As others have noted - with Christina Tetreault's books - there are significant editing issues; typos, timeline, continuity etc... contradictions ...
Nothing MAJOR - but things that would annoy me for a few paragraphs ...
(With better editing I think the books would be amazing...)
Grayson and Kiera ... just felt bleh to me.
Like ... plain yogurt.
Like, it's ... ok but not something that I felt excited or passionate about. More like - well they're supposed to happen so they do.
I also found a spoiler KIND OF on the "big surprise" so I was prepared because I knew I'd be super annoyed by it - so thank goodness I went in knowing otherwise I'd probably be [more] pissed.
And then the whole like "I love you" and ... it was sweet how he kept trying to spend time with her but like I said - it all fell flat for me.
I did like the conflict part and how Kiera reacted ... also how Gray's brother Trent "tricked" only not really Gray into disclosing her name...
The whole magazines and such thing ... meh.

I absolutely LOVE the Sherbrooke's of Newport Series. Christina Tetreault does an amazing job with each book, their plot, character and how each one stays focused on family, and how united their family is I love that. I also love how we get glimpses of characters from other books in each new book. Gray and Keira's story is no different in that the family is the main focal point in their lives, this family cares deeply and will do what is necessary to help each other out.
Gray almost doesn't make it to his older brother Trent and Addison's wedding, he had missed several family functions in the past few years because of work. Kiera has grown up with the Sherbrooke's and is attending Trent's wedding with her parents who have worked for them all her life. Gray and Keira haven't seen each other in years, they both had crushes on the other when younger but now those crushes became sparks almost as soon as they reunite. Gray and Keira innocent reunion soon becomes heated, and their innocent lunch isn't enough for either. As Keira and Gray's relationship blossoms, their sweet bubble is in danger of popping because of Grays secret. The obstacles, twist and turns all keep you hooked. This book is informative, realistic and unpredictable with a wonderful plot. It's an amazing book.

I think Ms Tetreault's books get better with each one in this series! Although predictable at times, I think it would be difficult as an author to not be predictable-- so I give her props for the wonderful stories she does tell!
I've fallen in love with all of the Sherbrooke family! The author makes them lovable and down to earth -- even with their billionaire ways! Oh to just hop a jet back and forth anytime you wished to go somewhere!
I love also how all/most of the previous characters make an appearance in almost every other book in the series! Bringing "uncle president" in on this one was a treat!
Moving on to book 7... just don't want this family to end!!

Es bueno pero pero es tan irreal que no se merece las 4 estrellas
Me parecio chevere la parte donde dos amigos de la infancia se reunen y por fin son capaces de ser algo mas que amigos, asi no tengan las misma condición social, Kiera me gusto, porque es independiente y fuerte, Grayson me parecio inteligente pero su trabajo no sé!!!!lo querian poner pues perfecto (y eso no me mata, no hay nadie perfecto)

Gray is a interesting man when he finally listens 2 his heart that his best friend is someone special and he wants 2 fully love and protect her. Even though work was ruining things the media put him as a bad boy play boy type and she had doubts and thought he was lie in even though he was lieing by omitance not by choice. He proved 2 her his true feelings more and more. They were both stubborn. Lol

Maybe 3.2 stars. Just an okay read, nothing special. I have read all but about three of this series, this being one of the ones I missed. Unfortunately, it’s been years since I read the others, so probably much of the story wasn’t as interesting as I have forgotten all the connections between characters.

Gray is such a terrific character. His live of family and determination to be everything is inspiring. It is unfortunate that he cannot live life completely out in the open. He has secrets. Big secrets. What happens when he falls in love?

This was an excellent read. Gray Sherbrooke is definitely a man of mystery. He and Kiera are great together. I would absolutely recommend this book.

Gray Sherbrooke was arriving back in Rhode Island for his brother's Trent's and Addision (Addy) wedding. Getting there just hours before and not much time to spare. He had wanted to get in several day prior but work kept him busy these days, in fact this past year. He hadn't met his cousin's son. and wanted to spend time with his dad and stepmother Abby. Also looking forward to Mathieu's cooking who was his personal chef and would prepare some of his favorite dishes.
Kiera is attending the wedding, she grew up with the Sherbrooke's as her mother Annette was the head gardener and her father was Mathieu the personal chef. Annette and Mathieu and Kiera were really considered part of the family in away since they have worked for them and she had grown up with the boys and Allison the sister. It's always fun coming to see everyone and at a wedding is always fun to visit to catch up with everyone's lives.
Gray and Keira immediately felt sparks never had had before as they hadn't see one another since they were all grown up. They dance the night away. He asked her to lunch which seemed harmless or was it!! Immediately they settled into a relationship but wanted to keep it under wraps as she knew her parents would had qualms since they worked for 'them'. But soon his brother Trent found out who agreed to keep their secret but how long before the rest who know, and then there was Grays's secret which could tear them apart all together.
The book is full of romance, suspense, humor, it was a real page turned. The secret was NOT what I thought it was going to be even better!! LOL I love each Sherbrooke book better than the other it seems. But in reality I love them all and just can't wait to read the next one, since Christina always gets us caught up with the family!

Gray is the billionaire in question but he has some secrets that he has kept from his family and friends. These secrets come back to bite him but maybe he can recover. Kiera is the daughter of the chef and gardener who grew up with Gray. She's had a crush on him for years and gets to act on that crush now. Characters are well developed and there are quite a few of them. Sex scenes could have been a little steamier but were handled nicely. Scenery description was OK. Build up between the 2 main characters flows and is believable. I thought there was going to be a bigger or more twists towards the end of the story but that did not happen. Still, the story is well told using dual POV and flows nicely.
This is part of a series on the Sherbrooke's family but can be read as a stand alone. This does have an HEA.

Gray and Keira have been childhood friends because even if Keira's parents worked for the Sherbrooke's his family did not treat their workers as workers but as a family friend therefore their kids ended up growing up together.
now it has been years since Gray saw Keira and at the same time Gray is keeping a big secret from his family, but when his secret came out , and was giving a choice on continue to live dangerously or loose Keira forever , love wins over an d this was the final decision that may change his life forever .
I'm just glad that love won over

All secrets are not good and can cost you everything with just a click of a camera. That is what Gray and Kiera experienced but in a way that hurt both parties. When it all was on the line Gray took the chance that had voices raising and mouths dropping.
This was a nice romantic read about two life long friends that took a chance. Fighting for a love that was tested. Christina delivered on billionaires being more than money. They are game changers and woman chasers. I can't wait to see what happens with me loving family in Newport

Not sure what happened here, but this book was apparently released without editing or proofreading. There are so many grammatical and spelling errors in the e-book I read that I couldn't deal with it. Please have this fixed and re-released, or perhaps provide refunds for anyone who purchased it. The storylines are becoming weaker and weaker and it's hard to find anything to like in any case, but the trimmings are just too bad for words.

First book by this author that I've read. I liked it for the most part except for the big showdown/obstacle. The way Kiera reacted seemed very insecure, juvenile, and lacks maturity. Perhaps it's because the romance was rather quick albeit they've known each other since they were kids....
The informant's social status is also confusing. Can allied informants work against their own country? Seems like a conflict of interest.

I really enjoyed this book that involved two people who had grown up side by side. They reconnected and fell in love, but had to get past some secrets.

This was another great read these men are nothing but intriguing and my my hot the way Gray was with Keira was loving and romantic although he shouldn't of lied to her I know why but all the same if you love someone you tell them everything there are exceptions.
I did love hearing all about the rest of the family and cannot wait to read more from them
