I am a Reader in the Philosophy of Religion, teaching courses on Islam, Nietzsche, Greek philosophy, and philosophy of religion. I am particularly interested in the interaction between western philosophy and the religious claims made by Islam, which align with my view that philosophy and religion are intertwined.

This has to be the worst book I've read this year. There is no pretence of editing. It's hard enough to get past massive grammatical errors every other paragraph, but there is even more at play here.
The author did a quick pass over with the spell checker and called it a day. As a result, words are missing entirely from sentences, ridiculous combinations of words are injected in various places, and it becomes impossible to take this work seriously.
In this short biography you will learn that though Alexander the Great lived a short life he accomplished more in that short span than most political leaders who led longer lives than his.
Loved the concise format, I Learned quite a few facts that I did not already know and after all isn't that what the desired affect should be? Hence the 5 stars.
