It is always inspiring to hear stories about people taking their lives into their own hands and become successful. This is one of those stories, a very practical rundown on how to start a web design consulting business based on the personal experiences of the author. He advices to start small and over time expand your offering from simple web site design to an overall management of the customer's web presence, with the goal of helping the customer increase their sales. This book gives many useful tips to get started.

A pretty good book that is designed, not to help you build websites, but to help you understand what you need to CREATE a business around designing websites. In the book, the author shares how he wound up in the web design field before explaining his approach to the web development business, including getting it going, finding your first clients, SEO, and maintaining the business. Fairly solid. Could have been a little more in depth, but overall, fairly helpful for those getting off the ground. Recommended for startups.
