Alessandra has some serious talent with her use of words. Each word is like foreplay to my body. The words are beautifully orchestrated keeping me thoroughly aroused and greedy for more.
The seduction and angst that this story gives you is intense. I keep waiting for something bad to happen in all this. It seems too good to be true. This story is full of mystery. This is how you keep a reader intrigued. Leaving small clues and very little information about Brett is appealing.

I love the uncertainty of not knowing which direction the story is headed. I also love the stranger aspect it gives the story another level of mystery.
I'm intrigued by the mystery behind Kitten. The clues are there in the story just waiting for me to unfold.
The definitions of tight above the chapters was interesting and clever. This word has great significance in the story.
Alessandra is very detailed in her words, painting the perfect picture for my mind to capture.
Brett is good with the distractions. Brett is very attentive and sexual with Riley. Riley is becoming quite insatiable with Brett.
Once I picked up on what was happening I could not put the book down. I was determined to find out what happened.

What a wonderful idea!! I enjoyed this set of excerpts so much. It’s filled with the steamiest scenes from both current and upcoming highly anticipated books.
If you’ve already read some of the books inside it can be used to re-read those favorite juicy bits. Take The Gentlemen Mentor by Kendall Ryan, for instance…sexy as hell book and I could read that first sexual encounter between Cameron and Brie a thousand times and not get tired of it.
Have you met Kick from Nina Levine’s Relent? Read this excerpt and you’ll be one-clicking that bitch right away, I promise. Kick is sexy as hell and he and Evie are one of my favorite book couples. Relent is the first of her new series, so you can get to know them right from the very beginning.
I was especially excited because I’d only read a couple of these books before, so I used it as a way to see which ones I really want to read. The answer- every single damn one of these sexy fuckers!! Seriously!! There wasn’t a ‘bad’ excerpt in the whole thing!
I got to read from several series that I didn’t even know existed, such as “Second Chance with a Rock Star”. It’s part of a series of books by Shari Slade and I’ve already bought the first one so I can get started. The excerpt isn’t from the first book, which only made me more curious as to what happens to lead up to the moment included in Taste Me.
My online reading friends have been telling me for ages that I need to read CD Reiss. After reading this piece from Coda I’m asking myself why the hell I waited so long! I bought the entire Submission series to get myself caught up.
The very best part of this whole group of excerpts was the one from the upcoming Hold Me from Anna Zaires. I saw that in the table of contents and thought I’d surely died and awoken in Julian heaven. This is the third and final book in the Twist Me series, and they MUST be read in order. I’ve read the first two and have been impatiently biding my time for the third. The ability to experience this scene from a yet to be released book I’ve been so looking forward to was sublime. Julian is even more perfect than I already thought he was. It is apparent that circumstances have affected his feelings for Nora…in what I feel is a positive and deeper way. I really needed this small tidbit to hold me over until the book comes out in July. If you haven’t read this series yet, it will give you an idea as to who Nora and Julian are and will leave you wanting to get to know them more.
I’ve only chosen to go over a few of the excerpts because to talk about all TWENTY SEVEN (yes, that’s right-27!!) of them would take way too much of all of our times. I want to point out that not only is each excerpt sexy but it also has enough surrounding the sex to give you a glimpse into what the book or series is about and who the characters are.
This is the first time I’ve read anything like this and I can only hope that it has set a precedent for future authors. I would buy each and every one of these that they published just so I could discover new authors and series I want to read. The only drawback has been to my bank account…. I ended up having to buy 21 books in order to own either the one that was featured in this book or the beginning of the series it was a part of. But I don’t regret it a bit. The fact that I purchased them so that I could read every author that was part of this collaboration shows that I meant it when I said there wasn’t a single excerpt that didn’t leave me wanting more! Think of it as an entire book filled with #TLGDirtyQuotes (The Literary Gossip blog…if you don’t follow them you’re missing out!) plus bonus scenes!

This is a fantastic anthology. As the title says it's a Taste of some books already released and some upcoming books.

This book has some really hot scenes from some fantastic authors. Although I've read books from some of these authors there are quite a few I haven't read. While reading this anthology I 1-clicked quite a few books.

If your looking for some new authors or just want to revisit your favourite authors then this is certainly worth getting. The hot scenes are scorchers. Loved it.

This is such a hot sample of stories book it should be on flames!!!!! I started with Red Phoenix's sample out of curiosity on the part of her story she added here as I have already read her story and it was a hot hot part!! The same goes for Cherise Sinclair's sample. Is a very hot sexy one and it just open my appetite for more of her story! I moved on with the rest authors and their samples are steaming hot also! Great job ladies and can't wait to read all of your stories!

A few WONDERFUL's -- a good way to see what some authors might be like without buying the whole book

This was supposed to be an ARC review but life kind of got in the way

Most of the teasers were pretty good and there were definitely several that made my wish list and a special few that were purchased right away. So let's begin.... (In Order of Books I Bought, Books that made the Wish list, and Not Interested In)

Books I Bought:

HOLD ME
First off, I am biased when it comes to this teaser because I agreed to do the review mostly for this advanced snippet. I'd read the first two books in the series and was drooling over any more of Julian and Nora's story I could get. Anna's work is outstanding. She almost always leaves me breathless and every time I re-read her work, I catch something I missed the first time or get a new, more detailed understanding of her characters. This series is deep and their story is unusually enriching and stunning. Get ready for a journey of passion and growth.

TIGHT
Oh my goodness did this sample bolt right into sizzling. What guaranteed the purchase?
" 'Meaning,' he growled, 'that if I have you, you will not return to life as you know it... You will bend for me, spread for me, allow me to have every inch of your surface, all while screaming my name.

MASTER OF FREEDOM
The only reason I haven't purchased this yet is because it is book 5 in the series and I want to read the series from the beginning. I should point out that I am already a big fan of Cherise Sinclair and her Shadowlands series. Planning to start her Mountain Masters and Dark Haven Series soon.

HATE F*@K
I found myself skimming the sex just so I could get more information about the characters. I wanted so much to know more about Hailey and Cole and the first book was available for free. Other two are $2.99 each and available for free with Kindle Unlimited

I love stories that walk you through the world of a Submissive learning and growing, especially if they are detailed and not an introduction in the first chapter and then suddenly, they are progressing to severe play. This one definitely takes you into the world as a newbie to learn and grow alongside Brie.


WISH LIST

The GENTLEMAN MENTOR
-- love reading BDSM, especially when you are seeing a newbie learning of the world and where they can go within it, as long as it isn't boring or talks down to the reader. This one definitely caught my attention and I'm eager to read more.

CRUSADER
-- I loved the harsh opening to this. Hugh is a perfect heart-racing Dom and the energy just press from the word on the page. This is the first time I’ve read about a switch. In this case a sub to one male but a Domme to another male. Granted the male sub was a Dom playing Sub for the Domme's sake due to emotional turmoil but I still found the dynamics between the two interesting and a new side of BDSM that is read about but never experienced in fiction form

WITHOUT ME
-- In the erotica world I haven't seen a lot of books from the guy's point of view and this one is definitely enticing. Story has promise.

CODA
I love the dominance in this tease; this is definitely BDSM. Got my heart rate going.
I liked that Coda got me interested in the Songs of Submission Series bit looking at the bundles, there are 6 "books" that appear to be short snippets like this one all strung together. I've downloaded Beg, the first in the series and will let that push me one way or the other.

NOT INTERESTED IN BUYING

Second Chance with a Rockstar
-- Writing style was good but story just didn't grab me

Love the Way You Lie
-- Didn't really feel any emotions from or between the characters other than Honey's fear

Sustain
-- The description didn't grab me on this and the tease wasn't much better. Rating through was difficult. I constantly wanted to skim ahead to get to something more interesting.

PAWN
-- I liked the premise but the fight was weak and the female lead made it out to be way more than it was.

DANGEROUS TEMPTATIONS
-- No zing

CHASING THE DRAGON
-- While some of the energy was enticing, the back and forth emotional shifts between the characters

STEALING HOME
-- I was so caught up in the banter between the characters that I forgot about the sex scene but there wasn’t much instruction into the storyline for me to care

BEHIND THE MASK
-- Another one I had trouble getting through. I wanted it to be enticing but just couldn't latch onto it.

ALEX
-- Alex started well but the virgin suddenly shifting to wanting it rough, hard, and deep killed my mood quickly.

DIRTY TIES
-- This one had me until she "slams an elbow as hard as she can into his groin. I'm sorry but I don't know a single guy that would: 1.) all want to have sex after that no matter the mood, 2. Would be able to get his body to respond again

KISS ME KATE
-- I kept wanting to skim this

FORBIDDEN NIGHTS
-- While I liked the sexual description, the story just didn't grab me

BENT, NOT BROKEN
-- I really had trouble with this one, partially due to the lead male name but mostly due to the writing style being weak and boring

TAKEME
-- Another one I skimmed

RELENT
-- While this was quick and hot and had some edge, I didn't get anything of the story to interest me

UNTWISTED
Untwisted was interesting. Though the part with Jazz pushed up against the window was tantalizing, the end of the tease with the family drama was more of a draw than most of the sex. Unfortunately not enough to prompt me to buy the book.

I AM NOT YOUR MELODY
-- I wanted this to be good because I wanted the female lead to be strong but I felt like every other statement was repeated...and their quickly got frustrated

CLIPPED BY LOVE
-- quick sex but no appeal

One of the great things about reading an anthology is your introduction to new writers that are unfamiliar to you. I found a couple of author’s that I had not read, but now love their writings.

There is a wide variety of erotic styles and content. Shoshanna Evers’ scene from “I Am Not Your Melody” is highly erotic, but not extremely descriptive of body parts. I have read and reviewed “I Am Not You Melody” and it is one of my favorite books, perhaps the best that Shoshanna has written. It is her first foray into the cowboy genre with a series coming soon that is introduced in “I Am Not Your Melody”. There is a je ne sais quoi quality that I simply cannot put into thoughts or words. We gave copies of this book to several friends who are not usually readers of erotica, and they all loved it.

On the other end of the spectrum is Red Phoenix’s “Brie’s Russian Treat: Submissive in love”. There are now approximately 8 - 10 novellas or novels in the Brie Series.I would highly recommend you read the first book, “Brie Learns the Art of Submission: Submissive Training Center” to see if you like this BDSM. These books definitely need to be read in order. Once you have read the series in order, the newest additions of the “Submissive in Love” stories do not need to be read in order, however, do NOT read this entire book of ‘Brie’s Russian Treat: Submissive in Love’ before you have read the other books. The scene in this anthology is an exception in BDSM.

Rytsar Durov is an extreme sadist. Brie met him during her training in the Submissive Training Center. He fulfilled one of her fantasies at that time. And Rytsar has a piece of her heart. Brie is not into sadism and pain, but since Rytsar is her Sir’s best friend, she will do anything to please Sir. They make a couple of trips to Russia to visit with Rytsar. His only pleasure comes from inflicting pain. Brie tolerates a few scenes, and although she still does not enjoy the pain, Rytsar does give her great pleasure after the pain. The Russian adventures are one of the darkest aspects of BDSM for someone who is not a masochist. If you love BDSM, you will love this series, and if you don’t like Rytsar, you can simply not read those trips to Russia.

Overall the series is wonderful. It is a real education into all aspects of BDSM. Brie may be the ultimate submissive, but she is the one who is in control. She does her own documentary of her experiences at the Submissive Training Center that becomes a monster hit, and even though it results in Sir losing a lot of his business customers, he supports her 100%. She is a remarkable submissive in sexual matters: however, she is a very strong, talented, hard-nosed business woman.

Read the first book, and if you love it as I did, you are in for a series of real treats. It is well written and has stories that will keep you wanting more.

You're going to want them all

Taste Me has sexy excerpts from popular books and well-known authors. From what I’ve read, the excerpts aren’t spoilers; they just give you a good idea if you’ll like the featured books or not.

There were two or three books that, before reading Taste Me, I had decided against reading or buying. Now, though—whew! Some of those scenes are just amazingly hot and interesting, and they won me over. I’m buying them. That’s the only problem with this book. You’re going to want to read more.

Rather than just the first 15% of the book (like many Amazon previews), Taste Me has select scenes, usually the more romantic scenes, that really show the heart of the books.

After reading Taste Me, I have changed my mind about some of the books excerpted—some for the better and some for the worse. I’m going to buy some of the books featured and watch for sales on a few others.

There’s no real reason NOT to get Taste Me, especially for free or even at $0.99. Yeah, you’re not getting a complete book, but when finished with these red hot excerpts, you’re just as satisfied as the characters are.

The stories were chosen to tempt readers, and they really do.

Holy crap! That's the one thought that comes to my mind after reading this book. It has a little bit of everything a reader could like. It's a collection of some very HOT scenes of some upcoming books by some amazing authors. It's a perfect collection to find out which books you want to read more. It's perfect if you are the type of reader who loves to re-read all the good parts of a book.

Some of the stories are second or third in a series, where they characters and their relationships are established and we're just following their lives. Some of the stories focus on new attractions, even their first sexual experience together. There's some BDSM scenes, some menage scenes, and some just plain vanilla sex. I was able to get a feel for the characters in the short snippets, others I couldn't quite get a read on. Some of them left me wondering how things were going to turn out for them, while others I just knew things would fall into place for them. The one thing that they had in common was they were all hot.

I really enjoyed getting a little taste of so many author's writing styles in one place. It will help me decide which books I will be reading in the future. Unfortunately for my bank account, there were several I liked.

Taste Me is an collection of 27 sexy, steamy erotic excerpts from 30 bestselling erotic romance authors. The scenes are from books that have either been released, or will be released in 2015.

I love the concept of this anthology. You’ll get a scene within a book, and the author gives a brief synopsis of what you’re about to read, including a little back story. Like the title says, these scenes are just a taste, but enough to whet your appetite for more. There’s something for everyone who enjoys erotica: romance, suspense, dark, BDSM, D/s. It’s all there.

A few stories I’ve already read, but enjoyed reliving the hot scenes, once again. I also got to sample some authors I haven’t discovered yet, so I’m excited to dive into their books.

Whatever you like, there’s plenty in there to have you one-clicking without hesitation.

This collection was meant to let us readers get a taste of what's coming up. Wowie Wow Wow Wow! I loved it. Get ready to add a LOT of stuff to your TBR's!
27 delicious little bites of sexy, steamy, erotic fun. With each little appetizer you get just enough to whet your appetite for more. There are also purchase links and trust me you will want to use them! I think that this book was a wonderful idea, it's nice to get a free sample of the goods before you buy, which you can do with Amazon, but I figure this way the author had picked out a piece of the pie that will leave you hungry for the rest. Plus I got to meet some new authors, which I always love. Beware, though because you'll want to be one clicking the night away. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Taste me is FIVE stars of entertainment. Taste is such an erotic word.... This book is full of taste. This book is a collaboration of different authors best erotic scene. I loved it. Ever wonder about an author's full potential to really wet your panties before buying a whole book? This book offers a tantalizing sneak peak into some of the dirtiest scenes ever. I marked half of the book as to read before I was done. The book offers you just a glimpse of what the book may offer, and I found this pretty fun. Im in between books at the moment and so this was fun to read without the pressure of having to read a whole book to enjoy a nice erotic scene. Great idea!

Be prepared for a whole lot hotness and some panty melting.These teasers are so smoking hot and sexy. I loved them!! I have not read a few of these books but guess what. I am now. Anything that can make me blush like I did reading through these is worth the read. These are some pretty amazing authors in Taste Me and this is the perfect chance to get a glimpse into their books. Wow!!! I got this book prior to the release to read and review. I was a little nervous at first as I wasn't sure how I would like getting a teaser as I don't normally read them at the end of an author's book. I LOVED! And wow...were there some really hot scenes!!! I paced myself with 3-4 teasers a night and discovered so many new authors that I can't wait to read. And...some even have books for free to start out on. Now I just have to figure out which one to start with first.

Some stories I read already, others I heard so much about, the rest are new to me authors but after reading these snippets I will certainly read the books.
It's a great way to find the next hot read and an even better way to discover new authors.
The excerpts are sinfully naughty and they leave you wanting more..plus the collection is free so what's not to love!!!!

I took out a notepad and wrote down every author and tittle of their book (of the books I haven't read yet) because I NEED to read them all!

Nothing amps up my anxiety to read a book more than knowing there are good sexy scenes. Reading the snippets in this book made me anticipate reading each of the stories I haven't yet had a chance to devour. Having the link to buy each individual book at the end of each excerpt makes one-clicking so much easier.

I have to say, I don't generally enjoy anthologies. I like deeper character development and I like to get invested in the story, but these stories were truly that…tastes of stories you may not have read yet or stories to come later in 2015. If you're looking for a few new, really great authors to read, give these shorts a try. I read snippets from a few of my favs and found a couple new.
