The Drifter: A Billionaire Military Romance

I swore I'd never fall for a Dane.

I'm the woman behind the desk at The Palmetto Rose. I've watched all of them fall, one by one—and I checked in most of the women who fell with them. I know how the story ends. I know what loving one of those men costs.

I wanted no part of it.

Then, he walked into my lobby with nothing but a canvas bag.

Clint Dane. A brother nobody ever mentioned. He didn't want a favor. He looked at me across that counter and asked the one thing no one ever

What would you be doing, if you weren't standing there?

He's a drifter. He's spent his whole life leaving.

I've spent mine afraid to go.

He doesn't charm. He doesn't chase. He just sees me—all the way down to the parts I've hidden behind a polite smile my whole life.

I swore I'd never fall for a Dane.

He didn't ask me to. He just waited until I did.

Book 20 delivers everything fans have been waiting for! Jack Flynn and Lainey Ray finally give Sasha the spotlight she deserves after she has been a constant support to everyone since book one.

When Cash tracks down Clint and brings him to Charleston, the dynamic between him and Sasha is immediate. Both characters are guarded with the world, yet they open up completely to each other. The plot heats up fast with the shocking reveal that Clint’s father is alive, plunging us right into the Project Trueblood mystery. Meanwhile, Dominic Craine’s relentless vendetta against the Dane family takes a heart-wrenching turn as he targets their vulnerable mother—though Max, the wonder dog, heroically saves the day once again!

With incredible character depth and high-stakes tension, The Drifter sets up an unforgettable foundation. I can't wait to see how the Texas Danes saga concludes!

Another good one!

Gotta say, after the next book, the 21st and (most likely final) book or this entertaining, almost poetically written yet intense and emotional series; I'm going to miss it all. I'll def be re reading everything from the beginning...again.
The character-development is stellar as always. It's a fast-moving, almost love at first sight kinda thing...loke many of the books in this series. The storyline is more about the two main characters usually. The angst coming from the usual suspects in this plot line, baddies who will, no doubt, get their due. The reckoning is coming...I just wanna see all our heros come out the other side.

The authors are amazing!

I have been reading for 70 years, and never have I read characters that are laid out as crisply as the characters in the Dane brothers series. The sentences are short and concise, but you absolutely grow to love each character as Flynn and Ray build them out, word by word. Never to be forgotten.

I truly love the Dane brothers and their women. I am 69 years old and want a Dane brother for myself. I hate to see this series end. Jack and Lainey have done well
