Between Worlds #4

Forgotten Promise

Rate this book
“I did the spell to save your life, but I also did it to fulfill a promise I made to you,” Rylie said. “What promise was that?” I asked. “I promised you I’d find a way for you to be together—with Drake—with me." “I don’t remember that promise,” I said sadly, really wishing I did.

This book was a tear jerker because of the way Sierra lost her memory and how she was lost after not being human anymore

I adore this series! There wasn't much of a description, so I wasn't sure what to expect. IT WAS AWESOME!

The first three books are from Rylie's point of view. This one was not, so I didn't know how I'd feel about it. This installment was told from Rylie's best friend, Sierra's point of view. It was also a love story with Drake. Swoon! I love Drake!

The one thing I really liked about this book, was how creative the author was. She was a little quick in some spots, but the concept of the plot was original. It was a richly imagined Fae world.

I actually enjoyed seeing things from Sierra's side. It showed a different facet of Rylie and Kallan. The majority of the story still revolved around them, just with Sierra's character being more fleshed out and relateable.

This is a fae series that I would highly recommend to readers of ya/na paranormal romance. I have to give this installment of the Promise series five glittery stars! I hope there is more to come!

I don't know..I really enjoyed the first three books in the Series, but somehow I just couldn't get into this one. I mean, the stuff isn't really new at all. Not even in the first books. Girl finds out she's not human, but a fairy. And of course, she is not any fairy, but THE fairy. But now her BFF also has to become a fairy and of course she's also not a normal one, but ultra special. Because there are never any normal people in books.
I guess I would've liked it better if she didn't get all her memories back. If she would have her empaty power (which is already amazing enough), but not another superpower. It's just over the top - in my opinion. I'll see, what I think of the last one.

the book would have heen really good if Sierra had not gotten her memory back in the final battle of the book. i think the memory loss dynamic in her relationships would have been more interesting in future books. the "fairy tale" happy ending ruined it for me...what happened to the consequences of using dark magic? magically reverses when you hit your head? could've solved it with a rock to the head earlier and saved me time investing in the "new" Sierra. i wont be continuing with the series.

Forgotten Promise (Between Worlds Book 4)

Wow that was just a wonderful book. It was real hard to put down. Sierra finally gets her wish. Although her, Drake,Rylie, and Kallan have their ups and downs in the book at the end everything finally comes together for them. The only thing that is not coming together is the dreaded 3. They have a lot stuff to figure out yet.

This was such an amazing story! I've loved this series what with the first three stories being Rylie's point of view and to read her best friend Sierra's point of view was just amazing! I am so glad that this story had a happy ending!

I love the between worlds series and I love how this is left open for a book 5. I also like how it's written from sierra's point of view. She is such a strong character and it's nice to see the relationship between her & Drake.

This book is the fourth book in the in-between worlds series and it is amazing i love all of the twists and turns in it and it's in someone else's point of view (so basically it isn't about Rylies life...... )

Great switch in this book

I really liked how this switched to Sierra's perspective. Storyline continues to be pretty good, slightly predictable but definitely enjoyable!
