Done. Got this because I needed help! Book is helpful but is a bit dated at this point with references to old internet sites no longer in place. I think it also overstates mom’s role in the wedding as it basically suggests you are the wedding planner.
However, that said, this book was a great reminder of everything that goes into a wedding and WONDERFUL at reminding mom that your job is to support, no matter what! Except on thank you notes where you must bug the heck out of the bride and groom to do them early, often, and regularly!!
I think a good update could include hints about how to find used wedding decor - Facebook marketplace is a gold mine!
Good for picking and choosing info to get started as a beginner MOB. I will hang on to it as a reference. I will probably use the internet for help also.
This book has been so helpful in navigating the role of MOB. If you are wondering what you're suppose to do after your daughter becomes engaged, this will show you the ropes. It's written from a point of view that may be a little old school but it still gave me lots of information on what to expect and what I will need to do.
