A interesting and informative read on schizophrenia and the misdiagnosis of schizophrenia. Highly recommend for any person wanting a clearer understanding of the illness.
Still early in my attempt to understand what it is all about. It is a short booklet and easy to follow. A major emphasis on getting the correct diagnosis but not sure why that is so! My near on fifty years of acquaintance with people with mental illness and the treatments dished out over the years has lead me to think the medical profession is so quick to hand out tablets, with no real answers. The book ends up pointing out there is a way forward and people do recover. But at this point the detail is not there. But I think that is to do with the odd places in numbers one here one there and what they do is not promote medicine well there is no money in that nor in people getting cured thus drowned out. Also the successes are hidden by the share number who follow the latest medicine fad. But the author does give the names of the three successful people in treatment around 75% plus level. I am keen for answers as the problem has arisen real close to me.
