Anna Zaires fell in love with books at the age of five, when her grandmother taught her to read. She wrote her first story shortly thereafter. Since then, she has always lived partially in a fantasy world where the only limits were those of her imagination. Currently residing in Florida, Anna is happily married to Dima Zales (a science fiction and fantasy author) and closely collaborates with him on all their works.

After graduating from the University of Chicago with a degree in Economics, Anna spent eight years on Wall Street analyzing stocks and writing research reports. In 2013, she became a full-time author, pursuing her lifelong dream of writing romance novels.

Dima Zales is the love of her life and a huge inspiration in all aspects of her writing. Every book Anna writes is a product of their unique collaborative process.

In addition to reading and writing, Anna enjoys drinking tea (coconut oolong, anyone?), watching addictive TV shows, and discussing book ideas during long walks with her amazing husband.

She loves hearing from her readers, so please don't hesitate to contact her through her website or connect with her on Facebook, where she hangs out way too often. Also, please visit her husband and collaborator, Dima Zales, at www.dimazales.com and check out their fantasy & science fiction books.

This series is one of the first dark books I've ever read. Actually, I think it was the second dark book I read and it was just at the right time because I discovered an author I loved and a series of books I'll continue to read whenever I feel the need to mentally go back to a time when everything was peaceful and simple in my life.

Nora and Julian's story is passionate and inspiring to me, especially as a writer myself, Anna's books has caused bombs in my brains and when I hit the keyboard, I hit it hard.

READ THESE!

You won't regret it.
Feel free to thank me later!

Book one:
I'm not sure I would normally have picked up a book with this description if I'd just seen it sitting on a shelf somewhere—I'm really not into rape fantasies or BDSM—but I only discovered this author a few weeks ago, and I'm totally hooked on her writing, so I figured I'd give this one a chance—I can always put it down if it isn't my thing, right?

I didn't put it down....

Actually, I don't think I put it down for more than half an hour until I finished it. (Warning: every one of her books that I've read is hell on my productivity levels....)

As always, she makes me care about the characters, and the sex scenes are great. (I wasn't sure I'd enjoy the types of sex scenes in this series, but she did a great job making me see how someone COULD actually enjoy that type of sex....) The relationships feel very real, and I love how she unfolds the story a bit at a time.

It started out pretty disturbing—rape is still rape, even if the man can make the woman enjoy it—but the relationship felt like a very real, very caring one by the end, no matter how it got started.

Couldn't wait to start the next book—literally couldn't wait: I downloaded and started it immediately, and made myself stop to come write this review while I could still remember the first book well enough to write about it. Off to keep reading now….

Book Two:
So the relationship started off on the wrong foot in the first book, but now it's a real relationship—they love and care for each other very much, no matter where/how it started. Yes, there's a lot of darkness—he's a dangerous man with a dark past (and present, for that matter)—and they both enjoy BDSM, but they both seem to be exactly what the other needs.

In this book we learn more about Julian, and the relationship deepens. Julian seems to think he isn't capable of love, yet he continually shows that he DOES love Nora. No matter how hopeless things might be portrayed, I think there's hope for him/them.... As always, there are plenty of sex scenes, and they're very enjoyable, even for those of us who aren't into BDSM.

Once again, I stayed up much later than I should to finish the book, and once again I had to immediately start the next one, even though it was already late. #sorrynotsorry

"Twist Me" Series written by the amazingly talented author 'Anna Zaires' consists of these three books :-
1. Twist Me
2. Keep Me
3. Hold Me

This trilogy has an - intense, dark and twisted, tale of romance, passion and love. This whole series consists of the story of one couple - Julian and Nora. Their love story was raw, enthralling, gripping, provoking, emotional and truly twisted !! I loved reading every bit of their story.

Having read a few dark romances in my time, I found this series to be truly memorable, and it's nothing like I have ever read before. But this series is just not for you, if you are a straight shooter. So, please proceed with caution, and pick this trilogy up, only after you have read the trigger warnings by the author !!

I like reading stories with a kidnapping trope, and this story was truly an exceptional one, with this particular trope. I have to say, the way the author has realistically described, the captor's and captive's, raw emotions and thoughts, throughout the story, with so much clarity and understanding, is truly amazing !! No other author I have read till date, has truly achieved that.

The author has somehow managed to make the intense darkness in this story, seem beautiful !! Reading this book was an experience in itself, and it left a huge impact on me. This is the first series I have read by the author Anna Zaires, and I am definitely going to read more.

In conclusion, Julian and Nora's intensely DARK love story was, bold, thrilling, shocking, exciting and incredibly stimulating !! If you are a dark romance lover, then you have to read this trilogy. It's definitely a 'must read' series !! ❤

Anna Zaires’ “Keep Me” is the second book in the Twist Me series. Another amazing read. Very sexy and a lot of pleasure/pain boundaries get crossed. I love how Nora and Julian are growing and changing within this relationship…two incredibly broken people who come together to form a whole. There’s a reason I’ve bought every single book by Zaires! I can’t wait for #3 to come out later this month!
5 out of 5 stars

Anna Zaires’ “Twist Me” is amazing! It’s dark and smutty and delicious. If you liked RAW by Belle Aurora, you’ll love this book – it’s everything RAW is without the crummy mindgame ending. The leading man, Julian, is hotter than Twitch, plus, he’s just a better man. The sex scenes are plentiful and hot, hot, hot! The leading lady, Nora, is very believable and you really find yourself alternating between empathizing with her predicament and being jealous of her hot hookups with Julian. I can’t wait to hear the rest of Nora and Julian’s story in “Keep Me” and I’ve already looked up some of Zaire’s other writings as well. Overall, a great read – I’m addicted – keep it coming Anna!

At the end of twist me, I was glad to see that the story still continues. This book captured me as well as the first one.

I have fallen in love with the work of the author. The books do not allow you to do anything else but read.

The love that Nora demonstrated when when she went to rescue her Julian. Julian knew that Nora loves her but even him could not have possibly comprehended that the love was so deep that she would be willing to risk her own love.

Trigger warning - dubious consent, kidnapping, violence, torture and death. These two books are dark and yet romantic in a twisted way.

Twist Me (Twist Me Book #1)
I can't believe in going to say this but I was thrilled with the ending...I think I need to get my head checked but it's true...LOL
I will definitely be reading the next book!

Keep Me (Twist Me Book #2)
I can't get enough of this series! In Twist Me we were left with a whopper of a cliff hanger and that is exactly where this book picks up. You think you have Julian figured out but believe me you don't. I can't even explain how his mind works it's a total mystery and Nora WOW she takes Stockholm syndrome to a new level. They had me scratching my head a few times and asking myself "What the hell is she thinking!"
I look forward to reading Hold Me and seeing where these two take us on our next emotional roller coaster ride.
