Every. Single. Time.

Brooke Reign is a master at plot twists and cliffhangers. I thought I had a clue where she was going in The Frayed Strings. But I was wrong. SO WRONG.

This book continues the journey of Livianna, Callum, and Jaxon. Two men in love with the same woman…a woman who is missing the past five years of her life. How the men choose the path forward with her is what interests me the most. Is it a case of selfish versus selfless? Who truly has Livianna’s best interests in mind?

I was at the 50% mark when I started reading late this afternoon. Having uninterrupted reading time was wonderful, UNTIL I flipped the page and saw “A Note From Brooke” at the top of the next page.
I was stunned.
I actually flipped my Kindle pages back and forth, as if more of the story would magically appear.
TO my dismay, it did NOT.
How could it be over so quickly?
I wasn’t ready.

One thing that has me in love with this series is the fact that the author isn’t afraid to have six books revolving around the same main characters. She creates plot lines and characters that need time to evolve, instead of taking shortcuts. I also love that there is no need for me to reread before each new release, because it all comes back to me once I dive into the new book.

I have theories. I know who I want her to end up with by the end of the series, but now I’m worried due to the author note at the end of the book. I am already getting anxious about what Brooke Reign will do in book six, The Fallen Stars.

Wow! Brooke continues to prove she's the queen of cliffhangers. Even though I know to expect them, each one still leaves me stunned. Her stories pull you in from the very first page and keep you hooked until the end, only to leave you wondering what will happen next. And I also absolutely that we meet characters from her other series (The Lucky Rival Series which is also absolutely amazing and highly recommend that series as well)!

Livianna’s starting to get her memories back and at the same time, Cash and Jaxon must work together to try to save the woman they both love and figure out who is the monster in the shadows before it’s too late.

The story has some unexpected twists and turns. One major development left me a little disappointed, but I don’t want to risk revealing any spoilers. I’ll simply say this: I’m still firmly on Team Jaxon!

I’m not prepared for what is going to happen in the next and final installment of this series but I absolutely can’t wait to read it and see how this all ends!

This was not what I was expecting but OMG it blew my mind. This isn't the book that's going to give you answers it's going to have you questioning things as well as needing the answers which you know are coming but not just yet. Now that's been said I have to say that I liked the varying layers written into this narrative because as you peel them back you are uncovering pieces of the character and it feels like nothing else can be hidden, that everything's out in the open. It really has me thinking what are the answer is going to because I know they're going to be a doozy that's my feeling anyway. Aside from this I really appreciated this book. It is very well written . And I liked the dynamics, how it all unraveled. I cannot wait to find out how everything's going to end and come together for this incredible series. I just know that I'm bracing for the inevitable.

Frayed Strings : The Kings Of Mayhem Book 5 ) Settle in , grab on tight and prepare yourself to be wowed , prepare yourself for one heck of a ride and prepare yourself for the unexpected!! Because if you think you know how everything is going to turn out ( well you most definitely do not !! Livianna , Jaxon and Cash . Oh my gosh , the way their story is playing out is everything I could have asked for and more . The things these guys will do for Livianna and the things Livianna has and is still going through. I genuinely don’t even know how to feel . So Team Jaxon or Team Cash ? How do I even choose when there are so many things about both guys I am loving . Not to await the conclusion; not so patiently of course )

"The Frayed Edges" by Brooke Reign is the 5th book in the series. This book grabs you from the first page and is hard to put down.
Lily is recovering from an accident that has her forgetting things. She knows one thing for sure, she is in love with Cash. As her and Cash start their life together, she is starting to remember things from before. Cash is doing everything to protect Lily and keep the only thing he ever wanted. Jaxon is doing his best to protect Lily from the sidelines while his heart to breaking. To many secrets and lies may just break all of them.
Highly recommend this book and series and can't for the next one to come out.

The love triangle continues, the struggle is real for the poor FMC, there are many reasons to like both MMCs and it’s interesting to see both MMCs working together to make life easier for her when times are tough and there’s evil wanting to harm her. Such a good read. The author just has a knack to keep us invested, the writing style and the narratives are just so good and so well done that it is so hard to guess which way Liviana will go but there’s just something about first loves that has me rooting for Cash. Brooke is the queen of suspense and cliffhangers and bam shes done it again in this book! Can’t wait for the next book.

Please check all CW and TW before diving into this continuation of the series. You most certainly need to read the previous 4 books before diving into Liv's story in this one. Ok now with that out of the way OMG the pining!!!! I have been on the edge of my seat throuhout this entire series. Liv's story has been wild!!!! First her history with Cash and then we get the added complication of her relationship with Jax. Then we get to the events that happened in book 4, jaw on the floor. I am not a fan on how things moved with Cash in this one. But now I am ready for book 6 because I need to know how Liv's story ends.

Secrets and Pasts Linger

Livianna and Callum are reunited and proceed to marry. However, the past lurks at every turn and secrets threatened them all, including Jaxon. This installment is more intense and intriguing as I have more questions than answers to the overall situation. My heart is still pounding, needing to know how it all will end. I can't wait for the next installment.

BROOKE.... Omg this whole series has had me hooked from the beginning and I feel in love with all the characters quickly. This series has brought you on an emotionally roller-coaster and you flew through each book to see what would happen. Absolutely loved this book as well and I can't wait to read more of what Brooke writes.

Wow such a gripping story of Livianna, Cash and Jaxon from the very beginning. Jaxon and Cash work together to find the danger, as Livianna begins to remember her lost memories. Talk about unexpected twists and turns!

Oh dang I can’t wait for the sixth book!
What is going on with Cash and does it have anything to do with Leon? And will Lily be ok through all this? Inquiring minds want to know!!!
