Kain was THEE man!
If I could give this book more stars, I would. I love the way she built the characters. The only other book I've read with this many pages is the Bible, lol. I saw it in a group on Facebook and said yes to the cover. While I loved Kain and Monroe/Roe, my favorite character was Kennedy. She had me HOWLING. She was the annoying younger sister that you loved to hate but, at the same time, did not play about. Ellis got on my nerves, but he was rotten and the only boy. If I my dad were present in my life, I would want him to be like Curtis. I was pleasantly surprised by this book and thoroughly enjoyed it. Wow.
