Torn from his home and trapped in a foreign world for nearly a century, Aryn has devoted his life to searching for a way back. He finally escapes, only to land in a small village surrounded by a few familiar faces and a crowd of new ones. Cato is fiercely loyal and dangerously tempting, running from a past he refuses to share. He’s a wildcard, and Aryn knows better than to get distracted as they fight to find a way back to the home he lost.

Drawn together by fate and an undeniable bond, Aryn and Cato find themselves at the center of a conflict that spans worlds, straddling the thin line between survival and surrender. As long-told prophecies awaken, new challenges rise, and the thin barrier between realities begins to fracture, Aryn and Cato must form alliances, navigate buried secrets, and fight for a love that could either save their worlds or destroy them both.

With danger closing in from every side and the fate of two realms hanging in the balance, they’ll have to decide what they’re willing to sacrifice—and what they’re willing to fight for.

Author's Aryn is a First Person Dual POV MM Monster Romance series with explicit content intended for readers 18+. It is the first in a series that will have an overarching storyline carrying between books. While this series ends with a guaranteed HEA, individual books end on more of a HFN basis. The feature couple's story will be resolved, though there will be some unanswered questions and mild cliffhangers that lead into the next in the series.

G. Eilsel

G. Eilsel started writing under this pen name in early 2024, publishing works in two genres she loves: eccentric novellas and MM romance.

Her writing puts a focus on sarcasm, snarky humor, sometimes horrible puns, and steamy scenes that'll make your momma blush. Expect heavy spice, in any sort of variety you're looking for-sweet, emotional, depraved, or downright questionable.

Some of her books are one-handed reads with minimal plot, others are more intricate stories that weave themselves through her brain and demand to be put on paper. Angsty and emotional, light and giggle-inducing, and everything in between can be found between the covers of her books.

She doesn't take herself too seriously, throwing pieces of her humor and quirky personality in her writing. If she can't live up to her title of a One-Handed author, then maybe she can at least make you smile.

THE BITCH IS BACK!!!

Who? What? Why?
We literally didn’t go anywhere?

DOESNT MATTER. IM SO FUCKING HAPPY I GOT TO READ THIS!!!

We all know nobody is expecting a serious review from me, but G keeps trusting me with these arcs, and we all know I’m in love with her so I’m going to try okay???

I want to start with a very simple thing: if you’re still on the fence about reading this series, you’re wasting time.

We’re at book 5 and the plot keeps plotting, we keep getting amazing characters and I KEEP HAVING THE BEST TIME EVER.

I genuinely didn’t expect to love Aryn so much. He’s so kind, and quiet and stoic, but damn also very hot????
Me likes.

Me also cried when we got to meet a certain family member, but please don’t tell anyone.

IM SO FUCKING EXCITED FOR THE NEXT BOOK!!
But what do you mean only two books left?!?!!
What will I do after that????

I read an arc kindly received from the author and this is my honest opinion

The wide range of emotions I felt with this one is insane. Nyx has been my favorite character since I met him and I was worried this book would rival his thrown, and it just might have. I LOVED Aryn. It broke my heart to hear his past and what he lost and the same for Cato. Honestly, there does seem to be a lot of sorrowful backgrounds, but for the series, it makes sense. This book had a lot more plot progression than some of the others, and I loved to know we are getting one step closer. I both can't wait and want to put it off. This book was phenomenal. I now have even more characters I want to read novellas for.

♾️⭐️’s!!!!

Listen, as someone who reads for the plot more than the spice, let me tell you, THE PLOT WAS PLOTTING. Holy f*cking hell, G. Is a genius. We uncovered SO many answers, more plot twists and got a peek at our newest mates!! (Insert scream here).

I truly didn’t think I could replace Xeni from spot 1 but G said “BET. Challenge accepted” and now here we are. Aryn and Cato’s story was SO beautiful. Cato, our wildfire, our prickly porcupine who has trust issues galore and his defense mechanisms are taller than the wall of China 🤣. Aryn is our sweet, sexy Dreven that tries to tell Cato size really doesn’t matter 😉🤭 and boy does he F*CK AROUND AND FIND OUT 🤣🤣🤣. Seriously though, Aryn is such a sweetheart and a scholar at heart. His never ending patience with Cato touched me so deeply. Both men really needed a sense of family & it touched me down to the core of my heart.

When G said SLOWWWWWW BURN. Oh she meant it. IT WAS WORTH EVERY FREAKING SECOND. The romance was written on the pages, you watched these two men be COMMUNICATION KINGS, and slowly learn about one another and become a safe space for each other. You sit there as a reader, watching that tension build and build and build. You’re on the edge of your seat screaming at (MC - I won’t name, just read it) to be ALL IN (iykyk). Then when that tension SNAPS, BABYYYYYYYY IT SNAPPED 🥵🥵🥵 Tail play, rough s*x, kinky fun times and ALLLLLLL 🥵

G is the queen of plot twists. I swear the two major ones we got in here had me SCREAMING into the void. BECAUSE WHAT DO YOU MEAN???????? All the plot points are falling into place, things are happening, pieces are moving and I am so excited and anxious about what’s to come. I’m actually mourning the end of this series, bc we only have two more books left before we say goodbye 😭😭😭.

Safe to say, I absolutely loved this book and G once again DELIVERED HONEYYYYYYY 🤌🏽. She ATE and left NO crumbs 💅🏽. Aryn and Cato have my whole entire heart and their love was so fucking beautiful.

Bravo, G. Eilsel. This was such an action-packed, funny as hell (Lilith and Cameron stay HILARIOUS people), swoon worthy book that had me unable to put this book down. I am so excited for Rhael’s book & can’t wait to join the Mate’s Mark gang for another adventure 😭😭💜💜

I’m going to need some time to process but I think this book might be my favourite of the series?? Cato and Aryn are AMAZING. Their chemistry was just my absolute favourite and I loved getting to see their relationship develop. Their friendship (once it got going) was sweet and written so well, and once the tension started simmering it somehow got even better. I found myself highlighting like an absolute fiend because the dialogue between them is so wonderful and then their spicy scenes were also completely perfect.

-I’m also a total sucker for a big tough guy that realises he’s actually the babiest babygirl (honestly, it’s my all-time favourite trope), so the dynamic in this book was 🥵-

This series is coming together so well and I loved the look we got our first look at the other world. G. Eilsel has done a wonderful job at setting everything up and the payoff has been so satisfying.

This series has been truly wonderful so far and is firmly becoming one of my favourites.

Dare I say Aryn is my new favorite monster? Such a wonderful adventure, the longing, the pining, the falling, and then the spice. Loved the relationship dynamic between Aryn and Cato. Also loved the new characters and connections that were rekindled. Lots of surprises and I can't wait for the next!

I love it when a plan comes together!! Or in this case..a story! 🥳🙌

I love a plot heavy book/series and true to form, G delivers! We get •so many• answers and just as many new questions arise; as well as, a super sexy couple.

The journey she takes us on is sweet but action packed filled with amazing snarky banter from all our favorite characters. And we meet a couple of adorable new faces too. (And one precious angel baby family 🥹)

Watching these two lonely warriors learn to lean on one another was so endearing. And who doesn’t love a good mischievous tail?! 😏

The fifth book is finally here, and we are getting ANSWERS. We are getting ADVENTUROUS JOURNEY in the freaking MONSTER WORLD and of course, we are getting the at first hesitant but quickly scorching ROMANCE between Aryn and Cato!!

G does such a great job with the world building in this one. I was so excited to first of all, get a lot of the answers that I was really anticipating from the end of book 4. And then after that, this book is really about a journey that the characters go on through the monster world and we learned so much about the monstrous culture and how they live and multiple characters, families and back stories. It really felt like the lead up to the climax of the series. Even though they were on a huge, adventurous journey, there were still so many sweet and spicy moments woven in with the main characters and the romance and spicy scenes were absolutely popping as usual

My favourite part about this book was the chemistry between the two main characters, as well as finally being able to see the monster world. But let me just talk about Cato and Aryn for a minute, because they were pretty cool main characters. Cato is such a hot head but also has this other side to him and he was really fun. Aryn was so serious yet not at the same time, and his absolute devotion, but also very confident and capable presence was just so cool. I feel like their relationship dynamic was something really unique and definitely didn’t follow any kind of basic relationship, dynamic trope that you see a lot in gay romance books. So I did really enjoy those two!

This book has:
-fated mates
-a monstrous adventure with fighting
-tail and power play… and public spice 👀 (these two kinda freaky, okay?)
-possessive behaviour, but tastefully so
-monster/ human romance
-and Aryn has sexy fangs 👅

Just a reminder that this book cannot be read as a standalone and you absolutely need to read the first four books before you jump into this one. But if you’re someone who loves fun monster romance, that includes an overarching plot, really cool and sweet relationship dynamics, diverse characters, and just really great writing quality then you are going to really enjoy the series.

Every time I jump back into this series I dont wanna leave it 🥹 I love these guys so much.
This is Book 5 in the Mate's Mark Series and they NEED to be read in order! Each book is about a different couple but there is a HUGE overarching plot. You cannot just jump in and follow along and hope for the best 🤣 Also these are not super dark but there are definitely dark moments so check the TWs before heading in 🖤

🌶🌶🌶🌶

It's going to be tough but I will try and give a spoiler free review here 🫣
We follow Aryn and Cato through this one and start literally right where we left off in Xeni (again gotta read these in order) Sovran spills the beans about how the rifts between the worlds happen and his part in everything. We get alot of truth bombs and big info that we have been waiting for right out of the gate which I love! No filler here we get right to the point. Our gangs mission is trying to find a...ummm...Ally...that will help them take down the last big 5 generals and they will be adventuring to a distant land to find this Ally. Boy did we get some surprises when we went on this adventure. I was expecting dangers and some speed bumps but whoa did we get more.
I wasnt sure what we were going to get with Aryn and Cato we seen them a bit in the other stories but not as much as past couples. My gosh these two guys 🥹 Cato has that sassy exterior to hide what he has been through and Aryn has all the patience in the world for it. Aryn is the calm strong force that Cato didn't know he was waiting for and Cato provided that family that Aryn has been missing. I cant recommend this series enough! You really get everything you could ever want with them all the feels, spice, found family, action and adventure...SERIOUSLY everything!

✨May contain spoilers✨

I have been waiting for this book since the last book came out and as usual G. Eilsel never disappoints the long wait.

This made me go through so many emotions that I wasn’t expecting. From the surprise characters that we get that I totally was not expecting, I truly loved every piece of information we got in this book. And can I just say that the world building was simply beautiful. I’ve been waiting to see the monster world and the way that G. describes every freaking detail, it was everything I could want and more!

I have so many favorite moments but the moment that Aryn walked through those doors that he was alive, my heart was trying to jump out of my chest. My heart broke the moment that Cato tried to go after him because Aryn always took care of everyone like he did in that moment. The caretaking that these do for one another had me in my feelings as usual because that’s one of my favorite microtropes.

I was certainly surprised when we meet a few important characters and it shocked me. I don’t want to give any spoilers but it made me smile.

As usual, the found family in this book was beautiful. From the playful banter to the serious moments and just the caring we get from them made me yearn for more. Lilith is such a fun character she had me giggling at her commentary.

And the spice scenes as usual were spicy. The alley scene - hello there!

The way that these two gravitated towards one another had me in my feels. From the whole “don’t leave me” to “I won’t leave me” had me in tears. I didn’t think I could be an emotional mess like I was with these two.

I cannot wait for the next book because I have a feeling it’s going to make me feel even more than I did in this book.

I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.

I am obsessed with this series, this was such an amazing book. The world building in this series is next level, and the relationships are so captivating.

Aryn is the 5th book in the Mate’s Mark series and apart from loving Cato and Aryn’s relationship this book ties so much together and was everything I could hope for.

Cato is a complete wildcard, someone who has all of their walls up and doesn’t trust easily. He is very loyal and Aryn admires him for this. There are so many obstacles they have to face in this book but despite the journey they end up forging this incredible bond between the two of them.

The world building in this book was so amazing. The slow burn romance made all of the spice so much better, I just am so in awe with every addition to this series because I love each book more and more. But there was something so satisfying about these two coming together, Cato letting his walls down and accepting to trust and allowing Aryn to care for him❤️. The possessiveness between the two of them, and the banter was written so well! The found family these two find in eachother is so beautiful 🥹❤️

THE WAY ARYN USES HIS TAIL, NEW FAVORITE TROPE? I THINK SO🥹!

This is a hard review to write without giving spoilers but as a devoted reader to this series I am so happy with the story progression and the relationships forged. I will definitely cry when this series is over.

I am so incredibly thankful to have recieved this ARC I absolutely love this series and it made my day 🫶❤️🥹

Possessive MCs

This series has me in a chokehold! Each book just keeps getting better as we find out more and more about the overall storyline! This books grabs you from the start and pulls you in like you never left!
Cato and Aryn are living embodiment of opposites attract! Cato is this tough, runs head first into danger, loves the adventure type. While Aryn is the academic, I would rather be learning all I can, cozy up with a book at home type (although he is still deadly in a fight!). Their relationship start slowly, a mutual understand of survival at first, that turns into more! I love that Aryn is steady with his needs, he doesnt push but he sets what he expects and makes Cato face want he wants. and I ADORED that once they finally got together their roles seemed to reserve! Aryn becomes the dominant one while Cato is able to finally give up that control and let himself be taken care!

This book like all the others, ends with you wanting more and on the edge of your seat dying to know what is going to happen next! I am so invested in this series and attached to these characters! While I want to know how its all going to play out in the end, I also don't want this series to ever end!

The only problem I have with the books in this series is that they end 😭

The plot? The characters? The emotions? INCREDIBLE.
Seriously, everything in this book was just simple perfection. It felt slightly different from the previous books, mostly just because of the setting of most of the book, but no less captivating.

Aryn and Cato were such deep characters, but the communication between the two??? Omg, like seriously, miscommunication trope who? Aryn was so patient and understanding of Cato's past, while Cato, despite his complicated feelings, never lied to Aryn and was always there to support him 😭
Their relationship took some time to really develop, but then the chemistry was soooo good. The possessiveness and protectiveness from both of them - ✨perfect✨

I loved how much other characters were involved in this book. The ones we've already met in previous books and some new ones. The banter and seeing each individual's personality shining through was a treat (Cameron's dry sarcasm will never not be funny).

And though it was not written about Ronan's tiny little teefers, it made me laugh when Aryn described Anunians fangs as: [...] their fangs are tiny compared to the canines that curve from my upper jaw.

As much as I’ve been waiting for Sakane's book since he was first introduced, what do you mean, only two more books??😭😭

It did take me a while to finish this book, but only because I didn't want to finish it - now I don't know what to read after such a ✨masterpiece✨😭😭

Each installment of the Mate's Mark series just solidifies why this is my absolute favorite series.

I read all kinds of romance and love all the pining/yearning/spice I can get in a book, and Aryn delivers that along with such a gripping plot. As soon as I finish a Mate's Mark book I'm already contemplating the next one. The overarching plot is SO INTRIGUING. I always give my daughter (5) a synopsis of what I'm reading in a very PG way, and she was so excited about this book...she was begging me to read faster so I could update her on what everyone was doing. . When I told her they met Nyx's sister and Aryn was reunited with his son? She squealed with happiness.

I loved Aryn and Cato, they had one of my favorite couple dynamics to read. I LOVE a big tough guy being turned into a submissive whimpering mess because he finally feels safe to let that part out. They each had a lot of past hurt and trauma to work through and it was heart warming to see them opening up and trusting each other through their journey, even before the marks appeared.

Finally getting a glimpse into the monster world was intriguing, as well. I loved the descriptions of the places they saw and people they met. The author mentioned there are 2 more books left, and as excited I am to see what happens I also don't want this journey to end. But I'll be thinking about and rereading up until the next book is released.

How do you find words to describe a book that left you speechless?? Like, seriously, book slump to the extreme here. G is a freaking MASTER when it comes to world building, character formation, humor, emotion, and pulling you so deep into a story that you never want to leave. She did not disappoint with Aryn.

There are surprises in this book. There are shocks. There are so many OMG moments I cannot possibly count them. There are more than a few new characters for you to fall head over heels in love with. Aryn will make you swoon so hard, and he will also set your lower regions ablaze. Cato will crack you up and break you to pieces in equal measure. They are so unexpectedly perfect for each other and you will hurt right along with them as they fight through their pasts to find their way to the absolute decimation of their slow burn romance. Seriously. ASHES, y'all.

If you've read the first 4 books, grab Aryn and start reading asap. If you haven't started this series yet, here's your sign. Get on it, you won't be disappointed.

OH MY GOD I love this series, it just keeps getting better with every book.

I was beyond excited to receive an ARC for this from the author! And woooo this book did not disappoint 🤩 I was audibly gasping at a big reveal not even 10% in lol.

Aryn and Cato are both fiercely loyal to their people and it was fascinating watching them learn to trust each other, even before they knew who they were to each other. Aryn is the epitome of patience, setting his boundaries with Cato (“all or nothing”) but still allowing him the time to deconstruct the walls he’d built around his heart. When they finally come together? Aryn stumbling through those gates? 😭❤️

The world building is incredible. I LOVE that we got to explore the monster world in this book, and we met so many new key characters that SHOOK me when we learned who they were!

I was worried about a cliffhanger, but G Eilsel is so good about wrapping up each book with a “happy for now” ending while also teasing us into the next book. I cannot wait for Rhael and Sakane next!

“I love you with every beat of my heart and with every breath I take. I'll love you until my final moment in this life, and then I will love you in the next."

What a ride! From page 1 this book completely captivates you and immerses you back into their world! You have Cato, a strong willed, sassy human who is quick to jump to any challenge thrown his or his friends way, and who loves to irritate Aryn. Then you have Aryn: sweet, precious FREAKING SPICY AS SHIT *whispers, let’s talk about HIS TAIL*(🥵) Aryn. His story and past was so sad but watching him heal and grow like he did in this book was beautiful to watch! Aryn’s and Cato’s chemistry was off the charts! This book was definitely a slow burn, but you don’t even notice that because of the tension, the playfulness, and the flirting all throughout their story! Also my favorite side character, Lillith had a lot of scenes in this book which made me stupidly happy! Read this series folks!

Holy breadcrumbs Batman! Genuinely, the big overarching story of this series is hooking me in SO hard.

I absolutely devoured this and was lucky enough to be an arc reader for the author.

I’m still so so impressed by this series and I genuinely cannot wait for the next book.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m 7 months pregnant, or the reunions and feels during this book just hit me.

Nyx my precious little baby, he needed that hug and I need him to get his reunion with his sister for sure.

A and C were hotttttttt. A is a secret little minx and I’m here for it. I adored seeing A care for C and know what each other needed in their partnering. I do wish we learnt a bit more about A’s anatomy, I’m struggling to picture the tendrils to be fair haha. Also, what the heck is with the d&m about C saving and only having his brother but he dropped off when they bailed from the city? I’d like his return at some stage.

So so so keen for the next book and I hope I’m lucky enough to get another arc read for it! Thank you for continuing this story so perfectly!!

Obsessed is an understatement! Every single time I think this book can’t be better than the last G. Proves me wrong! I LOVED THIS BOOK and yes you have to read them in order and no you cannot skip around, this series is a ride you must take in order. I had no idea what to expect from Cato and Aryn, but I wasn’t expecting so much healing?! These two were snarky but oh so tender, accepting each other where they are, and dulling those sharp edges of one another in such a perfect way.
We are thrown right back into the craziness that is the world from the beginning, dropped right where we were left last time, and I was not ready for the adventure to the next world. I was so appreciative with this book that the two main guys weren’t put through much…if you’ve read the series you know that G loves to torture us a bit, but these two had been through enough. They just needed to be together and heal and it was perfect! The whole book was chefs kiss perfection. The reunions, the new world, the love, and found family! I can’t believe we only get two more books.

4.5/5. Another great installment. I love Aryn so much. He's calm, intelligent, and wise. And with Cato, he's also possessive and such a caretaker. It took me a minute to really understand and love Cato, but I do. He's strong willed and bold and brash. He can be arrogant, but he honestly tries so hard at everything he does that he backs it up. I really enjoyed this slow burn (and I do mean sloooow burn lol). It made that moment they finally give in so much more special. I really loved experiencing this new world, too. And getting to meet new monsters, who I love. The twists were twisting. The spice was spicing. And the caretaking had me actually swooning. I love the dynamic between these two and how it changes in the bedroom. Overall, another great book in a great series! I can't wait for the next one!

I had a great time with this book! I was so excited to start, and I was not let down! These two—oh how I love them. I still love my baby Xeni, and I was so happy to see him again. The influx of info we got about how it all started was something that I didn’t even guess, though I did guess something when the story started lol. Ronan…he just keeps getting on my nerves but oh well. Aryn, I wanted to hug him and protect him. He’s so sweet and his story was heartbreaking. I was sooo happy when we got to see the person he has been missing ( no spoilers lol). Cato was my little grumpy sweetheart. I enjoyed him so much. These two’s journey together was amazing to see. The revelations that came in this story had me shocked. There is a secondary character that I NEED to get a story 👀👀👀👀!!! Please, lol! Overall, this was a great time. Excited for the next book!

Here's why this is brilliant. If the author had put a couple with high angst and a lot of miscommunication,  it would have been overwhelming with the story going on in the background, for me. I think that I wouldn't have been able to appreciate the backstory and Elyra as much if we were dealing with a lot of drama within the couple themselves. There was so much world building and this book was so important to the overall story within all of these books. Because these two characters, being so honest and open, it flowed beautifully.  In regards to the relationship itself, I love how they just put their thoughts out there and treated those words with the respect they deserved. I can't wait for the last two books.

Ohh, how I love this freaking series!!! A plot twist not even 5 chapters in! Hooked I tell ya, HOOKED!

Every time I read a book in this series my favourite couple changes. Every. Damn. Time! And wouldn’t you know, it’s changed AGAIN! 🤦🏻‍♀️
These 2 actually broke my heart! (Chapter 29 and 30 😩)

Cato & Aryn are the goddamn sweetest pair! I can always appreciate a slow burn and this one was no different. The relationship development, the friends to lovers aspect was a joy to read.

As always with this series, our gang is thrown into some dicey situations, nothing comes easy when you are trying to save the world. This book was action packed with lots of twists along the way. It was also funny, devastating and absolutely heartwarming!

Another fabulous addition to a fabulous series!

This was so good! The reveals, the banter, the world building I loved it all. I knew going in I was going to enjoy Cato and Aryn together and I did. Their communication was one of my favorite things. I really appreciated that they were able to discuss what was needed without letting time linger and negative emotions fester. It didn’t make things smoother but it did make sure they both were in the know and I loved to see it. The relationship development for these two was great. They became friends even if unintentional and it made for a fun time as we progressed through the book. The side characters were entertaining, the storyline was intriguing, the writing was great and I’m excited for the next book!

This series lives rent free in my head. The characters are so funny, relatable and lovable. Seeing this group grow together and become such an amazing supportive community is so heartwarming. The plot is complex and creative in a way that really keeps you on your toes.

Aryn and Cato were such an interesting pair, and at first I wasn’t sure if I would like their dynamic. Little did I know that Cato is just a big sweet himbo who struggles to express himself, and all he needed was patient lovely Aryn to understand him and make him feel cared for 🥹🥹🥹🥹

Fantastic addition to this series. I’m so excited to see where this plot goes next.

Expect:
-human / monster
-fated mates
-forced proximity
-hurt / comfort
-found family
-age gap
-possessive MCs

Omg, this series is so freaking good! Every installment I think it can't be as good as the last and its better! I loved these 2, there were times though where I just wanted to shake Cato (Lovingly). Back when we found out there was a possibility of going to the other world, I was really hoping we would see it and it didn't disappoint. I can't say much about it without spoilers but there were some really lovely parts and people in the other world. I can't wait for the next book, we're almost at the end and I'm dying to see what's to come. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

ARC 📖 review 6/5 ⭐️ Overall

MC’s: Aryn & Cato

By G. Eilsel

Picked up Special Editions for this series from the author’s site and am happy to finally start them. Love Ronan and Cameron.

Tropes:
🖤 Monster-Human
❤️ Dystopian Dark MM Romance
🏔️ Fated Mates
🏹 Age Gap 👀
🖤 Forced Proximity
❤️ Grumpy-Sunshine

A heartbreakingly beautiful romance in a dystopian world too broken to be anything but sharp and painful. The MC’s face the world, becoming friends before lovers. The story works in some typical tropes while the story is anything but formulary. I loved the characters and the world building. The story was chef’s kiss and brought all the other books together.

Please note, I did receive this advanced copy ahead of publication; I am writing this honest review voluntarily and appreciate the opportunity provided by the author to review this book.

Aww, so many sweet moments! I adored how the relationship slowly merged together.
Aryn and Cato both kept their individual personalities and strengths (and weaknesses) throughout.
The adventure aspect of the novel was gripping. I was on the edge of my seat through some scenes. Cato and Aryn do not hold back when they are in battle and they will make you fear for their safety!
The reunions!! With the people and their people and the things! (I don’t want to spoil it!)
I’m so eager to see how the rest of the series goes. I can’t believe there are only two more books!

Thank you BookSirens for this ARC. This review contains my own opinion and personal thoughts on the book.
