a damn crazy fruit cake. The way they did two of my favorite characters was really bad they did them dirty as hell. Now Monica that's my girl right there she was loyal to the fullest. He heart was never ever have you feeling like she would do you dirty. She was true blue from start to finish. I hope there will be a part 3 because no way this series is over like this. Blacc Topp you are a very gifted author. Once again I'm a fan for life. Let's get it Blacc Topp.
I was eager to read this book being that I'd enjoyed its prequel. This second installment threw me for a loop and at times I cringed. Expect the unexpected when you crack open this one. It's a sinister, clever and quite diabolical view on what happens when trust is betrayed and loyalties are divided. I loved how the author transition into the second book and left plenty of possibilities for a third installment. In fact, I'm ready to preorder....
The story and even it's main characters are indeed TAINTED, some beyond insanity...
I really liked the first book and I read it really fast. This one however was a struggle for me. The book did not flow with the first one. The game part of it for me got a little cheesy towards the end. Overall it was ok.
Okay, there were some real crazy plot twists in this one. One I believe is too far fetched to be realistically possible, but I guess it worked for the story line. Jazzy was QUITE annoying. Looking forward to the finale.
Enjoyed the mystery. The twists and the elaborate games. Jasmine I felt bad for what she been through. Damn she got on my nerves a lot. Monica is my girl. I'm enjoying this series
Welllllll! I finished reading Tainted Too by Novelist Blacc Topp, 2:00 am this morning and let me just say first and foremost, I appreciate him bringing awareness to the plight and statistics of those suffering from mental illness. Many live in shame and many are misunderstood! The awareness continues.
Many of us met the lovely Deitrich sisters, Monica and Jasmine in Tainted. Monica the DEA agent who who went undercover to take down the drug lord King and Jasmine the younger sister institutionalized after her drug addicted parents exchanged her to drug dealers to satisfy a drug debt at the tender age of seven. The sins of the parents left both sisters scarred and Tainted in their development and emotions! Now fast forward to Monica's transition to the FBI and Jasmine's release from the institution! Both sisters are in a place where they share everything and have learned to trust each other! Monica is a very successful FBI agent while Jasmine is a 20 year old college student with a 3.9 GPA and a very high IQ. Everything seems to be going smoothly until Jasmine meets a love interest and the secrets start! Blacc Topp took us through this young woman's decent into madness and darkness! Jasmine had never had a boyfriend before so she saw everyone as a threat to her relationship even her sister! The actions committed by Jasmine and the glee and satisfaction she received from it was the sickest most sadistic thing I have read in a very long time and I loved it! Jasmine did not just kill, she killed with a purpose with each murder becoming more gruesome, psychotic, demented and twisted! I would classify Jasmine Deitrich as criminally insane! The way the author wrote the storyline for Jasmine, was ingenius in that it had me cringing, feeling sorry for her, wanting to give her a hug and wanting to kill her within seconds of each other! You have to read this book to find out whether Monica will yield to the loyalty/love she has for her sister or will she honor the oath she took to the bureau and take her sister down when she realizes the heinous activities her sister has been involved in!
This is Blacc Topp's sixth novel and thus far his best yet! The interesting thing is that many of us say this after reading each release which shows that this author continues to improve and his develop craft! Several readers stated that this author was a genius after after reading Corporate Amerikkka, but I'm going to say that not only is he a genius, he is an intellectual genius and it shows through his work! Tainted Too has solidified Blacc Topp as a master story teller following his own blueprint, ensuring that he shares his creativity and visions with us in his work . (I have never read anything like this book in the urban genre). There are greater things to come from this author and I'm happy to be a part of it! Kudos for a GREAT piece of work!
