I had the pleasure of receiving this as an e-ARC and voluntarily will be giving my honest review. This is the first time that I have read anything from this Author and she did not disappoint!! Absolutely loved the world building and loved how the original world and the magical worlds overlap! The banter in this story was phenomenal had me laughing! I loved all the elements in this story with witches, monsters and the supernatural!! Can’t wait to read more from this Author!!

This book feels like watching a season of Supernatural - complete with the surly & nerdy brothers, beloved muscle car, and trunk full of monster hunting gear. This is made even better by the addition of the witchy sisters, McKenna and Tyler, on a quest to find out what happened to their missing parents and why magical monsters seem to be evolving and what that means for the world. The paranormal world building is very cool, but I did ponder where these 5 million year old beings were hanging out before humans had evolved. A different plane?
The pacing was off for me, it was a slow start, meandering middle, followed by the last part of the story just being one reveal and secret after another and the plot moving very quickly towards the end. Without spoiling, I will say I am not a fan of the 'ghosting to protect someone' without actually tapping into your support network and communicating. I did like how the story wrapped up and would be curious to know what is in store for Wood (and Tyler).
Overall, if you like paranormal adventure with a Supernatural vibe and lots of different types of beings and monsters, banter, and found family - then give this one a chance!

Love But Wilder was such a fun little mix of paranormal mystery, romance and self-discovery. It has witches, monster hunters, dream-jumping, missing parents, family secrets and, most importantly, a corgi Familiar named Pepperoni. Honestly, Pepperoni had me sold. 😂
McKenna was a character I really enjoyed following. She’s living what should be a relatively predictable life—running her family’s flower and metaphysical shop while using her abilities to warn people of their deaths—until her parents disappear and she starts questioning whether there’s something much bigger waiting for her.
Then Declan Wilder enters the picture, and things get considerably more complicated.
I liked the romance because it develops alongside the mystery rather than completely swallowing the story. McKenna and Declan have an interesting dynamic, particularly as they realise their connection goes much deeper than either initially understands. There’s attraction, but there’s also this underlying question of whether they can actually trust what they’re discovering about themselves and their families.
The world-building was probably my favourite element. I enjoyed the way the magical and ordinary worlds overlap, with shops, family life and everyday routines existing alongside witches, monsters and supernatural abilities. It gives the story a cozy paranormal feel while still leaving room for darker mysteries.
The pacing worked well for me overall. There are quite a few pieces to uncover, but the mystery surrounding McKenna’s parents gives the story a strong reason to keep moving forward. I also appreciated that the supporting characters and siblings add to the sense that this is bigger than just McKenna and Declan.
The prose is easy and accessible, making this a quick, enjoyable read rather than something that requires a huge amount of concentration. And while the romance is obviously a major part of the story, I liked that the underlying theme is really about identity—figuring out who you are when the life you’ve always known starts turning out to be something completely different.
Overall, this was a charming paranormal romance with enough mystery and magical chaos to keep things interesting. And yes, I will be accepting applications for a Pepperoni spin-off immediately.

I would rate this story a 3.5⭐️
This story follows McKenna a witch, who had recently lost her parents and she has taken over their shop since their disappearance and Declan, a Pursuer, which is a fancy name for a monster hunter. When case brings Declan and his brother to McKenna’s small town, Declan is immediately suspicious, as he sees that lady he has seen in his dreams, twice, in the flesh, walking across the street. McKenna was sent to Declan on assignment to guide him into making a session to correct his life decisions. McKenna and Declan are inexplicably drawn to one another. When Declan and Wood’s monster case seems to involve McKenna, Declan takes the opportunity to use the case to get closer to her.
McKenna was a bit of a black cat. She liked her people, staying in and keeping to what she knew. She had unexpectedly taken over her parents witch shop when they went missing without a trace and presumed deceased. McKenna was drawn to Declan but she thought there was no potential due to the nature of his work, how are you meant to have a relationship with someone who travels around the country for his job.
Declan was a very dedicated Pursuer and loyal family orientated man. He was very good at his job, but he also had this pull to McKenna that he tried to ignore as long as he could. He was immediately protective over her and fell pretty hard and fast for her.
I really liked this story, it was definitely Supernatural (the tv show) coded. It truly felt like an entire season of the show condensed into one book. I did struggle a little with the chapter lengths, it made getting through one chapter a long process. Once you hit 50% I feel like there was just so much happening! Most chapters revealed a new secret that was to be uncovered and each layer brought a new complexity to the story. Overall I did enjoy the book and think if you loved Supernatural, you’ll have a good time reading this one.

Love, But Wilder was a fun mix of paranormal romance, witches, supernatural danger, family secrets, and that wonderful “I absolutely should not be attracted to you” energy. Declan Wilder has spent his life protecting people from paranormal threats and has very definite opinions about witches. Then McKenna Sawyer walks into his life and makes those opinions considerably more inconvenient. 😂
I really enjoyed McKenna and Declan together. McKenna has been carrying grief and responsibility for so long, yet she still has strength and fire when she needs it. Declan has that protective supernatural-hero energy while also being forced to question beliefs he has held for years. Their attraction creates some great tension, especially when neither of them is entirely sure whether they are supposed to trust one another in the first place.
The paranormal world was probably my favorite part. There are witches, Pursuers, prophecies, secrets, danger, and a much bigger conflict building around the romance. I liked that falling in love was not the only thing happening. McKenna and Declan are also discovering that the supernatural world they thought they understood may be considerably more complicated than either of them realized.
There were a few places where the amount of mythology, romance, and conflict made the story feel a little busy for me, but I was never bored. Overall, Love, But Wilder was witchy, romantic, suspenseful, and just a little nostalgic in the best way. If you grew up loving shows like Buffy, Charmed, or Supernatural and wished someone would add more spice and romance, this one should definitely be on your radar.

This book was an absolute rollercoaster🤯
I loved the fact that the mmcs were based on sam and dean from the show supernatural and it made me even more addicted to them. I loved the FMC she was so interesting and had me so intrigued to find out everything about her.
The plot was absolutely addictive, following the vibes of supernatural there were multiple supernatural beings, lots and lots of plot twists and so much damn drama😍. I was absolutely addicted right from the start and every twist and turn hooked me just that little bit more.
However There were two main things that i struggled with in this book, the writing itself wasnt the best? There were multiple sentences and words that just didnt fit and would bring me out of the story. This was not just some small spelling mistakes etc there were phrases and sentences that felt out of place.
The second being that the majority of the plot twists were info dumps, and not small ones. I still adored all the drama and plot twists but with them being thrown at me in the form of an info dump it became hard to take in/ keep track of.
I still had an amazing time reading for the vibes. However the two things i struggled with, are what led to me rating the book lower than a four star. I think if the plot twists had been more spread out i definitely would have rated this higher.

I really enjoyed this book! McKenna is a witch who jumps into other's dreams to warn them of death. When her parents magically disappear, she takes over running their flower and metaphysical shop with her sister, Tyler. Wow this was a fun one! I’ve watched every episode of the TV show “Supernatural” multiple times and this book gave me all those vibes, plus that dedication was perfection! From the very first page I was hooked.
McKenna and her sister are witches that visit people in their dreams to warn them of their deaths. These ladies’ parents have also gone missing, so they have taken over the family potion/flower shop. Declan is a monster hunter who is trying to solve a case of people disappearing in the town of Summerson. Well when McKenna jumps into Declan’s dreams these two figure out they are destined to meet and work together to find out what is happening in the town. While these two work on solving the mystery, they encounter demons, vampires, and ghosts.

there is paranormal creatures/people, magic, spice, humor and so much more. which is always my kind of vibe so of course i was all for this book. the two main characters, declan and mckenna had so much chemistry too. but they both evolve so much as the story progresses, there is so much self discovery while learning to not only trust eachother but themselves as well.
there is so much packed in this book but without feeling overwhelming in the slightest. and i loved the mystery aspect apart of this story as well. i wont give too much away since i dont do spoilers here. but this is definitely a book worth reading!

If you are a big fan of the Supernatural series, you’re going to love this book! You have demons, withces, the First, hunters (technically called the “pursuers” in the book”, the Council. It touches base on the politics of the hierarchy of the supernatural beings, and DRAGONS!
Declain is SO Dean coded! He is hot and he knows it. He is also the brute of the brothers but a softy at heart. Then we hav McKenna, my darling McKenna. She is this sweet witch that you think is innocent but is not really innocent *wink**wink*. When I tell you I gasped when she defended Kai from Peter… the BACKBONE!! I freaking loved her.
My favourite part of the book is the book of revelations. (in the book, they refer to it as the “Days of epiphanies” but we like this better). They drop one bomb and you may think that’s the arc of the story. Like “I get it now. That’s what’s gonna happen”. NO MA’AM! Ms. Cassie Graham was like “you know what? What’s one more revelation?”… then there’s one more… then, another…. At 90% of the book, you would think she’s done dropping bombs but then BOOM! One more revelation to take us home.
You have suspense, thriller, romance, magic, dragons, and spice! If you love paranormal romances with spice, pick this book up!!!! I enjoyed this book immensely!

This gave me major Supernatural meets Hocus Pocus vibes! witches, monsters, dragons, dreams, mystery and just the right amount of chaos. 🖤✨
McKenna’s life is anything but normal, especially after her parents mysteriously disappear. Between running her family’s metaphysical shop, dream-jumping and warning people of their impending deaths, she already has enough going on… and then Declan Wilder enters the picture.
I really enjoyed the supernatural elements throughout this story, but it was the mystery surrounding McKenna’s parents and the secrets being uncovered that kept me turning the pages. There’s plenty happening, and I loved watching everything slowly come together.
And of course… Declan. 👀 The chemistry and connection between him and McKenna added another layer that I really enjoyed.

Well, this is a super fun, enchanting read! We get spice & magic & humor & lots of heart. Plus! The surprises & twists!! Omh, so good!! 😁
I was pulled right into the story, tho I did struggle with it a bit a few chapters in. Nothing specific, just me. One specific thing I didn't jive with is a particular favorite word of Declan's, but again, that was a me thing. Other than that, I was all-in for this story!
Declan & McKenna have a connection right from their first meeting, tho they don't understand all it entails. As they pursue that connection, even when they think it will only last a short time due to each of their responsibilities in life, their bond continues to strengthen & they can't stay away from each other. And it's awesome!
I enjoyed each part of their stories, individually & as a couple, but the best, the true gold in this story as a whole, is when the whole group is together. Declan's brother, Wood. McKenna's sister, Tyler. Kai, their unusual sidekick. The five of them together, discovering twists & learning secrets... so fun!! And!! Pepperoni! What a great name for a Familiar. 🐶

When they cross paths outside of the game, a bunch of mysterious things happen. I had so much fun reading "Love, But Wilder." This was a paranormal romance novel that also featured a mystery plot. Mckenna and Declan were a super cute pair. The chemistry was immediate. This book was like a favorite paranormal show. It was an adventure with mystery, laughs, and some steamy bits.
What a fantastic book! Can't wait for the next release! This is a must-read for anyone into Paranormal Romance or Supernatural stuff.

Love, But Wilder by Cassie Graham was such a fun and enjoyable romance! I loved the chemistry between the characters and the way their relationship developed throughout the story. There was a great mix of romance, emotion, and just enough tension to keep me turning the pages. The characters felt genuine and easy to connect with, and I especially enjoyed watching them work through their feelings and the obstacles standing in their way. The story had plenty of swoony moments, but it also had heart, which made the romance feel meaningful rather than rushed. Cassie Graham’s writing pulled me into the story quickly, and the pacing kept things moving without feeling overwhelming. Overall, Love, But Wilder was a sweet, entertaining read that left me smiling when I reached the end!

This was such a fun paranormal mystery, romance and self discovery story! Witches, monster hunters, dream jumping, missing parents, family secrets and familiar animal. If there's a familiar, I'm in! In this one Pepperoni a corgi stole the show for me.
I love that the romance developed naturally alongside the mystery. The FMC and MMc had great chemistry and a compelling slow burn, while the investigation of her missing parents kept the story moving.
My favorite part was tha worldbuilding. The cozy small town life blending seamlessly with witches, monsters and supernatural abilities gave the story a charming paranormal atmosphere while still leaving room for darker mysteries.
Overall, it's a cozy, magical paranormal romance mystery with just the right amount of chaos.

This took me a lot longer than normal to get through. I think the reason was because there’s so much happening, so much lore and world building to get clear on and put into context in my brain.
It wasn’t like a massive fantasy novel worth of these things, but enough to slow me down.
This felt like Supernatural meets romance in a lot of ways.
Witches and hunters (Persuers), leviathan and vampires etc. As a Supernatural fan it was highly entertaining.
I loved how the story kept evolving and we kept learning more about these characters. So much was crammed into the pages and it moved really quickly.
Even things like the big bad were built up, but then dealt with surprisingly efficiently.
All in all an enjoyable read and I’m really looking forward to more in the second book of the duet.

3.75/5...I loved the mix of romance, magic, mystery, and self-discovery, and the characters made the story especially fun to follow. McKenna and Declan had great chemistry, and I enjoyed uncovering the mysteries surrounding McKenna’s parents alongside them. My only issue was that it felt a little slow getting to the climax. Once everything started happening, though, a lot happened at once, and there were quite a few things to keep up with. Despite that, the story came together really well and finished very strongly. Absolutely amazing book I could not think it's praises enough. You know the best way to describe this book is exactly the way the author described it in the blurb.
It’s a love story, yeah, but it’s a lot wilder. That's exactly what it is a wild love story where a witch named McKenna and a monster hunter named Declan their siblings have to work together to find McKenna's parents. This is a up and down journey and it is one that is absolutely amazing. You will stay on the edge of your seat through it like what's happening next oh my god did this really happen. It's very much worth the read.

An entertaining and fun read. I really liked how the story built up, unraveled, and then came together. It's got depth with great world building. There's even loads of suspense surrounded by some mystery. McKenna and Declan were wonderful characters. I liked the romance that developed between these two as well. I loved the characters, the world building and absolutely loved the supernatural element. Supernatural books are my favorite to read and throw in some romance and its a slam dunk for me!!!! This eas the first time I read from this author but won't be the last, I adored this book. Thsnk you so much to the author and the author agency for letting me read to review

The authors note at the beginning 🔥 I absolutely LOVE Dean & the whole supernatural series. I was like ooooo I got this I have 15 seasons under my belt I have seent things but nay nay, nothing could’ve prepared me for the last 40%. @the_cassiegraham threw in plot twist after plot twist and kept me guessing. The spice 🌶️🌶️🌶️😜
I loved all the magical aspects, supernatural beings, and just how badass McKenna and Declan are. If you’re a fan of the show, buckle up because this is all of that and so much more. 5 ⭐️👏🏼

As a Supernatural girl, when Cassie said Dean Winchester but with spice, I knew I was going to love it!
Love, but Wilder is such a good mix of magic, romance, paranormal mysteries, and lots of family secrets! McKenna is a witch who is trying to keep her life and family's shop together after the disappearance of her parents. Enter Declan, broody, grumpy monster hunter. Their chemistry is off the charts from the beginning, but it never overshadows the main plot. When secrets start coming out, they quickly realize that her parent's disappearance isn't the only mystery that needs to be solved. It's such a beautiful journey of self-discovery for both Declan and McKenna. There are a lot of twists and turns, but everything fell into place perfectly.

This book had me hooked right from the first page and I was engaged till the end! What a delightful mix of paranormal and magic, mystery, humor and romance! I am so grateful to The Author Agency and Cassie Graham for the chance to read “Love, But Wilder!” I loved these characters and their dynamics and the found family trope was fabulous. The humor was great and the spice was spicing! Such a great book with a lot of heart and I can’t wait for the next!
