I got to read the arc and when I tell yall I had the best time reading this book! The urging the angst! The love that filled every page it’s giving 90s kind of love it’s everything romance should be!

I had the pleasure of reading an ARC copy of Technical Knock-Out by Author DRW, and OH, WHAT A TIME! 😮💨🥊❤️
This story follows Tre and Karissa, two childhood sweethearts who grew up loving each other. Tre is a boxer with one HOT temper, and even though he loves Karissa, he makes the decision to walk away—and stays gone for TEN YEARS! 😩
But eventually Tre realizes he made a mistake. He knows exactly where his heart belongs, and he’s ready to get back to the woman he’s always loved.
Meanwhile, Karissa has spent those ten years living her life. She never expects Tre to come back, but BABY… HE DOES! And the shift when these two are back in each other’s orbit?! 👀🔥
The chemistry. The history. The feelings that clearly never went anywhere. And watching certain people realize they probably should’ve never been part of the equation in the first place?! 😂 I enjoyed that part of the story WAY too much!
Tre and Karissa had me laughing, smiling, shedding a tear, and wanting to fuss at somebody—all in the same book. 😂 Author DRW really gave me all the emotions at once.
And if you love a good boxing romance? 🥊 This one gives you those vibes too! You’ve got the fights inside the ring AND the fight to repair a love that never really disappeared.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 (4.5 Stars)
I love a good second-chance romance, and what made this one stand out is that there wasn’t some huge betrayal that tore the couple apart. No cheating, no unnecessary drama. Just two teenagers whose lives changed when Trey had to move away after his mom remarried. Sometimes life simply gets in the way, and I appreciated that this story leaned into that.
Seeing Trey return home ten years later to the woman he never forgot was so sweet. I also loved that he respected the fact that Karissa was in a relationship instead of trying to come between them. Meanwhile, Karissa knew exactly what she wanted once Trey was back in her life.
My favorite part, though, was watching Karissa support Trey. His insecurities about returning to boxing felt believable, and she never stopped encouraging him or reminding him of what he was capable of. She wasn’t just his love interest, she was his biggest supporter, and I loved that dynamic.
If you enjoy first loves, second chances, and romances where the couple genuinely uplifts one another, I definitely recommend giving this one a read.

We got spice! We got drama ! We have such cute moments too ! DRW LITERALLY never misses & Techincal Knock-Out was no different ! I wanna say thank you to DRW for trusting me with this arc read too !
The FMC & MMC were literally the cutest thing finding each other again and recognizing that they still love each other. And what is love if not a little chaos with it and drama! If you’ve also read some of her other books, she throws it back in the best way to another book you should read to ( everything we shouldn’t be ) I could go on and on about it but you need to go read it in order to find out !

Dejah. Dejah. Dejah. I love a second chance romance. It definitely gave ’90s love. We had childhood sweethearts who grew up loving each other and never really stopped. Tre loved Karissa so much that walking away for ten years was his way of loving her and keeping her safe, even if she didn’t understand it at the time. Now, was that man a hothead? Absolutely 😂 But when he went and got his baby back?! The chemistry SHIFTED. And baby, whew… that grown, adult love?! I was here for ALL of it. Again, I love a good second-chance romance, and this one did exactly what it needed to do. Yeah, you ate this DOWN. And the spice? CHEF’S KISS, my girl🔥

Technical Knock-Out was such a sweet second-chance romance! I absolutely loved watching Trey and Karissa find their way back to each other after ten years apart. Even with all that time and distance, it was obvious their love never truly faded. Their chemistry felt so natural, and I couldn’t help but root for them every step of the way. If you’re looking for a heartfelt romance with plenty of longing, healing, and a couple worth cheering for, definitely pick this one up!

Trey and Karissa 's chemistry was so cute and cozy! Technical Knock Out is a feel good experience of Second Chance and redemption. Coming back home is not always easy, especially when there are word left unsaid. I adored this book so much!!!
