Loved it. Abby is dragged on a trip by her friend Susie. While there she learns all the ins and outs of the resorts some good and some bad. She meets a Mr. Young or Scott as he wants to be called. She suspects more that meets the eye in the place and is suspicious of Scott too. Will she find out or will she be kicked out before she can?
I love anything near the word wolf and this one is no exception, as always wolves and their mates are amazingly wonderful, I loved how they meet, their interactions, and the doubts she had, it was steamy in action suspense and love this series is so cool
As always you've done a very good job with your characters and have kept me on the edge of my seat and I have read it in one sitting enjoy it very much thanks again Fred, have to go on line to see if there is a second book!
This book was interesting but I couldn't understand it being anything about a wolf. There was some sex at the end but it was mostly about what they were eating. I could have skipped this book and read the second one maybe it will make more sense.
I have to say that this is one of my favorite books of this genre (BBW Romance that is)) that I have read in a long time. I really did enjoy reading this eBook and I also enjoyed the writing style. I am definitely going to have to look into more books by this author.
What I liked: - Writing. The paranormal elements are all shrouded in mystery and it's a slow reveal as you read along (although, annoyingly, I don't think anything concrete about the wolves is actually revealed in this book!) - Girl Power. The friendship between the two women is an important part of this novel.
What I disliked: - There isn't much of a plot. Just two women going to a retreat and starting a romance with the resort's owner and 2nd in command. - the MMC is a 2D character. He's not developed at all. - The fact that it's a serial. Ive enjoyed both serials and novellas in the past but I genuinely think this book doesn't have enough meat to it to justify stringing the story out through several novellas.
Abby and Suzie decide to take a vacation to a great resort that guarantees rejuvenation. Suzie has been here before. When they arrive Abby has her doubts. When she meets a co owner Scott she's smitten. She starts to like this place this, with him in it until she goes to dinner with him and they argue. She starts a fight and in the contract no fights allowed or your banned well if she's going to be banned she wants to break another rule she wants to see the beach at night but it's one of the rules. She sees someone in the water and tries to hide till she realizes it's Scott. Where to go from there. Need to read will enjoy.
First of series. A health retreat that is more than it seems. All visitors must eat medium rare meat and if they refuse, they get thrown out with no refund. There are plenty of rules and if you break them, who really knows if the people actually leave? Nobody is allowed out after dark and wolves can be heard howling at the moon.
Light banter of two best friends on a trip to the Garden
This book is an easy read, but did not catch my full attention until the second half. That is when the wolf, of " Garden of the Wolf ", is revealed. Light banter of two best friends on a trip to the Garden, makes this a fun read. I would recommend it to everyone.
This book leaves you hanging. It picks up in the next book. Abby and Susie travel to the Garden Resort because it claims to make you feel younger by the time you leave. The Garden has a weird vibe and Abby is skeptical about their claim. Abby also has the hits for the owner and the feeling is mutual.
So far, it’s okay, but this is the first of four. At times it was a bit silly, but I liked the two girls and their friendship. We don’t find out much about Scott in this book. It is badly in need of an editor. Especially concerning are the number of errors of subject-verb agreement. A low three stars.
This is a really good book. It's super short and I wouldn't call it a complete book. I love Abbys spirit and her personality. I laughed a few times. These two friends are funny. I just wish the book was longer and complete. It gives you just enough to make you crave more of the story.
Not sure where this is heading, it does not really mention shifters or what this is all about except the title and a few hints in the novel suggesting wolves. Love the characters, even tho Mr Scott Young sounds a little nerdy! Beware this is not a stand-alone. Not sure about the plot, mentioning a herb as well as a garden of youth?
Cute short story that I liked a lot but the only wolf in this book was one that howled. I'm sure the next gets into more detail but you won't find shifters in this book you will only read about hearing them. Still a good book and looking forward to next
As with the other books by Mac...this gets you very interested in seeing what's next. I really want to know about this garden. Why must they eat all their food ? Buy most important is what will happen to the girls?
I didn't think I was going to like it at first. I did enjoy the dialog and loved the main characters. But, I would love it from the hero's pov a little as well and the ending is a cliffhanger.
Can't wait to see what Abby and Susie get up to next. Will Scott and Nelson be there to protect them? Are they even couples? This is a series with steamy scenes and for 18 and over.
Loved this mini novel. I love shifter romances & although this didn't quit get there as a shifter story, it is a great book & I look forward to reading more of the series.
Not funny...ha ha, but strange. Something I am eager to discover. I interesting characters, mysterious plot, and exciting sexual intrigue. Wish it was all in one book though, hate when a story is a cliff hanger.
I liked the writing style a lot and this book is a short, quick read that I really enjoyed. Abby was funny and the teasing between her and Susie was adorable.
Oh, and Young is just so hot!!🥰
Overall, this book was a pretty good read and I’m looking forward to reading the next one!!
Linda and Scott were destined for that lake. Linda was drawn to lake before she Even arrived. For Scott it seems it was love at first sight. So, when they're finally together it was total unbridled passion. Love the story and the untold secret.
This story starts out good. Leads up to some romance. Then it leaves you hanging without resolving the story. Almost like the author forgot to finish the story. So frustrating.
