In a future where Paranormals co-exist with humans under a World Treaty, Detective Eve Sinclair heads the New York City Paranormal Police Squad. When a claw-marked body is discovered, her Alpha Werewolf boyfriend, Jake Monroe, is accused of the murder. With a war brewing between Packs, Eve must get him out of jail and clear his name. And there's only one person she can turn to for help.
Micah Saint James is the Vampire who saved her life and broke her heart. Seeing him after seven years brings up feelings she’s been running from ever since.
The price for his One dinner. Then Eve never has to see him again. But when it’s interrupted by a second murder, the stakes are raised as Micah becomes entangled in the investigation.
As they hunt for a Paranormal serial killer, emotions and temperatures rise, and Eve is forced to question whether her feelings for Micah are as buried as she’d hoped, and if her relationship with Jake is as solid as she thought. Caught between feelings for a Werewolf and a Vampire, can she solve the murders before the killer strikes again?
There's a monster to be captured even as her carefully constructed life unravels. But it’s not only Eve’s past that refuses to remain buried.
That ending just pissed me off….. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC of this.

I hate love triangles. Like to me it is so oblivious she should choose Micah. I mean Jake is an alpha asshole and I hate how he gets so mad that is wolf comes out and it’s like he is trying to intimidate her into not seeing Micah. Also he literally almost scarred her face because he lost control and clawed at her face. And she’s like he didn’t mean to. Girlllllll that’s what all women say in bad relationships🤦🏻♀️ I’m not saying Micah is perfect because believe me I have my gripes with him too. Also Eve. She is such a pick me girl that it got frustrating at parts. She was also mainly focused on the physical aspect of her relationship and I never really saw why she loved Jake. Like all they did was have sex. And she’s kept being like I love both… girl the way you describe Micah is totally different than Jake…
Thank you NetGalley for the eARC of Fangs, Fur, and Murder.
I DNF'd this book at 16%. It has a lot of potential but I wanted it for the Twilight vibes and it just does not deliver on that past a human, a werewolf, and a vampire love triangle. Eve is constantly trying to prove how tough she is, either by partaking in *relations* while her boyfriend of 3 years is in custody or using language like "I want him by the balls!", it just seemed like a caricature of a person. Like the femme version of a neckbeard writing this. With that, the first chapter of the book is choppy, containing sentences like (paraphrasing, not a direct quote) "I brush my shoulder length dark hair behind my ears to talk to my best friend who is stunning and also happens to be the medical examiner".
The murder mystery hooked me, but the moment Micah appeared, I knew I wasn’t putting this book down. 🧛
⭐4/5
🌶️4/5
Fangs, Fur & Murder by Elishevah Monrad is a fast-paced paranormal romance and supernatural crime novel set in a futuristic, urban-fantasy version of New York. Told through Eve’s first-person POV, it combines a gripping murder investigation, supernatural politics, an emotionally complicated love triangle and some *chef’s kiss* open-door spice.
Eve Sinclair is the hardworking but impulsive head of New York’s Paranormal Police Squad. When a human man is found brutally murdered, the evidence points towards Jake Monroe, Eve’s boyfriend and the Alpha of the city’s dominant Werewolf Pack. With tensions between the Packs and the human authorities already close to boiling over, Eve turns to Micah Saint James: the ancient Vampire who saved her life, broke her heart and has remained firmly in her past for seven years.
The opening morgue scene pulled me in immediately, and the story maintained that momentum throughout. The investigation soon pulls in rival Werewolf Packs, the Vampire Coven and New York’s criminal underworld, with every new discovery making the situation even messier. I genuinely had no idea who was responsible, but the eventual reveal made sense alongside the clues we had been given. The main case is resolved by the end, but a larger threat remains hanging over the series.
Eve felt completely believable as the head of a specialist police squad, but she is also impulsive, emotionally complicated and occasionally willing to bend the rules. Her flaws made her feel realistic without undermining her strength. I particularly enjoyed watching her trust her instincts, defend her authority and refuse to let either romantic interest make her smaller.
Eve has believable chemistry with both men, but her connection with Micah is on another level. Their relationship combines intense physical attraction with years of shared history, unresolved heartbreak and genuine emotional intimacy. When they finally communicate honestly about the misunderstanding that separated them seven years earlier, it delivers the strongest emotional moment in the book.
Micah is possessive in the dangerously powerful Vampire way I expect from paranormal romance, but he also respects Eve’s independence. He knows she will follow dangerous leads, trusts her to stand on her own feet and never expects her to abandon her career or allow him to make her decisions.
Team Micah without hesitation.
Jake and Eve initially share convincing affection and physical chemistry, and their established three-year relationship makes the love triangle genuinely complicated. Eve does not want to betray him, and her renewed contact with Micah begins because she is trying to secure Jake’s freedom and solve the murders.
Unfortunately, Jake’s jealousy gradually becomes controlling. He has kept Eve separate from his life as Alpha, undermines her professional authority and repeatedly fails to recognise that she neither wants nor needs him to protect her by excluding her. By the end, his attempts to save their relationship feel driven more by desperation and fear of losing her than meaningful growth. Eve does not want Jake to abandon his Pack for her. She wants him to trust her, respect her abilities and let her into his whole life. It became increasingly clear to me that she had outgrown him.
Ruby was easily my favourite supporting character. As Eve’s best friend and New York’s Chief Medical Examiner, she plays an important role in the investigation and is always willing to call everyone out when necessary. I also loved the chapter titles, particularly “Oh No, Another Murder”, “Homicide Hotline, How Can We Help You?” and “Murdery Things”.
The paranormal side of the world-building worked well for me. Vampires, Werewolves and magic users have distinct cultures, powers and systems of justice, while the World Treaty creates believable tension between supernatural independence and human law. With every faction believing someone else may be targeting them, the murders have the potential to cause far more destruction than the deaths alone.
The futuristic setting was less successful. Elements such as microchips, ocular social feeds, unusual transport and crime-scene techbots add some interesting details, but they rarely feel important to the plot. Much of the story could have unfolded in present-day New York without anything significant changing, so parts of the technology felt more decorative than fully developed.
The central murder mystery is resolved, but the overarching villain remains at large and the romance ends on a major cliffhanger.
And OH MY GOD—what an absolutely unhinged place to end it. 😭 I finished this obsessed, furious and desperately needing Book 2.
Basically: loved it, hate Jake.
Tropes Paranormal murder mystery Love triangle Second-chance romance Established relationship Vampire × Human Werewolf × Human Forced team-up Romantic cliffhanger
Content Warnings Murder and violent death Crime scenes and autopsy Blood and blood-sharing Violence involving guns, knives, claws and fangs Parental murder Grief and trauma Dark magic and demon summoning Kidnapping Controlling and possessive behaviour Accidental partner injury Relationship ultimatum
I would recommend this to readers who enjoy urban fantasy, paranormal romance, supernatural crime investigations, capable but flawed heroines and genuinely complicated love triangles. Despite wanting more from the futuristic setting, I found Fangs, Fur & Murder addictive, steamy and suspenseful, and I will absolutely continue the series.
Thank you to Curse Breaker Publishing and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
I was really enjoying this book. Then I got to the ending and immediately thought, “Oh, so we’re just going to leave me like THAT?” I get why it ended that way, but I hated it. And since this is clearly going to be a series, my annoyance is probably only going to grow while I wait for the next book. I am not built for incomplete series.
This gave me major Twilight vibes: vampire, werewolf, human girl, love triangle. Except Eve wants BOTH of them, and as someone who is all about a why-choose situation, I was definitely entertained by that part.
Jake, the alpha werewolf, was a mixed bag for me. I usually love an alpha, but the anger issues he seems to use as a way to try to control Eve? Not so much. And trying to keep her separate from his pack life definitely didn’t win him any points with me.
Micah, on the other hand? Now we’re talking. Rich, powerful, respectful, and not a complete asshole. I see you, Micah.
I actually liked Eve. She’s determined, strong-willed, and clearly capable, but she frustrated me sometimes. She makes way too many excuses for Jake, and I desperately wanted her to just sit down and have an adult conversation with Micah about their past. I also kept thinking, girl, you’re the detective. Why are these two men controlling what you know? She’s trying to solve murders while navigating the supernatural world, so I understand the balancing act, but sometimes she felt like she was taking the backseat in her own investigation.
The murder mystery was interesting, the story kept me reading, and there’s a little spice, although this definitely isn’t spice-heavy.
Overall, I enjoyed it. I just have some unresolved feelings about that ending. If paranormal romance, supernatural murder mysteries, vampires, and werewolves are your thing, I think this is worth checking out. Just don’t expect me to be emotionally okay with that ending.
I had such a good time reading this! Absolutely devoured it!
Firstly, I love the world! All the futuristic elements had me so intrigued! Can we get someone to make this tech please?! This was quite unique for me as I haven’t read many books with this setting (typically used to more modern day or medieval-esque). I really enjoyed this change to my usual reads.
Now, the whole premise of this book was absolutely something I knew I would enjoy. I have always consumed supernatural/paranormal media- Buffy, Supernatural, True Blood, TVD, Twilight etc. This book has Vampires and Werewolves so I was buzzing! Vampires and Werewolves in this world are known to humans and are part of a treaty to live harmoniously alongside them, this again is an element I’m particularly fond of. Again, executed amazingly and the explanation of how this came to be is threaded well into the story.
The characters, my god the characters! I adore Eve (FMC). She’s well-written, likeable, tough but not to a fault and she cares about her people. I liked the dynamics of her relationships with the other characters too. Being mindful of spoilers, I won’t go into the other characters but they are equally as likeable as Eve… some maybe moreso than others….but I will leave it at that! Read it!!
Special mention to the chapter names!! I love chapter names! And some of them were so brilliantly named!
I think if you like this genre, then you will absolutely love Fangs, Fur & Murder. I know I will absolutely be reading the next book!
*ARC provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for the opportunity.
Firstly, I would love to thank NetGallery for sending me the ARC copy of this book to read. I'll also add that unfortunately I was unable to get this book onto my Kobo eReader and therefore had to read it on my iPad which is never a comfortable experience. I feel that it may have tainted my view on the book. I rated this book a 3 star with mild spice.
The story starts off incredibly strong, it is thrown right into the thick of a murder investigation and a really gripping start to the book. I was captivated from the get go and really enjoyed it until about half way through.
The world building was pretty spot on, I absolutely loved the idea of being in a futuristic New York City and I felt like the characters were written really well. The plot was great and the crimes/investigation I found really interesting- I was 100% in it for the plot and I didn't enjoy the romance at all. The FMC and her confused feelings really frustrated me- she was throwing around the word love way too much for my liking. Once the murders were solved at like the 80% point I was so tempted to DNF the ending.
I do think that all the characters were written well- I loved Ruby Blue and thought she really added something as the best friend. The gripe for me was with the FMC, she felt stuck between this bad ass detective and caring way too much about both relationships to be taken seriously as a strong, female lead. I hated her jealousy and I hated how she slated Jake for also being jealous when she very clearly wanted Micha. It just made no sense to me unfortunately.
Overall, I did enjoy it but i wouldn't read again.
Fangs, Fur & Murder is a light-hearted paranormal/urban fantasy in NYC. The title and cover are striking and instantly grabbed my attention. The story within pulled at my heartstrings and the thrilling action fully immersed me from beginning to end.
In this story we are introduced to Eve Sinclair, a detective working for the paranormal police squad. I love how she doesn't let anything detract her from her career and her morals drive her to do good. I loved reading her character arc and got a full-picture experience with her that felt realistic and relatable. We are also introduced to Jake and Micah who are a werewolf and vampire respectively. Their respective chemistry's with Eve were entertaining and enticing. I definitely gravitated towards Micah. What ties them together is the plot. A serial killer is on the loose and due to the various background of not only the main protagonists but also the side characters, the investigation will take readers on a journey full of action and adventure. It was an easy read for me and I love how everything built up on its way to the end.
If you enjoy all things supernatural, justice, and some steamy tension that will keep you on your toes, then Fangs, Fur & Murder is a book you have to add to your TBR.
Thank you to Curse Breaker Publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity to read this ARC.
I really enjoyed this read - a definite nod to a younger me and my love for all things Twilight!!
This delivered on so many fronts - the Fangs (Micah Saint James) and the Fur (Jake Monroe) will undoubtedly divide people into their favourite (I'm absolutely Team Micah), the murders are a great plot line, and I really wasn't sure where the story was going.
The supporting cast of characters feel like they belong in the story, and not just there to fill lines on the page. I did on occasion get annoyed with Detective Eve (the FMC) and the continual self reference to being a badass. I'm also not sure the futuristic elements added that much value to the plot or story in general - it would have worked just as well set in current times. It was for these 2 reasons I gave a score of 4/5.
I enjoyed the worldbuilding aspects, the relationships between the 2 packs, the treaty, the coven, and the inclusion of New Orleans with its associated histories.
There were a couple of mild spicy bits (nothing overly graphic) but they felt appropriate the for storyline. The ending was not at all what I anticipated, and I'll absolutely be keeping a look out for Book 2.
If you like paranormal crime, the supernatural, vampires, werewolves all with a hint of spice (the love triangle is swoony) this will be right up your street.
Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and the author for providing me with a copy in exchange for an honest review.
I want to start by saying that I really had a good time with this book. The atmosphere and setting were so well done that it felt like watching a movie. (The vibes strongly reminded me of Gotham in a way)
The murder mysteries were also so fun to follow, and I genuinely couldn’t guess anything.
And the tension we had in here?? It was so thick you could’ve cut it with a knife. That’s why I’m personally team Mecah -Who Did This to You?- Saint James. Even though I like Jake, he just can’t compare. Sorry! (Not sorry) Which leads us to that cliffhanger at the end?? CRIMINAL!! Absolutely criminal…
The main reason I didn’t rate this higher though, was the writing. It just didn’t work for me personally. I also found that some of the characters could act a little childish at times, which was especially noticeable considering they’re supposed to be centuries old.
And while I love a strong FMC, I’m not a huge fan when she constantly refers to herself as a badass. It starts feeling a little repetitive after a while.
But overall I genuinely had a lot of fun reading this, and the atmosphere, mystery, and tension definitely kept me hooked.
This book lands at a 3.75/5 stars for me (rounding up to a 4 on Goodreads).
I feel a bit conflicted about this one! On one hand, I really enjoyed the mystery and the paranormal elements. On the other hand, the pacing of the overall plot, the lead character's arc, and the love triangle didn't fully click for me.
World-Building The setting was an interesting blend of futuristic technology and environmental detail. Combining high-tech concepts with classic paranormal tropes like vampires and werewolves was a unique choice—it took some adjustment since I'm so used to traditional gothic settings, but the concept itself was intriguing.
Characters & Romance I usually love strong, confident female leads. While Eve definitely showed resilience and courage when things got tense, her confidence occasionally tipped into arrogance for me, especially in how she navigated her relationships with the two MMCs. As for the main male characters, both have swoon-worthy qualities alongside their share of red flags.
Despite my mixed feelings on the pacing and romance dynamics, the hook with the MMCs and the remaining unresolved mysteries have me curious enough that I’ll likely pick up the next book in the series to see where things go!
Fangs, Fur and Murder was such a fun read! It actually reminded me a lot of the Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter series, which I absolutely adored, so reading this gave me a little bit of that nostalgic feeling while still being its own story.
I loved the combination of paranormal mystery and romance. Trying to figure out what was behind the murders kept me invested, while all the complicated history and feelings between Eve, Jake, and Micah added another layer entirely.
And I have to admit, I am a sucker for a good love triangle when it’s done well, and this one definitely had me questioning who I wanted Eve to choose. Werewolf boyfriend or the vampire who broke her heart seven years ago? That is a deliciously messy problem to have. 😂
The paranormal world, murder investigation, romance, and characters all worked together to keep me hooked, but that ending?! You cannot leave me there! Now I NEED to know what happens next, what else is going to be uncovered, and most importantly... WHO IS SHE GOING TO CHOOSE?!
Such an entertaining paranormal mystery with plenty of romance, supernatural drama, and an ending that leaves you immediately wanting the next book. I really enjoyed this one and will absolutely be continuing the series! 🐺🧛♂️🖤
First, let me just say TEAM MICAH!!! Fangs, Fur & Murder has a little bit of everything I want in a paranormal romance: murder, suspense, supernatural politics, a love triangle, and enough drama to keep me pages turning! Eve is a bada**. She takes absolutely no crap and will fiercely protect the people she loves. I loved watching her navigate everything thrown her way because she is definitely not the kind of heroine who sits around waiting to be rescued. And then there’s Micah. A vampire who only has eyes for Eve? YES, PLEASE. And let’s just say this man saved her life in more ways than one. Team Micah all the way! Then we have Jake, our jealous werewolf. While his jealousy was a little much for me at times, there’s no denying that he makes Eve happy for the most part and that definitely adds another layer to the love triangle. What really stood out to me was the world building. The supernatural world unfolds beautifully. If you love paranormal romance, vampires, werewolves, murder mysteries, supernatural politics, suspense, and a messy love triangle, definitely read this! But seriously, TEAM MICAH.
Thank-you to the Author for the arc copy of this book!
WHERE DO I BEGIN?! I only do spoiler free reviews, so without giving too much information, here I go..
The MFC was pretty interesting, I really enjoyed her career, and how she got to where she was. Her back story made her more multi-faceted. The ONE thing I personally didn't like about her was that she refers to herself as badass. I like when the characters are more humble.
Both MMCs had good things about them, but I'm a Micah fan, personally. 😏
I truly enjoyed both of the men, in different ways. But without giving spoilers, I don't forgive you Jake!
The side characters had enough to do with the story to make them all interested too, but I didn't feel a huge connection to any of them in particular. Low-key like Janus though 😂
The STORY was super interesting! I loved guessing what was going to happen next, and it was super enjoyable as it came together. (We all like the bad guy right? Or am I a lil freak?)
Anyway, if you like crime and paranormal books, def recommend 💅🏻
In this paranormal romance our MFC Evangeline is a detective with the Paranormal Police Squad (PPS for short). When a murder puts Jake, her werewolf boyfriend, in prison she has to confront someone from her past and ask them for help. Who is this someone? He's Micah, a Billionaire Vampire and leader of the New York Coven. Not only does Eve struggle with solving the case of whos murdering in her city, she's also struggling with who holds her heart.
That's all im willing to say without spoiling to much but I absolutely loved Fur, Fangs and Murder. It's just the right about of spicy mixed in with the mystery of the ongoing story. I loved the main character, the side characters, and the villian. I need a sequel, a spin-off and a novella like ASAP. And as for team Werewolf or Vamp...I picked up this book for the asshole alpha werewolf but I left it team vampire.
If you choose to pick up this book I need to know are you team vampire or werewolf?
I wanted to really enjoy this; the concept seemed right up my alley for what I normally enjoy in a book. I got about 25% of the way through before I had to call it.
I kept getting dragged out of the story with how 'futuristic' everything was and how little seemed to be flushed out and explained about it. It also felt like facts kept getting repeated or the same things explained over and over again.
The characters seemed interesting but almost like people were 'overqualified' for what they were actually doing. Like bringing up how smart people were constantly or how like just went along with whatever the FMC did felt more like they were making the characters out to more than they actually were, and I was genuinely getting confused at times.
If you're looking for a more futuristic paranormal romance, this would 100% be up your alley though.
I really wasn’t sure I was going to like this book at first even if it did draw me in right at the beginning. I found Eve to be a little bit immature at the beginning, and yes even at the end. However, she really grew on me as the story unfolds. And what a story it is. Not only is this a paranormal romance, but there’s also enough suspense, my weakness, to keep me intrigued from beginning to end when I like it best. I did have my preference in the two she’s having trouble deciding between, and even though I’m not a fan of RH, I kept thinking about her just having both. LOL! Anyway, even though the MCs did have a tendency to be a little immature, I quite enjoyed this and am looking forward to more. Highly recommend. I was provided a complimentary copy which I voluntarily reviewed.
This is a 2.5 star read for me. I powered through, but had a hard time staying engaged.
The story was paced well, but the murders were not as much the focus as I expected for a book with murder in the title. The love triangle was more forward than I expected for sure.
This was really just another special human girl who somehow has everything going for her. 2 alpha paranormal beings want her. She started a police department in her 20s and has basically carte blanche with the captain. That was hard to believe.
A lot of "holo" things. Every time I thought I had a handle on what holo meant, something else got called holo.
The murder solving aspect was good. Really wish it had leaned into that more and less into the love triangle.
ARC Review of Fangs, Fur & Murder by Elishevah Monrad * * * * * Lots of love trouble and murder in this supernatural romance. Where humans, witches, werewolves and warlocks run the world in divisions of territories, gangs and special supernatural forces, someone is spreading terror all around as enemies are on the verge of war and a young detective is already got her hands full stopping one a man she loves from being seen as a murderer, and a man from her past coming back to create confliction in her heart again. Backstories with suprises, a woman who cannot make up her mind between two hot men and their own desires for her, death and betrayal. Not to forget a cliffhanger that has you going WTF! Thank you to Netgalley for providing my copy of this read.
Omg.. I have so many words but also no words for how much I absolutely devoured & loved this read. I mean, Paranormal Romance meets Murder Mystery? HELLO!? And THAT ENDING? ILLEGALLLLLLLLLLL!!!!! 😩 I am so glad author Elishevah has decided to continue this series instead of having it as a standalone because I NEED more immediately. I need my Micah Saint James fix like I need air, that man is everything & more than you could want in a dangerous, sexy vampire MMC. I will be talking about this book for the next 3-5 business years and I make no apologies.
I won this book via NetGalley, and I am very pleased to have had the opportunity to read this ahead of publication date! I am not a twilight girly but I am very much so "TeamMicah"!!! This book has me ensnared from the start!! It reminds me of a Stephanie Plum book mixed with the show "Originals"!!! I am not a spoiler kind of reviewer either so I am going to heavily recommend that everyone gives this novel a shot! Its captivating from the very first page!! I can not wait to see a book 2!!! I cant wait to get a physical copy for my home library!!
A fast and entertaining paranormal detective romance. I enjoyed the book because it was a very easy and quick read and I liked Eve and the murder mystery.
The romance didn't really hit the spot, maybe because both love stories had started before the book and the book itself was pretty short, so I didn't get to know either one enough to care about the romance. Maybe two prequel books, one for each MC, would make me choose my favorite.
Thanks to Curse Breaker Publishing and NetGalley for the opportunity to read an advance copy!
This book reminded me of True Blood x Angel. It had colorful characters with big, bold personalities and motivations that kept you guessing. The futuristic world the author built felt fresh and innovative.
It was very easy to read, with an interesting and engaging plot that truly made you want to know what happened next.
My only gripe is a few of the characters lacked a little depth behind their decisions, but they were minor characters so it didn't affect the main plot.
Detective Eve Sinclair is young, smart and secure in her own skin. When her alpha werewolf boyfriend is arrested for a murder he didn’t commit Eve goes to the master vampire who saved her then broke her heart to bail him out setting her up to be emotionally torn between the two. Her heart doesn’t have time for their games as there is a paranormal serial killer on the loose and it’s her job to find and stop the killer. This is a fast paced exciting paranormal murder mystery that will keep you guessing. I hate that this ended on a cliffhanger but can’t wait to see what happens next.
I loved the concept of this story- I've never read a book that is a futuristic take on our world with werewolves and vampires, where cash is outlawed and crypto is king. The world building was great and I also loved the paranormal police force! The spice in this book is hot! If I had to gripe, I would have loved a bit more emotional backstory- like why do people love Eve so much? I get she's hot and successful but like what else?
Murder, mystery, weres and vampires? What more could a bookish girlie want?!
This book didn't necessarily grab me at first but I am so glad I kept reading because I was hooked! At no point did I know where the plot was going, how the mystery would be solved or foresee any twists.
The chemistry between Eve and Jake and Eve and Micah was delicious, I absolutely cannot wait to read book 2!
ARC review A fun read that I finished in a day. A very modern twist being set in the future which takes some time to get used to. The love triangle is very predicatable but looking forward to seeing what the author does with this in book 2.
A paranormal police squad had my attention. Eve was so much fun. And werewolves! Yes, more please. Great, easy fun read. I received an advance review copy at no cost, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Thank you to Netgalley and Curse Breaker Publishing for the ARC, of Fangs, Fur and Murder by Elishevah Monrad, in exchange for an honest review.
This book was set in a futuristic New York City but from the very first page gave me old school detective vibes, I could almost see the characters come to life in black and white. If you want to read a book that feels like if Dick Tracy was a hot detective for the paranormal police department, who was caught in a Twilight Esque love triangle, this is the book for you:)
Told through the FMCs POV, this book combines murder mystery, politics and a vampire/human/werewolf love triangle that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
The murder investigation kept me guessing throughout the book, and I really enjoyed the relationships the FMC had with the side characters, I hope that we will get to see more of them in future books. The FMCs complicated relationships with the MMCs left me not knowing if I was team Vampire or team Werewolf, and after that ending I definitely need a sequel to make my decision!
If you are looking for a futuristic paranormal romance, you will enjoy this fun, spicy read.
Loved this! Eve heads the NYC Paranormal Police Squad, her werewolf boyfriend is framed for murder, and the only person who can help is her vampire ex. The tension is chefs kiss - murder mystery meets love triangle meets second-chance romance. If you love paranormal romance with an actual plot, you'll eat this up.
