I loved this it was beautiful and sad! It made me realize I should read more poetry.

My favorite poem was in chapter 'less space'

"grief hasn’t left me but it’s quieter now content to sit in the corner while i make dinner while i fold laundry while i live some days i forget it’s there and when i remember i’m almost grateful that it has learned how to take up less space "

An incredible, thoughtful and quick read.

This collection by Alex M. Is a walk through the aftermath of heartbreak; raw and unforgiving. Through every poem you go on a journey from loss to healing to finding yourself again.

I was blown away by the incredible talent of Alex M.! It’s not often a poetry collection will hit as deeply and read as beautifully as this did. I was incredibly moved by all of these poems, with some of my favourites being
- after the door
- less and less
- soft pink mornings
- my own galaxy
This poet has the power to pull you into such deep emotions, even if you’ve never experienced heartbreak this way before. The prose was lyrical and moving, painting a picture of the journey of love lost.

If you love other sapphic poetry like Amanda Lovelace or Mary Lambert, I highly encourage you to pick this collection up!
