Talk about a double whammy. An executive jet is subjected to two catastrophic events in a row, and has now gone missing. Daniel and Dakota, vacationing in Fiji, find a floating object that Daniel feels came from that plane. The authorities might be interested, but not when they hear about Daniel’s psychic source. In the meantime, half a world away, Sam and Lacey are confronted with a case unlike anything they’ve ever encountered, another double whammy. As they work to tease out the reasons behind multiple ghosts attached to an ordinary housewife, the answers they uncover are too incredible to believe.

Another great read Sam and Lacey have an interesting case to solve. A woman visits Auschwitz and comes home tormented by more spirits than can be counted. She is at her wits' end and is considering drastic measures. Sam and Lace y urge her to see her therapist for clues from her past lives. This helps with why she is being tormented, but does nothing to solve the problem. They must go to the reservation to seek Ben's help to free her from the torment. Meanwhile Dakota and Daniel are off to Fiji on their honeymoon. It is idyllic until a rubber ducky washes ashore and Daniel learns from whence it came. Great use of two parts of the family using b their gifts to answer questions. Highly recommend!
Wow! I am exhausted. What a great read and so well written. Hope grampa is ok as I worry about him. This family is amazing. And always ready to give of their wonderful culture, to others. I love the Native American culture and have incorporated many of their prayers and rituals into my day to day. Thank you for sharing this culture and keeping it alive. Not sure you realize how much your books enlighten us readers and enrich our own lives. You're on a roll...keep going. Thank you.
I like the way you are drawn into a world outside your own. I'm challenged to think outside my normal and most people's normal existence. I feel present on some level and enjoy the time that takes me to the experience I'm reading about. I'm waiting for my next adventure. Please start at the beginning of the series to enjoy, grow, and expand your mind and soul as you read..
Love, love, love that Daniel was brought into this story! Both "walks" were amazing and heart breaking. Possible that Daniel and Dakota might get their own series? As usual, Ms Bowersock created a fantastic story with another glimpse into Navajo beliefs and practices. Looking forward to the next one!
So its now what time? Started, this,at midnight and I JUST had to finish it. Your amazing . the books just drag me into them and I feel I'm there. So when is the next one?
This being named double has more than one reason for its name (at least two, to double up on the doubles). One of them is explained in the description. We actually have two mysteries that are resolved in this book. One of them by Sam Firecloud’s son, Daniel, who has the same ability to communicate with spirits caught between this plain and the next one as his dad. Daniel teams up with his brand new bride while they’re on their honeymoon, just to spice things up a bit. The second mystery is one that Sam and Lacey deal with that fits the normal high level storyline of the other fifty plus books in this series in some ways and in others really changes things up a bit. I’ll say that we’ve got a bonus double plus another bonus that is much bigger than that when compared to the normal cases that Sam and Lacey deal with. As always it was a fast and fun read that kept me guessing and buying into some supernatural stuff that I’d never go for in real life. Every time I read a book in this series I immediately start eagerly anticipating the next, but loving the read I just finished.

I loved this book. It caught my attention and continued to keep my interest for the whole time. I loved the Native American culture and the "Evil Way" ceremony.
