Book Will He Remember? Greg Stewart is a smart detective. He’s been following suspicious cases from nearby areas. His gut tells him they’re related. He’s assigned to investigate a car accident. Digging into the details, he finds his victim is connected to the cases he’s been following. Now he needs answers. The first person he questions is Willow Harris, a friend of his accident victim. She’s smart, sexy, and definitely hiding something. Willow Harris is a lonely succubus searching for her mate. He’s the only man who will remember having sex with her. She’s trying to help the sexy detective solve his case, but she has to be careful. Greg is human. He can never know sex demons are not just myth. Greg keeps pushing for answers. Willow relents and tells him everything knowing that after she sleeps with him, he won’t remember anything she said, or will he? Remember Me is the first in the Sex Demon series by Nanea Knott. This novel is an erotic paranormal romance.
Nanea Knott is a romance author who hopes to one day have name recognition for being famous not infamous.
She’s determined to find the readers who like a good story with a little humor, some romance and of course, hot sex.
She has two naughty cats and is the proud owner of the title “crazy cat lady.” She reads faster than she writes, has a mad obsession for arts and crafts, and owns way more coffee mugs a person who doesn’t drink coffee ought to have.
It was an interesting idea, but I struggled just to get to chapter 9. First, this was repetitive. It took like two or three chapters and way too many pages just to say that people forget Willow after having sex and she's lonely. Second, Willow's really good friend was in a horrific car accident. When Willow arrives at the scene, she takes the time to notice Greg and has the need to control herself from jumping his bones... not a really good friend. I would think I would be frantic, wanting to know if my friend was ok and everything, but Willow was as cool as a cucumber. She did not seem distraught or frantic. Third, inconsistency. The chapters are from Willow then Greg's point of views, yet the dialogue told from both points of views of the same scene are completely different (chaos 5-6). Lastly, the style is more summary than anything else. The author does way too much explaining through narratives rather than through actions. I'm going to try to get through this because I want to give the author a fair chance... But so far I'm having one heck of a hard time.
Willow is a succumbus, a sex demon, which means she must have sex in order to survive, like a vampire needing blood. The human that has sex with a sex demon will have no recollection of what transpired unless it is their mate. Willow is lonely and wishes she could find her mate. She attends her support group SDA, Sex Demons Association (known by sex demons only) in order to keep updated with current events affecting sex demons and support other sex demons. Chase is Willow's co-worker who is very obsessed with her since she has had sex with him too many times? Will he become violent? Or insane? Greg is a detective who is on a case of a hit and run accident in which involves. Willow's friend. He's also trying to piece the puzzle together of why so many of Willow's friends in her support group SDA, Single Dating Available (known by humans), are subject to accidents. Will Willow confide in Greg about being a sex demon and take the risk of being sent to Hell or assassinated by the Regents? The Humans First organization is creating many problems for the sex demons. The author creates a story that will keep you intrigued with these amazing sex demons thirst for sex. I would recommend this first book, Remember Me: A Paranormal Erotic Romance (Sex Demon Series). Can't wait to read the next installment.
I enjoy this book. I like the extreme Greg went through just to remember Willow. And I love how Keely has no shame and she owns it. I will absolutely read the next book in the series.
2.5 stars. The first 80% really deserved a good 4 stars, but the last 20% was really only ok. The first part of the book was actually really good, but the story seemed like it just tapered off at the end into a summary, and one that didn't completely make sense or satisfy. There was only a conclusion with regard to the sex side, but the plot just... ended. While I suspect this will likely be at least partly remedied in the next book, it wasn't what I would consider a good cliffhanger in that it didn't even feel like there was a possibility that it could be resolved ultimately. I also felt like the characters could have been developed a little more and that their reactions were a tad bit uncharacteristic of a rational or even irrational assessment and reaction to the situations encountered. Really what it came down to for me: the sex was sure steamy, but the story wasn't complete in multiple ways.

Uhm, not bad. I am not really into the 'Fantasy/Paranormal' Stuff. Had a great start, and started to fizzle out. But, that could be me. I liked the erotic writing that was good! Some editing errors. I am a nature proof-reader, it sucks to be me. I find errors everywhere. Willing to try other books in your lot to see if there is something I might like more. Truly a great first start. Just keep in mind adding to many plots and characters in late in book that will end soon. Get a better editor. Over all, I give it a B.
Erotic really is not my kind of story but the drama going on was good. That stuff I just glossed over. LOTS of open ended questions I do hope get solved in the next book, like if the guy who found his mate and accidentally snubbed her smoothed everything over. As of March 1st, 2016 this is available for free on kindle until around the end of March but subject to change.
