I’m a blogger. He’s a writer.
He was my weakness.
I was his muse.

But then he messaged me,
And his words intoxicated me.
Made me believe in love again.

Made me believe in truth.

"I don't remember the last time I could truly say I loved my husband."

I have to say this book was a definite eye opener of reality. This book could describe a lot of people's lives right this moment. I was totally enraptured in the writing and loved it. It had me feeling connected and frustrated with Ava and her choices. It also had me loving her and feeling her pain of abandonment and feeling the ultimate loneliness.

 photo PicsArt_1437452939345_zpsbqojlecc.jpg

Ava and her husband Alexandre are in a marriage stand still of only existing together. They have lost the love they once had and neither is willing to give in to the other to fix the broken life they are sharing.

"Once upon a time we were so in love....until we weren't."

As their distance grows day by day, Ava, a book blogger comes across an author that shows Ava a little attention. Attention she is longing for. Ryder shows her tid bits of affection that leaves Ava feeling wanted and cherished. With Ava already feeling so alone, the tiny attention Ryder is actually showing her is really nothing. He gives her pieces here and there of what he feels for her but really actually never gives her anything. Her mind is so far gone from her marriage she is able to attach herself to Ryder and his few texts that she can't think straight.

 photo ava_zps7fgb0idb.jpg

What started as flirting leads to obsession for Ava. She has to have Ryder but he holds her at arms length. This drives Ava's already fragile mind into desperation. She does whatever she can to make Ryder happy. He tells her they can't be together until he can have all of her.

Ryder: I want you to live for me. Breathe for me. I want to make you mine.
Ava: Done. Done. Almost.

"I capture all his words in my mind holding them, cherishing them. I know unequivocally, he will be my downfall. My heart is waiting to be broken."

Ava has no idea how true her words really are. As her obsession turn desperate and she has to have Ryder. What she doesn't expect is that Ryder was playing her the entire time for his next book. She was his muse for the entire story.

This breaks Ava....spiraling her into a dark cloud of despair. Her journey of recovery is sad and beautiful at the same time. We not only see Ava learn to live for herself instead of others. We watch her and Alexandre repair the marriage they both had parts in breaking.

Alexandre really grabbed my heart with how he stood by Ava. He really was her rock from a distant while she worked through her issues.

"Sometimes we have to get lost to be found. I love you fiercely Ava, I always have."

Fabulous read!!!

*****Spoilers*****

I was so disappointed in this book and I really wanted to love it. The premise had me intrigued because I haven't read a book with this storyline before and I was excited to see where it went. I actually enjoyed a big chunk of it, but the characters were so wishy-washy and I felt that they lacked emotion in the right areas.

Ava drove me nuts with her neediness, I seriously wanted to shake her. No woman should have to beg for a mans attention that much. I wanted her to be strong and she never was, at least until the very end when my interest had already faded.

Ryder seemed perfect for a minute then BAM. There goes my book fantasy. I was hoping he would redeem himself or that it was all a bad dream. But nope, he's just a cruel POS. Once I realized that his part of the story was over, the book lost me and I ended up skimming.

Alexandre honestly had no impact on me at all, and I was shocked when she went back with him. His character had no emotional attachment to the reader from the very beginning. And then all of the sudden he's mister charismatic swoony guy?? Again, his change came too late for me.

Like I said I really wanted to like this book, I was pulling for it!! But the last 30% left me wanting something completely different. The story went in the wrong direction in my opinion.

This is one of those books that make you think...and feel and cry along with the characters. I felt so deeply connected with the protagonists that I just couldn't put this book down.

 photo Imperfect-Truth-teaser-1_zpsicvpm9ui.jpg

But first things first. Ava is a married woman. Her marriage has led her to a dead-end. Her husband Alexandre is a man controlled by his family. He is no longer interested in her, he lives to please his mother, he ignores Ava to the point where she feels worthless and little.

 photo Imperfect-Truth-teaser-3_zpsptgewlfq.jpg

If I left, would he follow me?
Would he fight?
Would he even notice?

Ava's only escape is her hobby; blogging. She has one of the biggest book blogs out there and she is quite good at what she does. Reading is her escape. The only solution to her boring, stifling reality. Everything changes when she starts talking to Ryder Matthews online. Ryder is a famous writer who specializes in writing dark, dirty erotic books. They form a friendship that slowly but surely rebuilds Ava's self-importance and self-esteem. He makes her feel good about herself, he makes her feel beautiful.

Don't conform… be unique, speak truth. Don’t let them force the real you to hide. From what I’ve come to know in this short time, any change on your part would be an utter travesty. You are perfect Ava.

The elusive writer slithers his way inside Ava's heart and he makes her question everything; her fidelity, her marriage, everything. His identity is a secret but Ava is determined to meet him. When they meet the attraction escalates. Ava has a decision to make. Follow Ryder to the unknown or stay and fight for her marriage to Alexandre.

 photo Imperfect-Truth-teaser-2-2_zpsygjp8els.jpg

The heroine starts to rediscover herself, she starts believing in herself, but sometimes the people who make us do that are also the ones who will ultimately break us. Sometimes we follow people who give us scraps but we end up looking, begging for more. Sometimes the people who seem to cherish us are the worst of them all.

I feel nothing…
I am nothing…
I need to escape from this cage I’m in.

Sometimes the answers are right in front of our eyes. This is what this book is about. I love how the author explores human imperfection and faults. I love how her characters are flawed but extremely likeable. I could connect with them. Ava, Alexandre, Ryder, they all hold a piece that resides in every one of us.
I also love how the story explores the sinister method of manipulation. I found myself drawn to each character's psychological issues. Each character in this book was just...imperfect in a perfect way. Each character taught us a lesson.

1 Minute…
5 Minutes…
10 Minutes…
11 minutes…
12 minutes…
15 minutes…
16 minutes…
I sign onto Facebook. I see him online. I know he is there. I can see him bantering on posts, liking comments, starting new threads. He is active, just not with me. He just chooses not to respond to me. Why does he keep doing this?

The high I feel when he tells me how beautiful I am. How special I am. I know that even though he is busy, eventually he’ll come back. He will reassure me. I need his reassurance.

His gaze penetrates me. Rips me to shreds. Stone. Cold. Barren.

I simply adored the way the author incorporates her messages in her book.
I love how we get multiple points of view in a unique way.

I knew exactly how to play her against herself. How much to give her and how much to take away, so she would give everything to me.

I think this is one of the best debut novels I've read this year. It's one of my favorites for sure. It was an emotional ride. I cried along with Ava at points. I felt her anger, her desperation, her almost tragic need for love and attention. I loved how she worked on her issues, I loved how she was not broken in the end.
The writing amazed me. Ava Harrison has real talent and I feel so lucky that I had the chance to read her debut book early. I totally recommend it to everyone out there. You will love Ava's journey and maybe, like I did, you will learn more about yourself.
Excellent work.
5 Stars from me!

Absolutely devoured this book

So emotional gut wrenchingly done.

Ever read a book where you feel everything the character feels, the anguish they go through hits you in that place were you want to reach out and console and that sinking feeling when you know how its gonna go and you discover you were right but didn't want to be.

This my friends is one of those reads were you will either love it for the authors ability to draw you in or hate it because of the plot.

Brilliantly written.

As a reader , you discover new authors and new books all the time and more often than not sadly they start to blend into one another . However though what does happen is that you will often discover a book and you will pick it up and not want to put it down , you won't want the story to end as you are so engrossed in it and you find yourself loving every part of the book. For me, that was Imperfect Truth by Ava Harrison. I had a feeling I would enjoy it when I saw the teaser about the book blogger and the writer , but it wasn't till I started reading it that I realised how much I would love it and how much it would affect me. This book was amazing and in parts so very accurate. The book starts off with Ava who is married to a wealthy husband and is forced to stay at home , so she creates herself a book blogger and an alter-ego. We discover though that her marriage isn't all roses and sunshine and that she is stuck in what she calls a loveless marriage and her and her husband just don't communicate anymore and her husband lets her mother-in-law treat her like garbage. When one day, author Ryder Matthews - the hottest new Erotic author on the block sends a friends request to Ava , and she accepts. This next part where he PM's her about his new release and she goes on about at least they could get to know her name first - I strongly connected with that as it happens to me all the time and it's one of my pet hates as I feel used as such. What occurs next is that over the majority course of the novel - Ryder and Ava will strike up a friendship and soon become romantically involve - all while she is still with her husband up until she decides to leave her husband for Ryder she will discover the deep dark truth which leads to the title of "Imperfect Truth". Not to ruin the storyline and spoil the excitement for others, I will leave with the parting words that if you love Dark Fiction and books that are thought-provoking and open your mind up to the possibilities of human behaviour , then this is one book you do not want to skip to Pass Go and Collect your $200 as Imperfect Truth should be on the top of everyone's May 2015 release reading list

I was drawn to this book because of the heroine being a blogger. It's the little things that pull you in. I have to admit, I didn't see the twist coming and that was surprising but once again, for me I felt that this was lacking that character connection that I crave when reading. I also felt that forgiveness was given way too easily and this didn't read right to me bearing in mind the character that we were led to believe the husband was. I know people can change but it was a 180.

My 5 Star Imperfect Perfect Review

This story completely shredded me.
We all know an Ava or was an Ava.

One of the best things about blog tours is the privilege of reading ARC's from new authors and their debut stories. And sometimes you get a story so profound, so real, so fraught with emotion, it stays with you for days after.

Imperfect Truth is that story.

Amazing debut for the author.

I am so torn writing this review. My first instinct is honestly not to like this book. It’s the kind of book that makes me want to scream and hate the heroine, to just close it and go back to my life. The thing is, I couldn't seem to do any of that. I started, and then I continued to read until it was over. When I say it was like a train wreck I couldn't look away from, please do not think that is a comment on the writing or the author. It was just that the subject matter was so wrecked.

Ava is not just dissatisfied with her marriage, she is genuinely depressed. She has backed herself into a corner in life, by not standing up for what she wants, what she needs. Ava goes outside her marriage to engage in a mostly online chatting affair with another man, one who seems to give her that thrill she is lacking. As she becomes more invested in him, she grows more manic in their relationship, and it moves to the real world.

The turn the story took sent me for a bit of a loop, and it was a little difficult to swallow, but the outcome was so realistic I carried on. Here, Ava makes her first mature, adult decisions, to fix herself without expecting a man to ride in and do it for her. To attend therapy, to become her own person, to learn to be happy again. To actually own up to her mistakes and learn from them. This was refreshing; there wasn't an instant, ‘Oh, it's all better now’ happily ever after.

Watching Ava and her husband learn to act like adults and actually start to communicate was great. During this second half, the tone of the book changed dramatically though, and it was difficult to read about the struggle sometimes.

Overall, I think the fact that I read this through in one sitting without skimming, and was completely invested in the characters makes this a 4 star read. It was an emotional train wreck, but since I'm pretty sure that was the point, it definitely gets credit for succeeding in making me tense, angry, and hurt right along with the characters. Just…don't go into this with your eyes closed. Although it is about cheating, about depression, and about making difficult and sometimes wrong decisions, it's also about redemption, the importance of communication, and love withstanding trials. ~ George, 4 stars

This was quite a story!
I saw the plot twist coming but it didn't kill the story for me because this was much more than that.
What I took from this was - Loving and forgiving yourself. Second chances. Trust, Patience, Understanding and COMMUNICATION. I really enjoyed this

This is one of those books that as soon as I saw it in my kindle, I couldn't put it down until I finished it. ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
I had a feeling that this one would be good, but now I must say that it is not good, is EXCELLENT!!!

Its not easy to maintain a marriage when love, hope, friendship between the couple fades away... more important when communication is nonexistent. I hated Alexandre! I hated the way he dismissed Ava, never talking with her, never acknowledging her... with this little big mistake a marriage can fail! Its not easy to want attention from the man  we love and never have it, after years a woman becomes indifferent to her husband and when attention comes from the outside, things can lead to another when temptation is always around.

Everything changes the day Ava, a blogger meets Ryder, an author. With his words he enthralled her and she starts falling and obsessing for him.

This book, is about seeking the truth inside you. Self discovering, find self love. Acknowledge that you might not be perfect into the eyes of others but learning that there isn't anyone more perfect than you.

I wouldn't be surprised to find Avas and Ryders around in real life!

The way people seek attention is incredible, it wouldn't surprise me either if this story was indeed a true story, and if it is, is heartbreaking...  and a eye opener!

What an incredible debut novel!!!

Wow! Talk about not being able to put down a book… this one is simply hypnotic and mesmerizing.

Did I LOVE this book? Yes! Did I HATE this book? Absolutely, yes, a thousand times over!

Imperfect Truth is a fresh look at the needs that drive each of us. It’s a character driven story that ultimately shows us that the key to happiness looks each one of us straight in the eye every day when we look into the mirror. Happiness lies within yourself and not others.

The depth of this book is wonderful – the characters, the writing, and the story itself are not easy to come by. The writing is beautiful and eloquent; the characters are real and endearing. The story is emotional and realistic. Ava Harrison didn’t just tell me a story. She made me FEEL the story in every cell of my body.

Imperfect Truth is a book I certainly lost myself in. It made my smile. It made me cry. It infuriated me. The emotion this book elicits from me makes me love and hate it that much more.

With such amazing writing and a well developed story, it's hard to believe this is a debut! Seriously stunning!!!

I'm still having a hard time believing this is a debut novel. I was completely captivated by the story and the amount of feelings the author was able to portray through her characters. I felt as though I picked up someone's diary/journal and was reading their personal story. It was very raw and painful at times, but the beauty was in the journey and discovery. It was so easy to relate to because you have either experienced a similiar situation or you know someone that has. This isn't just a story about failing relationships & finding love, it's so much more. It's about discovering who you really are and loving yourself despite your flaws. I am so glad I stumbled upon this book today. I can't wait to read more from this author.

This was a fabulous debut novel.. I devoured it..

Full review here..

I felt the struggle, the heartbreak and wanted the sweet refuge!
It felt real and raw and the story line was relate able. I wanted Alexandre to pull
his head out of his ass and grow a pair.. I wanted Ava to stand up for herself and
see the reality for what she knew deep down it was. I wanted Ryder the narcissist
to get what he ultimately deserved..
I got to see it all play out!!

Let me start off with the dedication that is located at the beginning of the book.

Dedicated to the ones who broke me.
Without you, I would never have had the strength to rebuild.

This. This dedication speaks volumes. I feel as if Ava write Imperfect Truth from a personal experience, and to be able to take a personal experience, and turn it into this beautiful, heart breaking piece of art, is just astounding. Imperfect Truth is a reread for me, and is in the top 10 of my books for 2015. This was such a great read. It was emotional. It was heart felt. I cried, I laughed. Hell, I even fell in love with Ryder Matthews, and believed that he was going to make Ava's life what she was searching for. Oh, was I wrong. I was so painfully wrong.

Ava is a married woman. Her marriage, at one time, a perfect marriage, is falling apart at the seams. Alex, her once loving, and attentive husband has slipped away from her. Being controlled by her mother-in-law has left Ava in a bad place. It has ruined her, and her husband for her mother in law to continue to push them away from each other. However, her husband refuses to see the truth in it all, and does nothing to remedy the situation.

When Ryder Matthews contacts Ava, there is no doubt in her mind that something is blossoming from this new found friendship. Or is there? Ryder Matthews takes Ava in, makes her believe that she is everything to him. The twist that comes in the middle of the book is devastating. If you don't have a miniature anxiety attack over what happens to Ava, I feel bad for you. Ava Harrison did a wonderful job bringing the emotions to the page for the reader.

Ava has to pick herself up after a close call. She shuts everyone out, and its a good thing for her in the long run. Sometimes you have to lose everyone in order to find yourself. And, if they aren't there when you do find yourself, they were never really there to begin with.

I felt that Imperfect Truth spoke volumes for things that are not what they seem to be. The conflict between Ava, and Alex felt so real, and I felt as if I were there in the room with them in that awkward silence that occurs when a couple kind of slips away from each other. I was excited when Ryder messaged Ava, and called her baby. My skin crawled when the twist in the plot came to light, and things unraveled from there. I cannot say enough about this book, and I sincerely hope that you one-click it.

**JODIE'S 4.5 STAR REVIEW**

“You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be you.”

“I’m not perfect. I’m perfectly flawed. A beautiful painting from afar, but up close you can see my cracks and bruises.”

I don’t think I have ever thought a book was so real before. I don’t think I have ever felt myself in a book so much as this one, this one is a story that no matter where you are in your life you can relate, we all have been “Ava” at a certain time in our lives however most of us don’t have a “Ryder” that feeds and makes the cracks in our marriage, in our life more noticeable.

“Once upon we were so in love …. Until we weren’t.”

The book starts with you meeting Ava. She is everything that a lot of us see in ourselves. Ava is a wife, an avid reader who has found success in blogging and she is a wife who has lost that spark with her husband and really, just lost that spark with her life. She is in a routine, the routine of life so many of us fall into. Then it happens she meets an author, an author who sets off a spark that puts her on a ride that she doesn’t even realize she is on until it is too late. Ryder…

“Whenever Ryder is around I feel naked before him. It’s as if he can see the depth of my soul past all the walls I’ve built up. He can see all my insecurities.”

Ryder is a man in a world run by mostly women. He’s this popular erotic romance MALE author who knows how to manipulate with his words. Just like his books take women away so do his words take Ava away as he speaks to her.

“Ryder Matthews is holding me prisoner, and I don’t want him to release me. Ever.”

I adored this book and at times I tried to deny how brutally honest this book was. Ava took real life and created a story that completely controlled your emotions. It made you realize how you are not alone on this path of life. Everyone messes up, everyone feels like you feel at times. It’s all about your recovery, how you overcome the “imperfect truths”. .

“The truth of our character is defined by our defects.”

FYI I am still standing behind my claim this is all truth, we all have met the “author”, we all have been in the situation and one day maybe we will see the truth behind the keyboard.

“I secretly decide that all male authors are really female trying to cash in on female adoration to increase sales.”

When I saw a teaser for Imperfect Truth, I knew it was a book I had to read. A blogger/author romance with a sort of love triangle, yeah that basically screams my name.

We all know I love cheater books, because to me the emotions are super real, plus it’s something that happens in everyday life. Even if I myself have never experienced cheating, it’s something a lot of people can relate to. Usually when I read a cheater book, im always rooting for the “other” guy. With Imperfect Truth that was the case. I hated Alexandre for the way he treated Ava. To be honest, I thought he was the one who was cheating.

While there is cheating (in my opinion) in this book, to me it was more cheating on an emotional level rather than a physical one. But cheating is cheating at the end of the day. It’s still not a book I consider a full out cheater book. To me the more I read Imperfect Truth, it turned out to be a book about finding yourself. Going through a lot of bad, to finally want to see some good.

Ava was in a marriage, if you could even call it that, and was beyond unhappy. Her husband, Alexandre, paid no mind to her whatsoever, and let people treat her like crap. He never supported her beyond financially, and it was taking a huge toll on Ava. It wasn’t until Ava got a message from a well-known author, that she started to feel things. This author made her feel what she hasn’t felt in a long time. Ava started to feel cared for, loved even.

So before I spoil anything I have to stop. What I will say is I wasn’t expecting the plot twist. I totally started this book thinking, ooohhh a cheater book with an author and blogger, yay. But seriously, it was so much more than that. The plot twist was executed perfectly. Ava, you are a great writer. I felt the emotions your characters were going through that were etched in your words.

Imperfect Truth is the story of learning to love yourself, even though you’re not perfect, and knowing that someone out in this world will love and accept your imperfections.

Imperfect Truth was a great read, I definitely recommend it.

I think this book was amazingly written. I think if this book was read by more husbands and wives, a lot of heartache like this could be avoided for many couples. The author did an incredible job with the story-line and she portrayed the characters in the story brilliantly. There was, just enough mystery, drama, intrigue, sorrow and heartfelt love sprinkled in just the right doses throughout this story to completely captivate me. I could not stop reading this book, even when my eyes were burning and screaming for me to shut them last night. I was NOT going to sleep without finding how this story was going to end. There were a couple of quotes in this story that will stay with me for the rest of my life! The first one being, "The road to forgiving yourself is the hardest journey to take." There is so much truth to that statement. And the second one, which is the one that affected me the most is, "Sometimes we have to get lost, to be found." I think this is a book that Mothers should buy for all of their daughters and sons when they decide to embark into the arduous journey that comes with marriage. Marriage is more than saying I do and living together and building a life and family with each other. There are many ups and downs, highs and lows in a marriage but there is nothing that a couple cannot overcome, and this story proves it. There is so much more than infidelity to this book. Maybe before couple's are allowed to get a marriage license they should both be required to read this book and then have one session with a couples counselor to discuss it. Maybe then people wouldn't feel that marriage is disposable and that it shouldn't be tossed away at the first sign of trouble. Also if every household had this book in it on a shelf, maybe issues would never get to this point before a couple is able to apply the logic in this book mend the little tears in their relationship before time can make that little tear into a huge hole. This is Ms. Harrison's debut novel and it is one she can definitely take pride in. Amazing job!

You know that feeling you get when you catch a glimpse of a beautiful teaser coming from a new book that you hadn’t heard of yet? The, “Oh my god, what is this book, and when can I get my hands on it?”, feeling? Yeah, I totally had that when I saw the Imperfect Truth teaser. And come to find out it was from a debut Author? Even better! It drew me in, and I had to know what this book was about. Ava Harrison was kind enough to offer me an ARC of Imperfect Truth and as soon as it landed on my kindle, I sat down to read it, only stopping for work and for maybe like 2 minutes of sleep. Ha!

Imperfect Truth is about Ava Harrison, book blogger, and wife to a very wealthy man, Alexandre Harrison, whom is constantly under his families thumb. Ava is scrutinized daily, and when she starts feeling the inadequacy take her over, in comes Ryder. Mysterious writer. Ava starts down a path with Ryder that makes her question so many things in her life. She feels free, she feels like she matters, she feels beautiful. That is, until it all comes crashing down.

This book is so many things. The story line is completely original. I have never seen it done before, which makes it highly coveted in the book world. In an industry where things get over done sometimes 3, 4 times over; reading a fresh new story line is amazing.

Imperfect Truth is also very real to everyday life situations. The issues of inadequacy, the feelings of hopelessness and the not knowing how to deal with ones one imperfections that the heroine tackles, are things that others deal with every day as well. Harrison does an amazing job telling a story that is obviously near and dear to her heart.

Everyone needs to snatch up this book and move it to the top of your TBR. Read it immediately. I absolutely loved it, and I know that you will as well. Thank you so much Ava, for a beautiful, remarkable book!

I'm so happy that a very thoughtful book friend introduced me to this great book and talented author. Ava Harrison has written an amazingly real, completely relatable story that myself and so many readers can connect to in so many ways.

Have you ever felt lost, unappreciated, disconnected, like your never good enough?
Have you ever felt that your spouse/partner no longer acknowledges you, gives you any praise or recognition, shows you any affection?
Have you ever come to a point in your relationship where you felt there is no communication, no spark or romance, as if the love you once had has withered away?
I know I have experienced most of these things and in Imperfect Truth Ava experiences all of this and so much more. We find Ava and Alexandre at a point in their marriage where he's absorbed by his overbearing mother and family owned business causing him to be cold and unfeeling, leaving Ava feeling alone, neglected, and always seeing herself as imperfect and flawed. All of this pushes Ava to look for comfort and validation elsewhere and when Ryder, an erotic author connects with her through her blog and shows her attention she yearns for Ava is intrigued and drawn to him.

This book is so much more than a relationship struggling, romance, or a sexy guy, it's learning to see the imperfections in yourself and realizing that all those imperfections are what make you perfectly you and that a marriage/relationship requires communication and effort from both people and when that is lacking it leaves an opening for outsiders to get in your heart and mind on so many different levels even if your not looking for it.

Imperfect Truth for me is about imperfect people on an imperfect journey that will lead to a most PERFECT destination.

I very nearly didn't get this book because I'm not a big fan of cheating but all the comments I read in social media had me intrigued. OMG! I'm so glad I bought it, to say this book is amazing wouldn't do it justice and if I could give it 20stars I would. This story is so raw, emotional heartbreaking, sad and gripping. It has taken me on the most incredible emotional journey, I've cried, I got angry, I shouted at my kindle and had a lump in my throat for most of it. This story is so beautifully written I felt I was experiencing every emotion and pain and devastation that Ava was feeling. This book has filled me with questions but has also helped understand that sometimes things are not black and white. Ava you are an incredibly talented author and I thank you for giving me this wonderful read.

5++++++ Stars.

If I could I'd give this book 10+ stars. It was simply amazing, beautifully written, emotional, sad, makes you think & I had a lump in my throat almost all the way through this book. What a stunning first book. Wow, I've never read a book like this. Ava, was amazing. Alexandre, made me mad most of the book but in the end l loved him. Ryder, don't get me started. I had a bad feeling about him, never trusted him. Loved Jules, everyone needs a Jules. Highly recommend perhaps one of the best book I'll read in 2015........

Amazing

Imperfections make life worth living. We all have imperfections that we don't want to face but Ava's are continuously shoved in her face. In this emotionally earth shattering story Ava is pushed from one painful extreme to the next. Having a husband who doesn't notice her she seeks refuge online the way many do today. However, her refuge could lead to her downfall. Will the mysterious man be what she needs or will she save herself? Only reading this amazing story will you find the answer.

Brilliant Concept I loved the idea. Ava is miserable her husband who once was amazing isn't so much any more distracted detached and under his family's influence . She's a blogger a book fanatic and we meet Ryder well what happens next is well played and strategic. I somewhat figured out what was happening. I found myself yelling at my kindle and that's a good thing! I'm vey happy with the outcome. Good read.

Beautiful debut

No one is perfect but learning to accept your imperfections is an uphill battle.

I found myself turning the pages because of Ava's journey of self discovery. I felt so much of this story in my bones, in my gut and in my heart and while reading, I compared myself to Ava like many women probably have. A big thank you to the author for her beautiful words and for writing an imperfect character to help us embrace our own flaws.

I wasn't sure what to expect from this book... But I really enjoyed this story. It was different.. I couldn't put it down.
I figured Ryder out from the get go and Alexandre frustrated me but in the end I didn't dislike him.
But Ava.. Poor Ava... Her desperation was frustrating but at the same time I understood where she was coming from.
This is a must read! I definitely recommend it
