Angel gets a crash course in Gran culture...
And winds up with a thorough appreciation of her position as slave...

It didn't matter if he wanted to hurt me, He'd already destroyed me when he took me from Cesar. Physical pain was nothing more than pleasure to my twisted nervous system.

Ripped from her happy little reprieve with Cesar, Angel finds herself returned to her position as concubine to Captain Cronin, the ruthless pheromone addicted captain of The Gran.

All she has to do is survive for ninety days and she'll be able to see Cesar once more. Luckily, Angel was genetically engineered to survive. The wounds inflicted by the Captain heal at an astonishing speed. A lesser being would surely be ripped to shreds and die from their injuries, but not Angel.

Survival is easy,
Keeping her loneliness at bay is much more difficult...

The best thing about this book?
Captain Cronin's ship docks with a Gran space-colony and we get an up-close and personal lesson in Gran culture - It was mesmerizing.



Seeing the exotic and technologically advanced Gran society through Angel's eyes was an absolute joy.

Angel is brought to the negotiating table as translator, though it's obvious that the majority of The Gran are less than thrilled about her presence. She winds up reluctantly making friends with a young Gran male and later discovers that he's the son of The Gran Emperor. When a twist of fate has Angel playing rescuer to the crown prince, she's invited to stay in the royal palace.

Angel's only knowledge of Gran culture came from limited human databases and what little she gleaned while sexually satisfying Captain Cronin. Needless to say, the royal family are able to provide a wealth of information.

The Emperor, his wife, and two children are quite taken with Angel.

Can she convince the Emperor to grant her her freedom?
Will she return to her beloved Cesar without a tracking collar firmly fastened around her neck?

I received a free advance reading copy for my honest review.

This was a great adventure with a girl that I am coming to like more and more. I had thought of Angel as childlike, which she was when this started, but she is maturing the more she is exposed to the world outside of Nugene. I like that the characters are becoming more clearly drawn as things go forward from book to book. The world they inhabit is more complex than you would at first think, but as you jet across the galaxy you see that not only the humans have a strange culture happening the Gran have their own way of viewing the world that may seem different but is actually quite similar to human culture in many respects. Everything is continuing to move forward smoothly giving a great trip through the cosmos as well as into how Angel is able to survive.

Captain Cronin comes for Angel on Cesar's ship and is not planning on leaving her behind. Angel has had nice respite from dealing with overbearing Cat but has no choice but to return to him if she wants Cesar and his men to live. Before they depart Angel helps Cesar set up negotiations for trade and gives herself another chance to see him. Then it is the long ride to the Gran home world she must endure as Cronin continues to use her.

The Emperor and Empress are very impressed with Angel and invite her to stay with them while she is on their home world, keeping her away from the depraved Cronin. She becomes close to both their daughter and son who make her separation from Cesar at least bearable. But then she is once again on the ship for the trip for the negotiations and though she looks forward to seeing her man she still must deal with the insatiable Cat on the journey. Angel has endured a great deal since being taken from her home, how much more will she need to endure.

Angel has become a strong character who is able to work through whatever is tossed her way. The sex is usually very hot, whether inter species or just straight. The story pulls you in every time because you really have to find out what is going to happen with this woman as her intergalactic odyssey continues. It just keeps getting better and better. Do not miss this series!

**The title of the book I have seen on Amazon is Angel 6.0: Enslaved, I can only assume that this was changed after the fact.

I've really enjoyed this Space Opera series from Mr. Luedke. I think what I enjoy most is how he teases the reader into thinking everything will be ok when it's totally not. I'm like, 'Yea this is good.' To 'Oh no this sucks.' But it's so good that I keep reading. So I guess I do it to myself. Still, you're messing with my emotions!! Not really. He does satisfy with an awesome story, hot as fuck sex scenes, & very colorful characters. Literally.
Angel is forced to go back to Captain Cronin under the pretense of being translator during the negotiations of The Gran Trading Guild & the industrialists aka Pirates. Although Angel is in love with Cesar, she belongs to Cronin. So you see the problem here, right? I especially liked how we got introduced to new characters. Chilla, I was so glad Angel finally made a friend of the same gender. They helped each other out to get through Cronin's abusive treatment of them both. Ladies, let's stick together. Women power & all that shit. The Royal family. The Emporer & Empress with their son & daughter, ALL had such an infatuation with Angel. Especially Rollick, the young Prince. Hopefully we'll get some more insight on THAT later on. So basically what it all boils down to is Angel & Cesar finding a way to get Angel free from Cronin. But that fucking collar has got to go!!
Will Angel ever be free from Cronin?? Will Cesar still want her after he finds out the truth?? I guess we'll just have to wait & see, bitches!!

The third episode in the fascinating story of Angel of Nugene is here. Picking up from where Escape leaves off, Angel now negotiates between Captain Cronin and her lover Cesar, for trade between the Gran and humans. Taken away again , Angel finds herself again pleasuring the captain until they are back in his home planet, where she is presented at Court and catches the eye of the Gran’s Emperor young Son Rollick.
This episode is much slower than the previous two and we get to find out more about the Gran and their culture from Angel’s stay with the family who now views her as a stepping stone to trade with humans and she learns more about her position with Cronin and what her fate looks like.. Unfortunately everything good comes to an end and she’s soon back on Cronin ship for the meeting with Cesar, but fortunately this time he’s brought a female concubine to serve him or so she thinks not realising that even with this female cat he still wants her to continue with him. After watching his treatment of the Chilla, the women bond after a rocky start and endure together until they are back at Cesar’s ship where negotiations for the first trade arrangement is made and Angel can see her lover once more. Unfortunately Cesar is mega suspicious and Angel has her work cut out for her in dealing with her human lover and getting him back on side.

'Angel 6.0: Salvage' starts just after 'Angel 6.0: Escape' finished, I do suggest you read this series in order, starting with 'Concubine'. You wont be dissapointed!

This book was a little slower than the previous 2, I think Travis was giving us a breather in the form of Angel learning more of the intricut lives of The Gran. Although it was slower in action & sex... I found myself still gripped by the book & craving more once I hit the last word. How does Travis do this?? Keep us in suspense about what is going to happen next, whilst giving us a book that is so dark, twisted & absolutely f*#@ed up? I AM HOOKED!! Bring on the next installment of Angel's story, I'm not sure I could ever get enough.

Oh my, poor Angel can never catch a break...sigh

I cringed, cried and (occasionally) smiled my way through this book.

The tone was somewhat lighter than the previous two stories and there was less violence and fewer sex scenes.

What we did have was more insight into the world of the Gran and into Angel herself. Despite being what we would call an Android she is all too human, with our emotions,failings and fears.

She is also seeking what we all seek, to be loved for what she is.

Despite the lighter tone and more contemplative mood the writing was just as crisp and the story arc progressed at just the right pace.

The plot is nicely set up for #4.

Guilty, Guilty, Guilty PLEASURE!

Enter one badass GML (genetically modified lady), hatched in a lab, with the secret hopes that she would become the next step in the human evolutionary ladder, and humanity's answer to combating the race of technologically and physically superior humanoid cats - the Gran - who are plaguing our existence.

All Angel really wants to do is dance around space in zero gravity and find a man who can fill the hole up, in her lonely, solitary heart, with love - well and maybe fill a few other holes while he's at it... But, instead, she gets passed around from one controlling, manipulative man to the next, treated like property, and way underutilized and underestimated. She spends an awful lot of time with one particular Gran Captain... ummmm... improving interspecies relations - hence the guilty pleasure - wink, wink.

However, Angel is more than just a concubine, and this is the story of how she forces human and alien alike to understand that she does matter - a lot.

This intriguing story plays out over several manageable-length episodes - three so far, but with more on the way (hopefully very soon!).

The characters are three dimensional, the plot is fast paced, tight, and action packed. It's also filled with more than enough scintillating, titillating scenes of debauchery to keep your palms sweaty and your heart rate speedy. Not to mention there are enough massive members to satisfy even the most demanding Size Queens!

I just finished reading the third, and most recent, installment in Travis Luedke's Angel 6.0 Series, 'Enslaved', and can't wait to get my fix of the final two episodes (Pursuit & Emissary), and to see how it all turns out for Angel!

Angel's story continues in the most intense fashion. Captain Cronin is adamant in taking his property with him, but not without first securing a possible deal that could be quite lucrative. His addiction to Angel and his use of her increases, as her translations prove to be what’s needed to close the gap in communications between the mighty Gran and the Humans. Knowing she will never be free of the Captain, Angel finds ways to hold out hope that one day there may be a way. And meeting Gran royalty was unexpected, and yet...if not in true Angel style and a little heart-stopping action, manages to earn their trust and a special place in their home. She learns even more about their culture and forms a special connection to them. But ultimately she is Cronin's property. With the addition of a female Gran on the voyage to the space station, Angel will show that sister-hood can be formed even in the most intimate and intense situations, that even race can't deny. Captain Cronin is up to his usual debauchery and kinky-cat-nip, that even two women have a hard time keeping him satisfied.

Every installment of Angel's story just keeps getting better and better. From the revelations of Gran culture to the inner workings of the Captain himself. The journey is fast-paced and full of heightened emotions that crawl through the pages. I love the fact that as the journey progresses, you get a real FEEL for the characters and can VIEW the different space stations or ports-of-call. Can't wait to see what happens next with Angel and her time with the Gran...and Pirates!

Okay, WOW. I can't believe Angel just keeps getting better and better. Angel again has lost her love to a violent death, but by a miracle has found him again. Sort of. She has been rescued by men associated with her dead lover, Jason. But she had to fight with everything she had in her to escape The Gran. She now finds herself with space pirates who, now that the person they came to rescue is dead, just want to go home. One hitch, they don't know how to get there. Angel tells them how they can do it; it's their one chance and it's a long shot and a long way. They dig in for the long and dangerous trip. Meanwhile her undeniable attraction to their leader has her falling in love, but he's not making it easy for her. Again she keeps the truth of what she is from her new love for fear of losing him. They're so close to home, but not her home, when what they fear the most happens. They are caught by the same Captain of the ship she escaped from and he will stop at nothing to get her back. But she's saved at the last minute by another Gran and becomes friends with the Gran leader and his family. But how long can that last how long will that keep her safe from the sexual deviant, the Captain. She learns your never safe from your enemies and is once again enslaved by the same Gran Captain, who has become even more mad by his sexual needs. Will her new love be able to save her before it's too late. Well get the heck up and go get this book because your going to love this Angel more than before. Travis, don't know how you do it, but keep on doing it. Can't wait to see what happens next. Whooyaaa!

What's a girl to do?

The Captain has tracked her and wants her back, she is HIS! Angel has no choice, but to submit in order to keep the human's on the ship alive. A meeting between the two captains results in traveling to me the Gran Emperor and Empress. She is revered as a 'pet' to their children. But once that wears off, she must return to the Captain. While she was with the Emperor's children, she learned about their culture and the high hand a concubine has. The Captain brings a new female onto the ship, a new concubine. Can Angel and this female come together? Or will jealous split them? Is there enough room on the ship for two females?

I love where this series is going. The novella's are fast pace and keep your interest the entire way through. The sex is great too. I'm anxious to see if Angel can worm her way out of this trouble? Or if she just keeps digging herself deeper in a hole.

In episode III Enslaved Angel is back in the clutches of Captain Cronin. Through her and Cesar’s fast thinking they convince Cronin trade might be possible with Angel as a translator and negotiator. Cronin insists Angel needs to be with him to learn more of the language and customs of his people. Torn from her lover Cesar’s side Angel fears the worst. Once back on the Cat’s home world she falls into the hands of the Emperor and her adventure there shows her an entirely different view of the Cat world. Will Angel escape Captain Cronin and his barbaric desires? Will Angel ever see Cesar again? In Enslaved you are going to learn more of the Cats and their world and find out a lot more about who Angel 6.0 really is. Read Enslaved and find out answers. I loved this part of the story and have to say you won’t want to miss out get Angel 6.0 Enslaved now.

I was given a copy by the author for an honest review. I had not read the previous 2 so I quickly bought and read them. Each episode is a nice little course and I can see full satisfaction when it is all done.

Angel 6.0 Enslaved, covers genres of many of the books I read, and Travis Luedke is dong a fabulous job of telling a good sci fi story while mixing in great kinky erotic writing. I actually care about the story line and the characters, they are getting more developed as the story goes on. In this episode we get to know more about The Gran (the aliens holding Angel) and discover their good and their flaws. You come to see their (for lack of a better word) humanity. But soon Angel is back on Cronin’s ship. All in all a very enjoyable romp amd I look forward to the next episode.

She strives to just belong and to obtain her freedom. In Enslaved, we get a more in depth look at the Gran, alien Catlike species. They are not as dark and twisted as a race as the Captain's activities would have us believe. Will Angel be able to pull off the trading agreements she has promised on both sides? Will the Emperor of Gran find a way to free her from the Captain? Will Cesar beat him to it? What does Angel do next? Keep reading and find out!

This series just keeps getting better and better. I am not writing a synopsis of the book just read the blurb.

I just knew things were getting better for Angel and then boom Travis throws a curve in the story. The storyline and character development is so amazing. There are twists and turns I never saw and was completely enthralled reading this book. I cannot wait till the next book.

Travis Luedke has become one of my favorite authors. He never disappoints me with his books. Thank you Travis for another great read!!

The repetition at the beginning, while understood, is a bit of a turn off for me. It's just something that bugs me personally. That said, once I got past all that it lived up to my expectations! It's exciting to see what these characters can and are willing to endure to gain what they want. By then ending I was wishing there were more, even though I know there will be more to come. Can't wait to see what happens in the next one.

Angel finds out that there really is love and caring in life. She arrives at a Gran station were the Emperor and family live.After saving the Prince's life she is taken into their family where she is not viewed as a concubine/slave.
However after a month or so Angel finds herself on board the Captain's ship once again.However this time there is a concubine established on board. Where does she go from here? I can't wait.

Every piece of Angel's story just makes me want more!! I was not sure when I started reading these but now I'm so glad I did!! These are amazing!! From seeing inside the Gran culture, meeting new charters, and just the fleshing out this world. As always it's fast-paced and full of action! I was on pins to know what Angel was going to get into, now I wait on pins for more!!! I cannot wait!!

I received Angel 6.0 Escape free for an honest review. To give a truly honest review I also purchased one and three of this series.

Spoiler alert!

Upside~ Sci-Fi at it's finest/darkest! The story starts out great Angel being ripped from her home and everyone she knows and loves gone. Captured by some nine foot cat aliens and drug around the Galaxy. Meets Jason for five seconds and she's in "love".
Then in the second part of the series she's still flying around the galaxy's. Still in love. Still getting her kicks off as the Captains cat nip. But then..... Here comes big brother and he's come to save the day and that's when lil brother kicks the bucket. Yes sad boo hoo. But that's when you finally (after waiting and waiting and yet more waiting) really get to see just how bad ass 6.0 super human is. She kicks some major butt and Travis conveyed it beautifully in word. You were there. You saw it. You felt it.
Then we move on to this the third series and now we're in "love again" with big brother. Ripped away again. Traveling the galaxy again. Meet the emperor (not really sure the relevance of this yet) back to the galaxy to be a glorified interpreter. Left again waiting for something cool to happen another scene or something that reminds the reader that she's more than a sex toy. She has strength and power but never given opportunity to do anything but shout obscenities to the captain.

Downside ~

Rachel Orlin shouting obscenities for Angel comical at best. Her rendition of this series really makes it hard to listen too. So I went and purchased the Kindle five book box set.

Over all it's a great story. Travis is really on to something here, he just needs to insert a few reminders on just how special Angel is. Or rewrite that she's just an average worker drone. Then you'll expect much less of her.

This time around Angel finds herself in the company of the Royal Family of Gran. While she finds new allies and even friends, she still ends up at the hands of her captor. Having to balance and translate for two sides is difficult and Angel is still trying to find someone to love her for herself....Heading off to read the next one.
