So this was a really cute book with a cute premise that I am always a sucker for.

This first part of the book was very enjoyable. It moved along pretty fast, but it was good.

But then after THAT moment things went from a little fast to full on hyper-speed.

description

And I don't mean that in a good way.

description

Seriously though, it had these two going from childhood nemesis to Oh-my-God-I-LURVE-you within the space of what, a week or so?

It just was just too fast for me and I've been known to get all tweaked out speedy, so that's really saying something.

Anyway, this was an okay read.

And I might continue with this series - or actually read book 1 and 2 (whoops!), if only to find out what brother Luke's dealio is.

3 I See The Real You Stars * * *

I am a sucker for bride stories... I watch Say Yes To The Dress and love it every time they find just the right one(not always My choice but what the hay... It is their day). Tule Publishing has been doing series which take place in Marietta, Montana causing a sense of connection to all of the books from one series to the other. This series is Montana Born Brides with Bride by Mistake by Nicole Helm as the third entry. You do not need to read these books in order; each may reference back to the major event of the entire series... sort of like being the thread woven through...

In this part we have Kaitlin Shuller watching the dream she had since third grade die before her eyes. Yes, Kaitlin got it into her head when she was eight Carter McArthur was going to be hers. He was everything she wanted; he came from a stable family with no money worries the opposite of hers. He was strong, true, dependable and caring. She made it her life's goal to turn herself into the woman he would want.

And she did...Kaitlin went to church, worked hard and became a talented florist. Obeyed all the rules... never stepped out of place and never did anything to upset the people she loved. Her sister, on the other hand, did anything she wanted from birth; was rowdy and care free, took chances and asked for forgiveness after the fact.

And who did Carter wish to marry... Yup... her Sister, Sierra!

So as Kaitlin watches her sister go down the isle with Carter for their Happily Ever After, she has an epiphany. No more will she be thinking of others and let that guide her thoughts and actions; no more will she just do things because it is expected of her...

She has these thoughts when she comes across the bane of her existence, Beckett Larson. He was the Bad Boy with Capitals when she was in school... all the girls wanted him and she couldn't understand why she felt tingles in her dreams about him when she wanted Carter in her mind and heart. This caused a type of hate banter between them over the years...She would see him doing things when no one was watching.... good things and decided he was a good person just pushing others away because of how people classified him.

Beckett was always aware of Kaitlin, too. First she was the sister to his only friend in Marietta, Luke. Then she may have talked back to his calling her Kate on purpose but she never made him feel less than... or like dirt. He had feelings for her but had kept them in the back pocket knowing they meant nothing really. He reaches out to her at this wedding and lets her know he understands her stress...Kaitlin is taken aback and is worried others may have suspected her feelings for Carter too. Reassured, no that wasn't the case, Kaitlin asks Becket to take her to Greys Saloon. She is ready to break her mold...and Beckett is there to help her do it.

What happens next is a sweet moment of Beckett and Kaitlin experiencing a coming together... they drink and he is watchful of her... she never has done anything like this before...and during this time ... they talk. Kaitlin decides she is tired of always waiting for things and wants to have real life experiences...starting with getting rid of her dusty old VCard. Her attempt at seducing Becket is an awkward kiss at her place. She is embarrassed... then Beckett takes her face in his hands and starts to show her how a kiss should be done.

From there, Beckett is careful... he is not sure if this should happen (he has no idea about the VCARD) and keeps asking her if this is what she wants...Because kissing Kaitlin was not what he thought it was going to be... his fantasy of it was not even close. It was amazing once she opened to him. These two are meant for each other in ways they never thought of and together the experience it more than either of them could have expected or wanted.

Things happen after this coming together which make both of them react in ways which is not how they felt. Beckett is dealing with old feelings of being a plaything...a rebellion and Kaitlin is trying not to fall into bad habits of thinking things are more than they are. So both are confused for all the wrong reasons...and then...

Life throws another curve ball at them...so now they both are going to be tied together permanently.

This was an opposites attract/love/hate thing with a dose of people-not- letting-the-past-go-and-seeing-them-for-who-they-have-become-thing. I liked Beckett and when he finally planted his feet in the ground and decided to show Kaitlin who he was...He had me. Kaitlin was not my favorite because she seemed so tied up in her head... it was understandable due to her past history; however... Becket was as plan as day on his face as to how he felt... so her journey took a little long for me.

As I said earlier, bride stories will always draw me in and this one worked on a few levels. The continuing theme of Montana Born means all of the brides are from the town with past history...makes for interesting stories.

Back to Marietta this time around it is for Montana Born Brides.

Bride by Mistake is Kaitlin and Beckett's story. They have disliked each other since childhood Kaitlin is the good girl but her dream man is marrying her little sister and Beckett is the tattooed bad boy best friend of her big brother.

So on the night of the wedding Kaitlin has had enough of being good so she decides to rebel and seduce Beckett and have one wild night of sex but one night changes both their futures forever.

I enjoyed Bride by Mistake it was a nice story well written and Beckett was HOT but Kaitlin did get on my nerves by the end - she likes him, she hates him blah blah blah, make your mind up woman. I am looking forward to the rest in this series.

4 - "You're not really as Mr. Bad Boy as you seem to think you are." Stars!

Bride by Mistake is probably one of the best novellas I have read through Tule Publishing, being book three in the Montana Born Brides series, you can read them in order or quite easily as standalones if you wish.

Sex and hearts didn’t always intertwine.

I think everyone needs their own Beckett Larson, the tattooed, motorbike riding, perceived bad boy, with an absolute heart of gold. Not without his faults for sure, but put against straight laced Kaitlin Shuller’s abrupt nature and this was a novella match made for reading!

Everything just clicked for me with this novella; I stayed up well past my bedtime to finish it. There isn’t really anything out of the ordinary in the storyline, and it certainly held no surprises, but I enjoyed every minute of it.

No man had ever... been this much.

One thing is for sure, I will be looking for more books by Nicole Helm as her characters and writing style really did tick all my boxes.

Aww!

The bad boy with a heart of gold meets good girl is a theme that is very common in romance, and this book told one of the better ones. What made this work was the writing. It was easy to read. Great banter and humor, plus the chemistry between Beckett and Kaitlin was undeniable.

Poor Beckett, the hero. He is an ex bad-boy in a small town that won't let it go. He has the misfortune of rescuing the Kaitlyn, the dweeby heroine, at her sister's wedding. She's been in love forever with the man her sister just married.

She and Beckett have sex and she gets pregnant her first time. She waffles back and forth on what his involvement should be with the baby, making him feel like nothing. Compound this with Beckett's ex-best friend and ex-partner who thinks Beckett stole $1000 from their company.

I don't hold much happiness in store for Beckett as NOBODY gives him the benefit of the doubt. That plus dropped threads EVERYWHERE make for sloppy writing unless they are resolved in the next book.

Sweet little love story. Kaitlin could be whiny and childish at times. Beckett's response to the pregnancy was a little overboard even with his past. This wasn't insta-love since they've know each other since childhood, but it sure seemed liked it. There was no resolution with Beckett and her brother, Luke. I hope Luke gets his own HEA, and we get answers to this situation.

We start off the story with Kaitlin at her sister's wedding marrying her childhood crush. Kaitlin's a florist in a small town and was not only part of her sister's bridal party but created the beautiful flowers for the wedding. Kaitlin is heartbroken and at a lost at how the love of her life is marrying her "rebel" sister. She's tried to do everything right all her life in hopes that she'll earn the love of the man she's always wanted.

Beckett, town bad boy. He knew how to push perfect Kaitlin's buttons. He attends Kaitlin sister's wedding when he notices not all is right with Kaitlin.

Kaitlin makes a decision that she done being perfect and doing the right thing because in sure didn't get her the man she's always wanted. She see's Beckett and decides he's what she needs to change her life from what it's been to what she now wants. She has always been drawn to Beckett, he seemed to get a reaction from her that no one else every did.

The night of the wedding changes everything for these two MC. We are then drawn into the unfolding of their relationship and how they ruttier through their new circumstances.

The characters in this romance where somewhat frustrating in how they handled their situation. Some of their decision's didn't ring true and the heroine at times really bugged me. I found her irritating and at times childish like. The hero was sweet and I liked him more then the heroine.

Writing was okay but the plot at times dragged. Just an okay read.

Disappointing read ending at 53%

It seems ages since I read a nice simple romance, a book without the MC's, the shifters or the crime bosses so I thought I'd give this a try the blurb sounded good and the reviews looked to be mainly 4 star.
Kaitlin decided when she was ten that Carter McArthur was perfect for her, she had their whole life planned out so it hurts that she's now attending his wedding, the wedding where he's marrying her sister.
Now that her dream has well and truly gone she's lost and leaves the wedding with Beckett her brothers friend and town bad boy, she drinks away her sorrows and gives him her virginity.
So what went wrong with this book?
Beckett wasn't so much a bad boy as a sweetie with a huge heart, if he's the town's bad boy then the rest must be absolute angels.
Kaitlin annoyed me, I found her totally unlikeable for the first 50% of the book and then it ended, yes it ends at 53% now this is the first (and last) of this series I've read but I didn't expect that.

Nicole Helm isn’t a new author to me and along with knowing the quality of novellas Tule Publishing consistently release, I had no hesitation in reading Bride by Mistake. Whilst the third in the Montana Born Brides Series, series, there would be no problem in reading this as a standalone, although there is some character crossover.

“You’re not nearly as Mr. Bad Boy as you seem to think you are.”

With wonderful characters and a captivating, tight storyline that flows well, I devoured this in one sitting. Granted there is a minor similarity to the previous book in the series's do an element that perhaps didn't need to be repeated, but nevertheless Kaitlin and Beckett’s journey brought emotion, as characters they were down-to-earth befitting to the Montana Born way and I wanted nothing more than for this couple to find their Happily Ever After.

Bride by Mistake was a pleasure to read and I’m looking forward to reading Maisey Yates’ addition next, Finally his Bride which focusses on Kaitlin’s brother, Luke.

Ms. Helm is a good writer and her story here is sweet and sexy.

Except for one thing that bothered me so much it wrecked the story for me.

Let's take a moment to acknowledge that condoms used consistently and correctly have a 2% chance of causing an unintended pregnancy in a year. In this book, the couple used the condom correctly and, just because this is Romlandia, she gets pregnant. (This shouldn't be a spoiler--look at the cover.)

Why? Is this some secret campaign for abstinence only sex ed? If that's the case, Ms. Helm's shouldn't have written sex as something that sounds awfully fun for these two unmarried hotties.

It really pulled me out of the story. I feel as though the "we used a condom and got pregnant anyway" is having one's plot cake and eating it too. An author can write responsible characters but still have the baby plot.

I wish they wouldn't.

Short and sweet. The relationship needed more development. The H was really sweet - until he was too demanding. The h had some issues that were suddenly resolved.

The story is about 50% of the ebook file - there is a second short story included.

Have you ever got the feeling you become the person people say you are even if it’s not really who you entirely may be?

Okay, so based on the book cover, there will be an unexpected pregnancy. Based on the book title, Bride by Mistake, they will get married because of the baby. On the other hand, let me tell you this, the story is more than that.

I like it when a romance book is more than the love story it carries. Kaitlin has the cliche storyline we see in the romance genre but Beckett’s character is the opposite. It is not heavily tackled but there are glimpses of the philosophical idea of personal identity. Beckett projects a personality somehow defined by the people around him. Some people accepted him but they still easily saw him like how others did when it fits a certain circumstance.

The book’s plot is light. I wish some people would still notice this topic was somehow included in the story because that made it worth my time to read and finish the book.

I remember discovering Nicole Helm last year and thinking wow, this author does a great socially awkward heroine, something I am always a sucker for. All I Have and Too Friendly to Date were adorably real stories where the guy started falling for the heroine, flaws and all, even before she started transforming into someone better and stronger. So I was excited to received Bride by Mistake from Netgalley, hoping for another awkward duckling makes good moment. Maybe my hopes were a little too high, because I was disappointed by the rigid and timid Kaitlin.

To be honest, I'm not a fan of the storyline where an accidental pregnancy brings two unlikely lovers together. Kaitlin and Beckett are together only one time and yes, with protection, but boom, pregnant. The rest of the book was hearing Kaitlin whine about how Beckett was pushing her for marriage and love and stability.

Kaitlin is the good girl. Beckett is the town bad boy, "Bad Seed Beckett", although it is never clear just what he did to earn his reputation. Yet it was Beckett that I fell in love with. He clearly pines for affection and love and is ready to give Kaitlin his all:
This was Kaitlin, and he couldn't decide if the right thing to do was giving her what she wanted or saving her from herself. Saving her from him
. Beckett is nothing but sweet and sexy with Kaitlin, even when she offers herself to him as a means to get back at her brother Luke, Beckett's business partner:
"I feel like I need to make this one hundred percent clear." He tipped up her chin till she met his blue gaze. "You would never be revenge."
But Kaitlin, even as she secretly acknowledges to herself that she has always been aware of Beckett's attraction to her, pushes him away time and time again. Even when he tells her he cares for her and is willing to do whatever it took to be together, Kaitlin petulantly resists
Do you think you could love me? How could she know? How could she make that decision? They'd slept together once, and sure she'd known him a long time but that didn't mean she knew him.
When the HEA comes along, it is at a headspinningly fast speed. So fast and abrupt that I wasn't really convinced it was a HEA but more of a HFN. That's a shame because Beckett really deserved a grand HEA.

4 stars for Beckett + 2 stars for Kaitlin = 3 stars

Kaitlin Shuller is almost a perfect girl. She does everything that is expected from her and more. Always following the rules and always taking care of what others might think. It was all for Carter, the boy she fell for when she was eight. She had since then dreamt of marrying him – the perfect guy, according to her. But real life has other plans which do not match with her dreams. Carter ends up marrying Kaitlin’s sister. As if a broken heart was not enough, Kaitlin has to go through the wedding pretending to be happy!

Beckett Larson has a reputation, one that is exactly opposite of Kaitlin. He is the bad boy that every mother warns their daughter about. Beckett never cared much about what people had to say about him and as such he never went out of his way to prove things either way. He rides out the waves as they come… But when he is accused of cheating and stealing from the business he helped build with his partner, he has had it…
Kaitlin and Beckett end up together as they try to drown their sorrows in a couple of drinks that lead the way to a passionate night. But is that is all that is there between those two? From enemies to lovers, they have come a long way. But will that be enough when life throws a curve ball at them?

Beckett was easy to fall for. He is the hottie bad boy that every girl has a thing for. But he also comes with a soft heart and lot of baggage. However, I do not agree to his ‘running away’ whenever there is some misunderstanding or so. It is okay if he doesn’t care what people think of him, but he should at least not take the blame for things he has not done by running away instead of standing up for himself. Kaitlin is a complete masochist… I can understand her wanting to be the good girl and all. But planning her sister’s wedding to the man she loves is a bit too much. Yet she takes it on anyway. They may be perceived as complete opposite of each other, but reality, they are a perfect match. Beckett can show Kaitlin how to loosen up and have a little fun while Kaitlin can show Beckett to calm down and actually care. Both the main characters are flawed and that is why I loved them so much. It is easy to point out what each of them needs to do yet, we see it around and within ourselves – small flaws that turn out to be so difficult to overcome.

The plotline is predictable and you will know every twist that is to come. But the sweet narration and the smooth flow of the story, along with its characters will keep you glued to the book.

Review by Trinette Dungee
Kaitlin Shuller has loved Carter McArthur for as long as she can remember. She’s planned their wedding, picked out their perfect house even named their unborn kids. Too bad he’s marrying her baby sister and not her. Talk about throwing a monkey wrench in her plans. The only thing worse than having to deal with her sister’s wedding day is dealing with Beckett Larson. For as long as Kaitlin has loved Carter, she’s hated Beckett, even if her subconscious did make her dream about him in her bed.

Beckett Larson was the town’s bad boy and no one ever let him forget it. Especially Kaitlin, the one woman he’d gladly give his heart to; fat chance of that happening when Kaitlin basically hates his guts. Kaitlin’s always had a handle on her emotions, she’d always been in charge but damned if Beckett isn’t the one person to always make her lose her cool. Knowing this he taunts her as much as he can. Yeah, Kaitlin was a challenge, but Beckett was no stranger to Challenges, hell his life in general was a challenge. Little did he know Kaitlin was going to give him the biggest challenge of his life.

On the night of her sister’s wedding Kaitlin has basically had enough, she’s always been the good girl, always done the right thing and look where that got her. So she’s determined to throw caution to the wind for just one night and who better to throw it to than Beckett. You know the saying “go big or go home” well; Kaitlin went big. Yep, she threw caution to the wind, her virginity at Beckett and she walked away with a baby. Now Beckett just had to convince her that there was more to him than his bad boy reputation and that he could be the man of her dreams and the perfect father to their unborn child.

This was a really quick read, a little too sweet but it hit the spot. It gave me giggles, it made me sad, it made me mad and it tugged at my heart. It was so short that there really isn’t too much to say other than I liked this story. Kaitlin’s little rants in the beginning were quite comical. Beckett’s determination to get her to admit that she loved him was a little too much sometimes but this story worked for me. So if you have a short plane/train ride and you need something to read…this is your book.

Wow, don't know why I enjoyed this so much but at one point I actually had tears welling up and rolling down my cheeks!

This is a classic, Kaitlin Shuller always does the right thing, her life has been one of pleasing others, having a plan and sticking to the rules. And what has it got her? Being maid of honour at her sister's wedding to Carter McArthur, the man of Kaitlin's dreams. All that waiting and hoping since she was in school, saving herself for 'The One' and he chose her bad girl little sister. But because she always does the right thing she is standing there in the Church with the man of her dreams, arranging the flowers!

Beckett Larson loathes the small town of Marietta, ever since he came to live with his grandmother as an angry 13 year old he has been labelled as bad news and a troublemaker, his nickname was Bad-Seed Beckett, with his tattoos and motorbike he just rubs Kaitlin up the wrong way, especially when he insists on calling her Kate or Katie. But when her sister's wedding gets too much and Kaitlin decides being 'good' has got her nowhere, Beckett seems like the man to help her be bad.

Beckett is having a bad day. He is in partnership with his best friend, Kaitlin's older brother Luke, but they have fallen out over a theft of money. Apparently years of friendship doesn't stop Luke assuming Beckett was the thief, despite the fact that the business is doing well for both of them.

I'm a sucker for stories where the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks falls for the good girl and this book just hit all the right buttons for me.

Off to find the other books and see why Luke's so upset.

The minute I realised that Kate only wanted Carter for his name and status, I lost all sympathy for her. Added in that she never really had a relationship/encounter with Carter I was just done with her. Beckett was to good for her.

*WARNING: This story ends at the 53% mark & is then followed by a "bonus" book from a different author.

I was diggin' this book at the beginning with the whole unexpected pregnancy + supposed bad boy baby daddy thing but then... I quickly grew disappointed with it. The heroine got on my nerves, fast, with her wishy-washy attitude & the ending was way too abrupt for my liking. I mean, don't get me wrong... I loved Kaitlin's surprise for Beckett at the end but we didn't even get to enjoy it. He arrived at the place, they chatted for a hot second & then... "The End". I felt a little cheated when I read those two words. *sigh*

Unless another book is offered up as a freebie on Amazon, it's highly unlikely that I'll continue on with this series.

this is a very short read. i actually thought this was a novel, but i guess this is a novella sized.

i really thought has promise. the start was quite good. the plot was good but then the climax and the resolution just kind of fell short. it was as though it wanted to just get over with it. i really thought, more conflict will come but i was very wrong.

it wasn't that bad of a story i just really thought there was going to be more of it. and also the title kind of lost me to the story... i just couldn't connect it.

it was a good read but not that good.

I received this book as an e-ARC free from Netgalley. Below is my review.

If I hadn't started this book just before I went to work, I would have read it in one sitting. When I got an email telling me this book was available to me on Netgalley, I did the "run, don't walk" thing and downloaded it right away. The blurb alone had me eager to read it and I was not disappointed.

Beckett and Kaitlin are both right up my alley as characters. Beckett is the bad boy with the heart of gold (You know, he rides a motorcycle, has tattoos, and gets into a lot of trouble as a high school kid.) type that always gets to me. Beckett has struggled all his life with being the "bad seed" and unloved. The only person who has ever stood up for him is Kaitlin's older brother Luke. Kaitlin is the good girl who always does the right thing but is not rewarded for being good. In fact, she is most decidedly punished for being good and the man she loves is marrying her bad girl sister. Kaitlin is a little bit of a doormat in her goodness, which extends to her helping with and being part of the wedding. Kaitlin and Beckett have a long history: he needles her and she gives him back as good as she gets. It's an adversarial relationship without any heat.

With the wedding night though, comes a lot of pain for Kaitlin. She's come to the realization that being good has gotten her nowhere and so she decides to be bad. And bad boy Beckett is just the one to be bad with. Unfortunately for both of them, Beckett is crazy about her and Kaitlin doesn't know how to handle being a bad girl. And one night, one mistake, and Kaitlin is pregnant.

I really liked how Beckett gives up his secrets slowly through the book. A little bit here, a little bit there and the bad boy becomes a man desperate to be loved and accepted. He wears his heart on his sleeve, literally, in the form of his tattoos. He craves to be understood by a certain good girl who holds her own against him. He aches for the stability of relationships. He has pride but also tenacity. Kaitlin struggles much more to break out of her rigidly planned and regimented life. She doesn't trust herself or her feelings and is both intrigued by and fearful of stepping out of her old life. But her struggles seem less emotional.

I really liked Bride by Mistake and look forward to reading more of Helm's Montana Born books.

This sexy enemies to lovers romance, part of the Montana Born Brides series but easily read as a standalone, is the story of Beckett and Kaitlin. They've been at odds since they were children, always pushing each other's buttons and getting under each other's skin. But when the love of Kate's life (or so she's always imagined) marries her sister, Beckett is the one she turns to forget everything for just one night. Surprised to discover that their animosity has really been covering up a deeper passion, Kate backs off when Beckett is ready to pursue more. But when Kate finds out that there will be more consequences from their night together than she was prepared for, will she finally confront her feelings and realize that it's Beckett she's wanted all along?

I really enjoyed this story! I always like the enemies to lovers trope - since we all know that the opposite of love is indifference not hate, it stands to reason that two people who are passionate in their dislike for one another are probably hiding some secret attraction, and that's definitely the case here. Beckett and Kaitlin finally succumb to the inevitable and the resulting scenes are steamy and emotional. But sex doesn't make a relationship and both characters have a lot to work on with themselves before they'll be ready to move forward. I liked how their characters evolved over the story. Beckett is used to running away when problems strike but he's realized that that is not the way to solve any of life's problems and this time he's determined to prove to himself and Kate that he's willing to go the distance and be there for her in any capacity. He really comes across as a generous and sweet guy, despite his bad boy reputation. Kate is so used to making a plan and sticking with it that it's blinded her to the fact that sticking with something is only worthwhile if it makes you happy in the long run. Determined not to make mistakes, she almost misses out on the opportunity to be with a man who cares for and about her. Their romance was really quite lovely as they worked through all their issues, and the ending was great. 4 stars!

I received an ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

Here we go again with another bride romance. If you follow my blog, you will notice that I often read light contemporary romance, and a lot of those have something to do with weddings. I just enjoy reading books with all those brides and grooms and parties and all those.

Bride By Mistake didn't really concentrate on a wedding. The book did start with a wedding, one of the heroine's sister and a man named Carter, whom the heroine had her sights set on. However, the rest of the book was no longer centered on a wedding.

The hero was the town's bad boy. Everybody expected him to screw up. I love this kind if hero, you know, the kind where nobody really trusts him anymore, but beneath all that rebellion is a really good man. I loved this book for the hero alone. Well, I liked the heroine too, but the hero took the cake for me.

This book has a steady pace. It was exciting enough that it made me keep on turning page after page. Thankfully, it was a fast read, so I got to finish it right away. I think this is my favorite book of the series, so far. I liked how the hero worked so hard, and I liked that the heroine made the grand gesture to prove that she was invested and that she believed in and loved the hero too.

I did hate the heroine's brother, but since he was just a secondary character, I couldn't care less. I would surely recommend this book to anyone. Not only is it an entertaining story, it is also one where the characters will win you over.

Some things will hurt, and some will be so amazing it will be worth it.

Kaitlin Shuller has been in love with the Carter since she was ten. She was so sure that he's the one. Now, he's getting married but not to her. He's getting married to her sister. And she did the flower arrangement for their wedding. Talk about martyr. Good thing there's 'bad seed' Beckett.

Beckett has a reputation he cannot escape. Not even when he wants to change. So when Kaitlin propose 'to do something stupid' he couldn't say no. But one night changes everything and Beckett is tired of running away but Kaitlin wants to escape it. And thus began a fine tale of romance between the two.

This book is so sweet! When I started reading this, I know, I just know, that I would love this. I couldn't put it down, I didn't even want to look up until I finished the whole book.

I love the main characters especially Beckett. People regard him as this 'bad seed' but inside, he's not as tough as he looks. Kaitlin was a bit stubborn and indecisive but she saw right through a person and believes in them. The supporting/other characters are contemptible, though. They're so blind-sighted with what they think was right, they didn't even let the other party involve to defend their side.

The pacing dragged a bit towards the end but the ending was endearing (and sweet!), nonetheless.

A one night stand with a twist.

Kaitlin Shuller didn’t want to be at her sister’s wedding. After all, she was marrying the man Kaitlin always dreamed about. But it was happening and there was nothing she could do but accept it.

Beckett Larson was always the bad boy in school. All the girls crushed on him. Kaitlin was a good girl and she tried not to notice him even though he was her brother’s best friend.

The night of Sierra’s wedding, Kaitlin can’t stand it any longer. She asks Beckett to take her away from there. After a couple drinks at Grey’s Saloon, Kaitlin decides she is ready to shed her good girl image. She wants Beckett in her bed.

One night of passion leads to more than they ever expected. Kaitlin ends up pregnant. How will work through this situation? Will Beckett stay by Kaitlin’s side or leave town like he always does when things get tough?

This is a really good story. Both characters were a bit stubborn so it was fun to see how they work through their differences.
