I was beyond delighted to receive an ARC copy of this book. Ever since the first instalment (Ash and Thorn)left me questioning everything and desperate for more, I have been counting down the days until I could return to The Claimed Trilogy . I’m so pleased to say Want & Will did not disappoint.
From beginning to end, the tension is relentless. We return to Ash and Elias, with their dynamic explored even further in ways that constantly keep you on edge.
This book delves into the blurred lines between choice, manipulation and desire. Packed with psychological tension, dark humour and well-placed spice, it leaves you questioning not only the characters but your own observations of human nature. Once you start reading, you have no choice but to keep turning the pages as Ash fights to survive the life she chose.
The character development is another standout. I loved that Ash retained the personality that made her so compelling in the first book while also revealing new layers to her character. As for Elias… this man will be my end. Once again, he is the MVP of the entire book. The emotional roller coaster he took me on over such a short page count was honestly incredible.
The pacing is outstanding, the imagery is vivid, the plot is gripping and every element, including the spice, feels purposeful rather than excessive. Everything works together to create a thriller-esque book that blends psychological suspense with dark romance, resulting in a book that is impossible to put down. Nothing feels right, everything is tense and I loved every second

I was so excited for Want & Will, book two in The Claimed Trilogy, and I was counting down the days until I could finally read it. I’m so grateful to the author for trusting me with an ARC copy before release.
After finishing Ash & Thorn, I was left desperate for more, and Want & Will delivered everything I was hoping for—and then some.
This book is intense from beginning to end. Every chapter had me completely gripped, and I genuinely couldn’t put it down. If you enjoyed Ash & Thorn, Want & Will is going to blow you away. Before going into the actual review, I want to take a moment to appreciate the growth of the author in terms of storytelling and voice. Well done!
Now. Ash and Elias… wow.
Ash has grown so substantially from book 1 to book 2, her voice is clearer, darker, more determined. The uncertainty at the back of her mind through AT gently fades, bringing out someone stronger, safer and louder. I really, really enjoyed reading her internal monologues, the way she feels and thinks. A really strong FMC.
And then there is Elias. I’m sorry, but I need an Elias in my life. The safety, control and devotion he shows to Ash is incredible. He shows that it’s not about fear nor control, but true trust and respect. The way he cares for her, learns her routines, respects her boundaries. A true shadow daddy.
I would give this book ten stars if I could. The story is brilliantly built with a writing style that keeps you hooked until the very end.
