"As soon as he got on the bus, David knew the students at the back were talking about him!"
David didn't expect much from his first day at a new school—but it seems he had "enemies" even before he got off the bus.
With his family falling apart, moving to a new area brings challenges and opportunities, particularly great surf and a nearby forest seemingly made for mountain biking. With new friends, David confronts his own fears, as well as the tasks of forgiving and connecting.
Finding David is a story of relationships, family, friends and taking risks for them all.

"Seriously, the book's good."—Bree-Ann

Trying to find good books that teen boys will actually be interested in could usually be compared to fighting a losing battle. So I was pleasantly surprised when I read this book; the main story revolves around a teen guy and the challenges he is facing in life. It's a fairly easy read but while it's not action packed, there's plenty in it to keep teens interested. It's very realistic, highly relatable and should provoke some serious thinking by the end. Best of all, it's Australian!

I have read this book, but honestly I it wasn't memorable. Not bad but not great either.
