THE VAULT. VAMPIRES OF ROME: CARLO
Carlo Agosti rules over his lair as Vampire Lord of Italy deep under the streets of Rome in what is simply known as 'The Vault'. He is used to his orders obeyed, control smoothly flows in his domain. But when the sacred vampiric grimoires are stolen, he never expected to have that control challenged, certainly not from a stunning redhead with a fiery temper to match. Testing even his eternal patience, his little seer has no idea she is his fated Luce Eterna, his light eternal. In a race to find the grimoires and protect her from the enemies that have crawled out the woodwork, she will be his and his alone and nothing will get in the way of what belongs to him.
Amelia Wildfrost can not only talk to the dead but she also gets some weird ass visions added into the mix, but that just comes with the territory as a spirit oracle. When she is sent to Italy to speak to a dead guard in a vampire city she never knew existed, she finds her whole world upended when she sets eyes on the sexy, but arrogant Lord Agosti. She's going to need to focus all her skills to solve this case and keep her damn hormones under control when he's around. As the case unravels she finds she needs Carlo more than ever, if he would just stop growling and giving her those heated stares that sends shivers down her spine.

Had a lot of potential.
I had two major issues with this book and those were the Spice and the Multi-POV. It's not that there wasn't enough spice it's that the spice wasn't detailed enough. It was over to quick. There was almost no foreplay which to me is just not fun. Some of my favorite Authors are J.R. Thorn and Nikita Parmenter and Elizabeth Dear. Those Authors take time with the spicy scenes that they write. They give you all the details and that is what this books spice seamed to lack. The last issue I had with this was the Multi-POVs. Usually, each chapter of the book will have the name of the characters POV on the first page of each chapter. That was not the case with this book. Instead of having them separate, they were all mixed together. One paragraph could be the FMCs POV and the next it would be the MMC. There was no separation. And, to make it worse, it also had some of the side characters POV. It was a mess. I'm not sure why the Author would choose to write it like that. On a side note; I would really like to find an FMC who didn't have an unhealthy addiction to sweets. I'm not going to continue with this series. I did love the Spirit Guide.

An Interesting Read - BUT full of of spelling, grammar and punctuation errors
It took me way longer than usual to get through this book, the story itself is interesting and was very entertaining.
That said I kept starting and stopping, the amount of errors in the book covering any and all aspects of; spelling, grammar and punctuation was truly frustrating. Frankly if I wasn’t invested in the story I would have quit reading the book less than 20% through it.
So even though I did really enjoy the plot and characters I really don’t know if I can push myself through more of the same. At one point I was even wondering if the unedited version had been sent to press by mistake.

I was craving a vampire read so picked this and it was good.
Carlos is the Lord of Rome, well vampire Rome, he is strong, dark and has a presence about him. He also has a personality and I really liked him.
Amelia, well she talks to the dead. She's a confident woman that speaks her mind, she's independent other than her invisible sidekick ziggy. she's all these things but still a woman and can't help being moved by the vamps attention.
There's romance and danger. A good read.

great story but also great fun
True romance with adventure, paranormal activities , gorgeous vampires and hot sex but the fun bit is Ziggy Hilarious sidekick to Amelia , made the book much more fun , definately reading the next book asap

Amazing
This book is wonderful! Suspense, anger, love, hate and funny. I love the character "Ziggy" . You will love him too! I read it in one day. Get it quickly. You won't regret it.

The story was decent enough, but the writing is poor. I don't mind the odd spelling mistake or grammatical error, but there were so many it detracted from the story.

This book was advertised on my Facebook feed. I love vampire books so decided to download and try it. I was not disappointed I was hooked after the first chapter and loved getting immersed into the vampire vault in Rome. The plot was really entertaining and written well with lots of humour. I finished it in one day and couldn’t wait to download the others in the series. Now just starting number 6 and each one has been excellent.
