There are a lot of characters
First I will say if you read this duet do it back to back because I struggled to remember who everyone was and how they connected. Between the people and all the alters it is a lot to juggle. I definitely feel like I know a lot more about some than others. I also wanted more from Pix.
I really enjoyed the storyline. It is complex and there is a lot going on. Getting Merle's story through bits and pieces the layers carried was interesting and different. I loved that each of the alters had their specific reason for being and it was all written out at one point near the end.
This story is absolutely heartbreaking but the resilience is amazing. Merle never would have found a place if not for Pix and his crazy Alpha's. These guys all work because they are all killers.
This story is learning to trust and letting love in. It's about unraveling the truth and making peace with yourself and your past. It's about revenge and making sure no one else suffers like you and the others did.
Tea did a fantastic job bringing all the alters to life and allowing them to be individual while sharing the space. I loved the idea of the inner sanctum and how it worked out for them.
This was a beautiful pack of unalivers who had each other's back long before they were all a pack.

This duet kept surprising me until the very end but it was a satisfying ending! Enjoyed every minute of the journey with Merle, her other identities, Pix and their five alphas. The pacing felt right, there was plenty of bonding time compared to plot and action: the balance was ideal. No part of the story felt boring or stagnant which is always a plus! I loved that Merle, Jay, Raven, Raptor, Kestrel and Dove all grew to feel safer with all the alphas in the pack and felt safe to share them with Pix to bond as a pack finally! I enjoy all the alphas but Rolly's insane, playful nature has won me over more. I liked the dynamic between Roseland and Sage being step brothers and fighting their connection. Blaze and King were loveable in their bonding too; Merle's and King's innocent and loving relationship built on more trust and safe space is my favourite overall.
Loved following Pix find his perfect pack and just enjoyed the absolute chaos of this duet. Excited to see what Tea has in store for us next!

This book put us right into the events of what happened at the end of book one. It revealed all the secrets, pain, and exposed the feelings between the pack. This was a good conclusion to the duet. However, I feel as though this pack would have been more intriguing, and we would have been able to get more insight into each character if the pack was cut in half. This pack felt too big for their circumstances. The DID element was so cool. However, with six alters and six other pack members it felt like too much. Also, I think Pix could have shined more with his own pack. We know he has trauma and it felt like he was pushed to the side when it came to Kestrel ( and the alter). I think giving Kestrel and Pix their own packs would have allowed us to explore Pix more and get in deep with his trauma. This was a good duet though, and I’m excited to read Sariah’s book.

Our Happy Ending
This dark omegaverse story is simply phenomenal.
It picks up right after the cliffhanger in the first book—which, let’s be honest, was absolutely jaw-dropping—and if you thought the twists would stop there, or that you would eventually stop saying “What the H...?!”, then think again.
This second book is just as packed with suspense, unanswered questions, action, and so many, many surprises.
But it also gives us those heart-wrenching moments, especially when it comes to the bad guys they have to deal with.
And then there’s the intensity of their relationship and all those steamy moments that will definitely make your blood boil.
And I can’t forget one of the things I loved most: their dark sense of humor. Both our MCs and their friends are wonderfully unhinged, but they all have their hearts in the right place.

Truly unique
Rot In Knotty Pieces is the conclusion of Merle's story with her unusual mates. And I couldn't put it down once I started reading.
This book was a masterful done. Each character has such a pivotal place in how everything played out throughout the whole book. The way the author switched so brilliantly through each of Merle's alters was genius. It added so much to the overall story. And as King, Blaze, Rolly, Rose ,Sage, and Pix recognized those switches it showed that they really knew her and loved each part of her. This was key as they worked to outwit Father and stop him.
This book was the perfect blend of intrigue, danger, thriller, and emotional build up. Readers will get their answers and a few things they didn't see coming.

I don't know how to write a review for how much I loved this book when I am actually at a loss for words after I finished. This book was so incredible. I loved the characters and the plot, the relationships and the mystery. I was stressed out so bad by the end of this book but I couldn't put it down. This one is going on my "If I get amnesia" list (which books would I want presented to me to experience for the first time again. I was gasping and giggling and had to take several pauses to expel the pent up stress which to the form of random noises and/or full body flailing. So please approach according and I wish you all the best. Good luck and enjoy!

This was a fab conclusion to the duet and it pics up right from the devastating cliffy of the first book ;P This book continues with so many twists, suspense, action, drama, danger and shocks. I was glued to my reader, beginning to end and definitely recommend. I really enjoyed how unhinged so many of the characters were and the dark humour interspersed with intense emotions and steam woven throughout. There's real bonding time in this part of their story and I really liked that a lot. So good and I can't wait for what's next by this author :D

Rot In Knotty Pieces is a true masterpiece to read. I'm still wrapping my mind around the woven web Tea Ravine has gifted us to read. It's catastrophically mind-blowing how well multiple personality disorder was written in the RIP duet series. It was a true experience to read. I have no idea what to write other than that without giving any spoilers away!
I adored each unhinged character! And we got to read some more about the Sanderson’s and Bonnie and how everyone is interconnected.

Merle and her multi personalities have to fight to survive along with her and Pix going into heat, which causes all their alphas to find a way to make it possible all while trying to stay ahead of the psycho Father. This masterpiece conclusion keeps us guessing and some of the surprises we just were not expecting, Tea Ravine really put it all out there with this one! Absolutely 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I couldn't get enough of it.
The suspense, the danger, trauma, murder, and so many other dark elements.
It is all balanced out by love, hope, healing, and humor.

Just…. wow. This duet was intense, I continued to be in awe of what Tea writes. I don't know how she was able to have so many main characters and have them as well developed as she did, but she did it beautifully. The duet featured some heavy themes, be sure to check the content list!

Rot In Knotty Pieces is the third in the RIP ALPHA series by Tea Ravine. This picks up right where book one left us. I loved Pix and Merle. The pack is just right for those two. You def need to read book one first. Great story. Check the TWs. Loved it.

Good
Such a well written series. Has it all. A great story with a lot of action and heat. Kept me entertained all the way. And didn't go overboard on the sex .Some authors take too much of the story for that. Just the right amount in these books.

Tea never fails to write a fraught and emotionally compelling story. Rot in Knotty Pieces is a deeper look at trauma and what the mind and spirit sometimes have to do to survive. Merle and her alters are her body’s way of navigating indescribable dehumanization and horror. This culmination of her story shines light of what she’s had to endure and how each of her pack members’ heartbreaking stories have made them uniquely and unfailingly perfect counterpoints.
