The story seemed like it would have been a good one and I tried real hard to like it but not gonna happen. I think this author just had a story she wanted to tell along with all the twists and turns incorporated. First,this was in need of serious editing not just typos but grammar and complete thoughts. The writing was choppy often skipping from one event to the next then to one couple to the next then back again and the resolutions were too fluffy. No angst, anger, dread, frustration, or any emotion. There’s no connection to any of these people or the 5 various sets of interchangeable couples. I didn’t like this and simple skimmed to the end just to confirm the predictable outcome. This was just not done well. It’s a hard pass.

This romance novel has been living rent-free in my brain for months, and I'm not even mad about it!
From the very first chapter, the characters were so compelling that I was completely hooked. What makes this novel so powerful is how deeply you fall for all four characters from the very beginning. Their relationships are the core of the story, filled with an easy, authentic chemistry that makes their happiness feel real.
But what truly sets this book apart is the storyline. It's a wild ride with twists and turns I never saw coming, keeping me on the edge of my seat. Just when I thought I had it all figured out, the plot would take a sharp turn that had my jaw on the floor. It's rare to find a romance that also delivers such a gripping and unpredictable plot.

Who edited this novel?
I am really missed that I used my Amazon credits and paid money for this. Whoever allowed this to be published should be fired. Choppy sentences, misspellings, grammatical mistakes, missing words, misused words...what a nightmare. The story is simple and jumps from one thing to another quickly, presumably to make way for the rambling sex scenes. This was a waste of my time. Sorry, Misty Jae, but you need to tighten up your writing and get yourself a skilled editor.

Storyline was good but...
The storyline was good but it felt like everything was rushed. Everyone got over everything too easily, it wasn't realistic. The island was to easy to endure, they found everything they needed and really didn't have to struggle that much. Brody punched Bennett for being with us Wife and then the next sentence everything is fine? Also the driver for David's name changes suddenly, first it's Camden then it's George, then it's back to Camden? This book needs work.

Never have I ever wanted to get stranded somewhere...
This book had me hooked from the first chapter in! It is a great read and the author literally makes you crave more. I was in love with ALL the characters, for the first time while reading a story I was rooting for all involved! I could feel all their emotions with the way the author goes into depth on each character. If your looking for romance, suspense, and all the feels, this book won't disappoint!

I loved this story from Beginning to end, it had so many couple 's but, the more romantic one was Bennett and Harper. The other ones I saw as filler 's it was also A Friends to lovers romance. With A twist, of how they ended up together. Also they where both on an island. The twist I didn't see comeing was there Spouse's still being alive that was never mentioned on what the.book was about when I got it on Kindle. Because what it didn't tell you was they moved on to other people.

This book definitely has some major plot twists. While there is some work that could be done editing grammatical errors, the story line did not disappoint! The book captures your attention and doesn’t let go! I couldn’t put the book down with all the plot twists I couldn’t wait to finish reading it.

I couldn't even read this, it's so bad. Like really bad writing and it felt like a third person was telling the story, which maybe was the case but it was so fucking disturbing. So annoying I couldn't go around that. It was impossible even if the story has some potential...

This was a good read but not without some issues. I felt like some situations were glossed over and I wish I could have seen more explanation/description. I did enjoy the story mostly. It was really angsty when the two were rescued due to the twist I did not see that coming. Loved the hea in the end!

Very Good
I’d rate it 4.5 stars but have no issue rounding it upward.
The deserted island(stranded) theme has been my go to novel lately (about the tenth book over last several months). As I’ve mentioned in other reviews, this ‘stranded on an island’ trope doesn’t offer a lot of room for varying the plot. They get stranded-they find a way to survive-they make a connection-they’re rescued(usually). In this version the author, Misty Ogert, gives you the story on both sides of the water.
I can’t speak more on it without giving away spoilers. But I think she tells the story well (couple of exceptions: 1. having him go off on a raft without any idea of a destination or chances of success/survival that completely abandons her.....seriously, No way. 2. For the romance genre of this trope, do people not consider ‘pulling out’ or does deserted island life make one forget how babies get made).
For me A book only needs to do one main thing: engage me in a story that keeps me interested in what is happening and what will happen next. I think this book delivered on that very well.

I wanted to really like this book. The plot of the story was intriguing. However, it seemed to go through experiences too quickly and you did't get a chance to develop a connection with the main characters. Then as time goes on you get a glimpse of other characters and their lives. Then it skips to the rescue etc. I didn't like the cookie cutter ending to this book. There should have been more angst in the story. Overall, not worth reading.

The plot of the story kept me turning pages until I finished the story. The characters were real and earthy. I enjoyed the book from start to finish. I highly recommend this read to anyone wanting to lose themselves in a good book. I am anxious to read this author's next offering.

I was very excited to read this, as I love the premise of survival. This book did not disappoint. The story kept me interested throughout. I only wished that it was longer. A great first novel by Misty Jae Ogert! I look forward to seeing what she comes up with next.
