We're in the middle of the story now, and it's definitely a step up from the previous part, which kinda dragged a little bit. It's more intense, and while it's strictly the middle of the story, it's moved on at a much better pace, now that introductions and whatnot are out of the way. The characters are more fleshed out, and while Evan is still frustratingly naive, it at least makes his character seem a bit more human rather than the super-smart P.I.s you usually see. and read about. Still, it being the middle of the story, it ends on a more exciting cliffhanger than the first volume, and it'll leave you itching for more.
