To learn bushcraft, one must adjust the state of mind. Instead of going through a series of complex mental processes when coming up with a decision, one should reform to a simpler, more primal state. It aids in prioritizing the more immediate needs. Even if it is just for a little while, one should experience the independence and empowerment of living by the moment and in using the forces of nature to the advantage. He should take time to learn and enjoy time honored traditions of hunting, foraging, crafting and the like. All of which shall be taught in detail in this eBook.
Clearly written by someone who only heard about bushcraft, not actually practiced any. Igniting tinder by rubbing two dry rocks together is only one example. Reading this is a waste of time. Pick out a book by Larry Dean Olson, Scott Jones of David Canterbury instead, for starters.
To be fair I got this book for free. So my only real complaint is that the title sAys 101 basic guide . But I'm beNd total there are only 3 chapters. So I find it very misleading.
About ten pages of book and ten pages of book list ads. If this is the book you grab to survive good luck, if you grab it to use as tp and fire starter good job
Read it for free if you know nothing about bushcraft to get an idea of some subjects to research. Don't try making sparks by running two rocks together.
