This was a decent read and an interesting series. The only problem for me was that there was such a great potential for a helluva MC story that I was disappointed it was Erotica and had so much sex, in a shorter story. Yeah I know shocker but I really wanted more of the characters growth to be shown and more about the plot especially with Zeke. Each book had you wanting to read the next by the snippets you got of what was going on with the next couple but I have to admit had I not bought this as a bundle I might have stopped after Demon's book, the first one. I really think I might have DNF'd his ass actually he was such an asshole but I am glad I pushed through because he did have enough growth to get over my first impression of him. I loved Joker and Steel, also love that even though this is full of club whores the focus isn't on them and there is no cheating or semi-cheating, yeah to that.
But I will say if you have a problem reading the violence of a 1% MC, this isn't the series for you. They are not overly graphic but I noticed some gripping in reviews about the violence so there is your heads up if you read my review. I mean I really don't know what people expect when reading about 1% MC but unicorns and rainbows ain't it....

I intend to eventually finish reading the remaining books in this series, but for now, I'm shelving them again. The story line seems to repeat novel after novel: boy meets girl, girl is afraid of/can't stand boy, girl has has some kind of terrible trauma in her past, boy coerces her into bed where his sexual prowess makes her magically fall head over heels in love with him. Ok, sure that sounds like the premise of every romance novel ever, but it's not just the story line that repeats.... sometimes entire paragraphs of text repeat as well. As in the author has a repository of text chunks and just throws them together at times, just changing a noun/pronoun and expletive here and there. And that really sucks, because this series has been in my TBR pile for a long time and I was excited to finally getting around to reading it. Alas.

I got this boxed set and what a deal it was! I will break down the individual books:
The first book was very similar to some other books I have read where a parent gives their daughter to an MC to pay a debt. Of course the girl is sweet and innocent and young and the biker is older and appears to be cruel and cold. It doesn't take long before they are "in love" and he is making her his old lady and they have an HEA...but not before a kidnapping and death threats. If you like your bikers mean and the sex dirty...this book is the one for you. Read it in one sitting and it leaves the door open for more ends to be tied up.
Book 2 in the Sons of Wrath MC series is mainly Joker and Amy's story, but we get some glimpses into some other brewing romances and "interests" from other club members as well.
Joker's father is having a hard time dealing with the loss of his wife, so her daughter Amy returns to his house to help him by trying to keep the homefront as returned to normal as possible. Of course her one-time older 'stepbrother' Reece (aka Joker) has never stopped loving her no matter how many women he has bedded and his extreme sexual tastes may be too much for the abused (and in therapy) Amy.
Their relationship is deepened and the possibilities of a future without the constant threat of her abuser returning is now a reality.
Pretty good and steamy addition to the series and looking forward to the next book.
BDSM is the name of the game in the third Soldiers of Wrath book... Steel and mild mannered store clerk Eloise are the players and it is one hot and bumpy ride. Eloise is one of those mousy type girls who don't know how beautiful they are and who craves pain to get off...a complete contradiction and is just what hard-edged biker Steel desires.
A nasty man who wants her and foolishly attempts to take what is not his is dealt a harsh blow by the possessive Steel and it's HEA for these two kinky lovers.
I liked this one as well as the first two...the common theme being sweet helpless women who have their big bad bikers to protect them...a scary idea at first but then fear turns to love and respect.
Very bloody and violent with graphic sexual situations as well.
A bonus short story is also included at the end of the boxed set and it is about Demon and Deanna.
I really enjoyed this collaboration by two fantastic biker authors and am anxious to read the next in the series as well!

Novellas but worth the read, some editing issues in book 1
Bargain price. I had bought book 1 but have doubled up with this box set. Seriously enjoyable and a bonus scene at the end, the books are more novellas than novels in size but the pace more than makes up for that.
Book 1: Deanna is given to the MC president as payment for a drug debt by her father, to say she is not impressed is an understatement but does Demon win the day.
Book 2: Joker is dominant in and out of the sack. He lives and breathes this but when it comes to Amy he is so soft and sweet and he doesn't see her as a survivor. He waits for years for her to grow up before he makes his final move to make her his old lady.
Book 3: Eloise has secrets, dark ones about what she wants to have done to her body. Unsure if she should feel ashamed she shuns contact with men. Steel sees her and knows what she wants and what she needs as he has the corresponding darkness in him too.

OWNED BY THE BASTARD - Demon & Deanna's story. If you don't like your stories raw, rough and dirty this isn't the book for you. This just happens to be my kind of story and for a change I liked all of the characters. Demon is the President of the Soldiers of Wrath. He's ruthless, dangerous and takes nothing from no one. After Deanna is given to the club, Demon falls in love for the first time. He's rude and crude but loves his woman.
BENT BUT NOT BROKEN - Joker & Amy's story. Not as violent as the first story, but so good. Amy and Joker were meant to be together since they were kids. After Joker destroys most of her demons, he goes back home to get her, promising to love and protect her forever. Finally they both get their Happy Ending.

When I saw that two of my favourite romance authors did a collab, I was ecstatic. Both authors are known for their alpha, possessive but loyal heroes; these books were no different. However, while I felt that the stories and the series in general were entertaining and engaging, I couldn't really say much for the character developments. I felt that they were too one dimensional, this could be due to the word count (i.e novella, instead of a full fledged novel), our MC heroes were pretty much the same sort of present, just labeled differently. Overall an okay read, but since it was written by both Jenika and Sam, I was just expecting so much more..

Good.
What I liked: fast, past story with interesting main and secondary characters. What could have been improved: I would have like better character development especially the main characters. I would have liked to the women's education, abilities, how they develop their sense of independence and what in their back ground enabled them not to succumbed to Stockholm syndrome. I would have liked to know how the men became a club, where they learned to develop their club culture, how they earned money, how they can be loyal to each, murderous yet chivalrous and be really good at sex and be good men.

Great box set
The world of the Soldiers of Wrath MC is fast paced, tough, and sometimes brutal livings. The men of the MC don't usually do love and they take what they want from women and think nothing of loving them. That is until they find a woman who is worthy of their love.
This box set was awesome, it introduced me to three very sexy, savage, and loyal men who live in a world full of brutality. But once they meet the girl of their dreams, their focuses seem to shift and these women make them better people.
I cannot wait to read the next installment in the series.

Love a juicy, sexy motorcycle book and here I go and find a box set...this Soldiers of Wrath was great...hot alpha males who knew how to burn up the sheets...females in distress, needing these hunky MC men...you can't have a good MC book without some blood and killing, so of course there was that too...great set of books...oh, and let's not forget the bonus...already bought Dead Bastard with Danielle and Shakes!!

the first one was ok and then went downhill from there. the second was just dumb. I could not like either character and then thought by third one shakes story I would enjoy and that was ok. I skimmed through almost all three books. I am a little disappoint because I read another mc book by author and it was good/. so not sure if I will continue to read anymore of them.

Wow! Boy, talk about sizzling hot.....wanted to light a cigarette after every page and I don't smoke! Not only is the series very erotic but the characters very interesting with well thought-out and intriguing stories. Definitely not your dime-store trash variety from long ago!
