Losing someone can destroy you, but finding them can be worse...
I’m surprised at how naive he was and how little he knew. He should never have trusted me, but some lessons must be learned the hard way.

Detective Ellis has spent a lifetime chasing killers, but nothing can prepare him for what’s ahead. What readers are saying about the Number One Bestselling Irish Crime author Joanne Clancy
Readers beware! Behind the seemingly serene, lovely cover of this book, there's evil lurking, darkness, violence, blood and murder ... but there's also heartache, tears and lost love. I Should Have Told You is a cracking thriller.Joseph at Relax and Read Reviews
A super, suspenseful, fast-paced killer thriller read. Knowing it was about a serial killer, I could not wait to start reading this crime novel for it is a subject that truly fascinates and scares the hell out of me. It is not the bogeyman under the bed anymore that you should be frightened of no; it is the serial killer with his own key to your home. It sent chills down my spine when the maniac followed his victims, and you wanted them to either get away from him or survive the vicious attack somehow. I recommend this writer if you enjoy getting to know criminal minds and those that aim to stop them. Maureen Reil, Author
Edge of your seat tension. A well-plotted, perfectly paced book. I was hooked from the start. Joanne Clancy has a knack of drawing the reader in so that you feel, hear, sense and see as clearly as if you were there. Her descriptive writing has made her quickly become one of my favourite authors, and has given me a renewed passion for murder mysteries. Cheryl Henderson, Author
I really enjoy Joanne Clancy's writing style and her ability to write a fantastic edge of your seat, page turning, never a dull moment suspense story.Kelly, Goodreads
Exciting and adventuresome. Don't miss this mystery/suspense from prolific Irish author Joanne Clancy. Mallory Heart Book Reviews
A must read for lovers of suspense and mystery. Murder and suspense: who could ask for more? Anne G. Kasaba, Amazon Reviewer
A sign of a gifted author is the ability to transport her readers, place them right in the middle of the storyline and allow them to feel the range of emotions that the characters in the book are going through. Joanne Clancy is that type of author. Erin Brady, Author
My first reading of a Joan Clancy short novel. It was, gratefully, a brief experience. I really had no idea what was going on and the plot was beyond my comprehension. I respect authors and looking at the number and success of Clancy 's numerous publications acknowledge many will not share my opinion. Fair enough, literature like art, is as they say...... Should I give Clancy another chance? Probably not, but judge for yourself, because you may have an entirely different opinion, and be hooked.
I always look forward to reading a new release by Joanne Clancy. Especially when it is a sequel to an earlier book, which had me gripped from cover to cover and left us wondering what was going to happen next. Therefore, I could not wait to find out and delved straight into this one at the first opportunity of some reading time as soon as I got my hands on a copy. I had to discover what George Ellis did next and how it would play out when he is on the wrong end of a murder charge for once and seemingly goes on the run with the ransom money to catch the real killer. What will he do with him when he comes face to face with the man he believes framed him? Does George have it in him to seek revenge for ruining his life and possibly putting him in jail for something he did not do and if you are going to find yourself accused of murder then why not make it official? With the help of Amy and Bruce (the psychic, who is not who he says he is) but they do believe in George’s innocence. They set out to prove this fact even if it means putting their own lives on the line alongside George as they go on the hunt for the maniac that brutally slain a young woman after kidnapping her and trying to blackmail George. There are brilliantly written scenes in this novel that pull you right into the action and I must say I was not expecting poor old George to survive this one, mentally or physically so you will have to read it to see for yourself if he does. This is another fantastic read from the best-selling author Joanne Clancy. I highly recommend this one as I do her other super suspenseful books to those who like their thrills with kills.
Return To Me is the sequel to Open Your Eyes. We're thrown straight back into the action, right where the first book left off. Poor George is on the other side of a murder charge, and sets out to trace the man he believes framed him for the murder of a woman George knew. With the help of a psychic who isn't who he claims to be, and his landlady and friend, Amy, they set out on a dangerous mission for revenge. Having developed a soft spot for George as his life is torn apart, I feared this would not end well. I won't say anything further about the plot, suffice to say that once again Joanne has delivered a gripping, tension-filled sequel. Many writers with even half of the books Joanne Clancy has published, lose momentum and go off the boil. The opposite is true of this talented author. I don't know how she does it, but I for one am glad she does! Long may it continue. Respect, Joanne. You deserve it!
Return to Me is book two in The Missing Series. Detective George Ellis is back and he is still on the run to prove his innocence of a murder he did not commit. With the help and support of Amy and Bruce (who is not who he says he is) can they fit together pieces of the puzzle to get George off the hook for the crime he is being sought after for. Will the people who once thought George was guilty come back into his life? This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I couldn't put this book down. Joanne Clancy has done it yet again with this suspense filled story. Joanne goes into such detail that it places you,the reader into Return to Me. I could actually picture in my head a lot of details and scenes...some more gruesome than others I might add. Which is a great thing!! I recommend this book to anyone and everyone!! Five edge of your seat stars!!!
Sequel to Open Your Eyes starts immediately where it left off. The POV is Johnathon, or Bruce, the "psychic" helping George figure out why he's being framed. I felt bad for George, a decorated detective going through a divorce, having to fight for his life with only strangers to help. Gina is still not my favorite person as she appears briefly and unsupportive. The story is quick, maybe an hour to read, and sets a quick pace as George tracks the killer. I would have liked more of the killer and his thoughts, his appearance seemed brief and unfinished. Enjoyable read for a quick mystery. My copy was given for my honest review.
I am very thankful for receiving an ARC copy of this book from Joanne Clancy for an honest review.
Loved it! Detective George Ellis is back! He's still on the run.. Or on the hunt... And trying to figure out what happened to him and who set him up for murder. With the help of Bruce and Amy-who isn't who he says he is- they try to piece together everything and prove his innocence. Great read and love reading these mystery books with amazing twists!!
This was another great book by Joanne! I think if you like thrillers or horror books you should give this author a try! She is on my watch list for sure. This book was a great gripping thriller and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time. * I received this book from the author in exchange for an honest review*
