This book is not for the faint of heart. Although if you've already read Mastered (which I recommend) than you have an idea what you're in for.
This book picks up where Mastered ends but has a lot more suspense and intrigue. This is no longer simply a romance story. Things change dramatically for Missy and James in this book and there are some very unexpected characters that play a significant part.

Way to hit a homerun Ms Silver with Trussed!! I have to say out of the 2 book saga Trussed had to be my favorite. There was total HOTNESS, suspense, darkness and a shit ton of emotion!
Trussed picks up right where Mastered left off with Missy finally back in James's bed. Now this made me EXTEMELY happy because they are perfect for each other!
"JAMES perceived her needs as if the road map were stamped into his DNA.
Polite society would never understand, but, theirs was truly a perfect fusion - right up there with bricks and mortar and chocolate and peanut butter..."
However little do they know Ethan's not a happy camper, with the way Missy walked away from him, and is planning his revenge. This is where things get interesting because I so didn't see any of this coming.
I highly recommend reading Trussed if you are all about books with BDSM, romance, suspense, mystery, and a HOT alpha male who will do anything to keep his woman safe and happy.

We once again meet up with James and Missy immediately after her traumatizing ordeal at the hands of her ex husband.
James managed to save his "little one" and now Missy is staying with James for her own safety.
While her ex husband sits in a prison cell, there's one more "suitor" who is so obsessed with Missy, he will stop at nothing to get his revenge.
Things are going well between James and Missy, even though he won't let her out by herself, again for her own safety. A planned weekend away to visit her son at college is her only exception.
She enjoys lunches and spa days with her girlfriends, and it's as she's driving home from one of these, alone, that Ethan, her obsessive stalker, realizes now is his chance to abduct her, and see her pay for what she did to him.
James blames himself for Missy's disappearance. If only his work meeting had started on time, he would've been home to take her wherever she needed to go.
Missy knows she's in serious danger and the one person who she knows she can count on, has no idea where Ethan taken her. What he does to Missy is unthinkable, but it is what you would expect a deranged man to do.
James needs to find her, and soon! He has a small "army" at his neck and call, but to no avail. Searching the numerous residences that they know Ethan has sprawled across the city, time and time again they come up empty handed.
In a turn of good luck, they track Ethan's whereabouts to a country estate owned by his father.
When James and his posse arrive at the estate, what they learn about Ethan soon have them seeing red.
Will James make it in time to save Missy once again, or will the depravity of Ethan's doings finally have Missy taking her last breaths?
An absolutely mesmerizing read that I just simply could not put down.

Finally after a long anticipation we have Master James Colton back into our lives.
Missy had regretted her harsh decision of removing the collar that her master had graciously placed around her delicate neck. This had her in tears because she knows he's gone from her life. But after saving her from her abusive ex-husband there was a slight ray of hope. Will this be enough for her to get back the collar she easily took for granted?
James Colton was a man that never played games with anyone so when he made the decision of collaring his new sub he knew he had to forget about his ex-wife/sub, she has been dead for a while and it was time to be with Missy completely. When he found his collar where Missy left it, he knew she was gone forever but in his heart she belonged there with him.
Many things will James and Missy have to face in order for them to go back to where their trust was prior to Missy's collar removal. As always there is evil lurking in the shadows and a maniac will want revenge on James but how much pain will he inflict on him? How will Missy's well-being be in danger?
As always Ms. Silver doesn't disappoint when she wrote the sequel for Mastered. This story will leave you hot and bother. James and Missy's sex scenes are hot with a capital H!!
The wait was well worth it when it came to read how James and Missy's story came to an end. If you haven't yet read Mastered you must read it prior to Trussed. You will not want to miss this story.

In Mastered we meet and learn that James is the Master and Missy discover's she is a submissive. Now she knows where she belongs in the safety of James arms and at his feet, but she still has alot to learn like, there are rules to a true Master / Slave relationship. Missy want to so bad to prove she is worthy to wear her Master's collar, again. When things look like they are falling into place. A person from Missy's past comes back for what he feels is his right and he will get his revenge the way he sees fit. Can James get to her in time. James is determined to not loose his Soul Mate, it's a loss he can't go through again and survive. With two people that fit so well and find their place in this world and are Destin to be as one. Will they over come the baggage they both bring, do they have what it takes to be in each other's life. Well, I will say this I am hanging on to find out what's next for James and Missy.

I was blessed to beta read this wonderful novel. May I kiss your feet Madam Silver! This is the second installment in the Mastered Saga - I will first mention that you must get "Mastered" and fall for James first.
Trussed is the delicious continuation. James and Missy are reunited, and the BDSM relationship continues and grows. Missy wants to earn her collar back, and James well he is going to make her earn it! (Much to the readers delight!)
The twists and turns in this one will keep you turning the pages. The deviant delicacies abound. If you want a book that makes you feel DO NOT miss this series. Ms. Silver writing is delightful, her characters are fresh and well rounded and the story twists will blow you away.
Thank-you for another wonderful novel! If you are wanting to learn about the BDSM lifestyle - this one is very real and extremely well written. It is red-hot and brimming with emotion!

This is the sequel book to Mastered.....and I for one have been waiting for this to come out. Just when I thought the first book was amazing this one was even better.
James & Missy are so very happy together and living the life of a Dominate and his submissive. In this book Missy must win back the trust of her Dom James and win back her collar, which is a subs most treasure gift from her Dom. James truly shows his love and dedication to his Missy. I was anxiously awaiting more of James and Missy’s story. If you haven’t read Mastered yet, then you really need to read it first. I loved these two characters and K.L. made me crazy stalker-love them with Trussed. I loved the dynamic between Dom and sub after a loss of trust and growing that trust back. It shows that James and Missy are like any other couple D/s or not. James’ love for Missy is sigh-worthy and the lengths that Missy goes to attempting to get her collar back are great. When I strapped in for this journey, I didn’t realize the roller coaster of emotions I was going to ride. I cried, I got mad and then I sobbed again. Trussed is an outstanding sequel to an amazing book, Mastered. I highly recommend this one.

Now this is what I'm talking about!
Mastered was all about the sex. This has thriller thrown in. Sprinkle that on my morning cereal and I'm happy. I could not put this down!
So, in my previous review of Ms Silver's first book in the Mastered series--Mastered, I read it and enjoyed it and was left shocked, blushing but also more knowledgeable about the ethics/details behind a Dom/Sub relationship. This book however, took a sinister turn I did not expect.
To sum up book one, boy meets girl, boy finger fucks girl in mouth of parking lot, boy is Dom, girl is his Sub, and there's tons of sex, societal issues, falling out, making up, life issues. But it's all good. Or so you think. In the first book, Missy, the MC, falls out with James, the Dom (also MC) and she tries to get back to her mundane life, even though it feels like a shoe that's too tight and she's trying to shove her tootsies in it to make it fit.
She goes on a date with--his name escapes me, it's nearly midnight, give me a break--a man who is rich, very insistent, and has the hots for her. You initially see him as a harmless, if not a tad arrogant, rich douchebag. She sleeps with him, whilst thinking of James because that helps her get in the mood, and does so purely out of desperation to try to be normal and get back into her old life.
What you don't realise, and I didn't see it coming either, is that 'what's his name douchebag' is a psycho--with a nasty juvenile record FYI--who is determined to get revenge on the bitch who left him hanging in the restaurant, and after using him for sex as well. It's the biggest insult to injury and pride and the guy is uber pissed. Waiting patiently, he plots to capture her and fuck her up.
This whole novel had me on the edge of my seat, and while the sex scenes are still there and just as juicy and *gasp* how vulgar *gasp* but I secretly like it *gasp*, the novel has more layers and substance with this added thriller, suspense vibe. It's a nice and unexpected twist and it really works. Genius!
Oh, and in my previous review of book one, I did make two mild complaints about the overuse of italic words (usually involving exclamation marks, which as you may know from past reviews, I adore! NOT) and also the lack of scenes showing the couple as a couple when not twisted around each other's naked, sweaty bodies. It was nice to see them interacting in a mundane setting, and the italic words of 'whore' 'submissive' 'master', worked well this time. I didn't see one of those words put in an awkward, unnecessary place this time. So, thumbs up. The author outdid herself on this one.
Summary: Great plot, full of mystery, thrills and sexy time. Characters are even more layered and complex. Very entertaining, even more so than the first--if that's possible. No complaints or criticism to speak of, other than it ended!
Would I recommend this book? Hell yes. Even those who are not down with BDSM or Dom/Sub relationships and have a pole up their arseholes (not in a kinky way either) will still appreciate the thriller/mystery vibe.

I thought this book was really good. The story is well written and the characters just jump off the page. Normally I don't read a book on that is this graphic but the first book pulled me Review of Trussed.
I thought this book was really good. The story is well written and the characters just jump off the page. Normally I don't read a book that is this graphic but the first book pulled me in and I had to read the follow up book. There were phrases that I found kind of gross in some of the scenes but I was able to get passed that. I wish that missy could be a little less weak and accepting. I would like a little power struggle or her standing up for herself. I understand that she is a submissive but that doesn't mean she should be a doormat.
The scene where she plays with a ball like a dog with her master made me giggle because it just turned things so light hearted. Then I felt so bad for what happened to missy that it was hard to read. If I were this woman, I would never want to leave the house again. All in all this book was worth the wait and I hope there will be more to come.

She's used to the badgering of her ex husband, but he's become more violent. I read the box set.
I was a little skeptical to read anything in this genre because it is completely outside of my box. However, I really enjoyed it. I actually learned quite a few things. It is a unique twist of BDSM world. I feel like I understand it a little more now that I read this book. It has hot and sexy scenes. I was more impressed with the story line and the understanding of the how and why these relationships work. James is the dominant. He is rich and sexy but has a sad past. You really get insight how caring he truly is. Now Missy is the submissive and I feel in love with her. I felt like I connected to her character the most. Overall I suggest people give this saga a chance because it is a great look inside a interesting lifestyle.

I loved this book couldn't put it down. This story was so well written that each chapter kept getting better & better. I loved all the characters especially James & Missy, the love that they have for each other is so wonderfull. I hope to read more about these characters in the future especially if Missy is pregnant I would like to read how James would react as a father & christopher as a brother.

Trussed is an amazing and spellbinding read. Continuing the journey with James and Missy is a true eye opening experience. Again the author is so great that you can actually see it play out like a movie in your mind. The story shows the twists and turns of a Master and Submissive relationship. I pray there is more to come from James and Missy.

To me this one was better than the first, only because of the action. I also connected with Master and his sub this time around. Everything is going fina and dandy between the two when Bam!! The crazy nut showed up and put her thru the ringer/torture, but she was a strong one...Of course a HEA, plenty of sexy time and I do mean Sexy time. Very good:)

The end to the mastered saga was a-max-ing!. Not only do you get the hea of a master and his newly found submissive. You get a thriller with the deviant spoiled rich kid.
