Comment dire ? Livre superbe, incroyable... non pas du tout. Vraiment je me suis ennuyé tout au long de l'histoire je ne comprenais rien les ¾ du temps, ça n'avait pas de sens. Je sais même pas comment j'ai pu le finir 😭 Mais bon comme on dit chacun ses goûts et ses couleurs donc bon lisez le faotes vous vos propres avis 🙃

Je l'ai lu parce que je donne cours à une élève de 5ème qui allait avoir un contrôle de lecture dessus, honnêtement ils devraient donner des livres plus intéressants, même moi j'en avais marre alors que j'étais pas obligée de le lire

A well-told retelling of Chrétien de Troyes's Perceval story. It was fast-paced, as you might expect for a version written for young adults, and the French was at exactly my level—I only had to look up a word every now and then, not two or three times per page as with adult books.

Chrétien's original version actually doesn't end (the author died before he could finish it), but this version borrows from other medieval continuators to offer a satisfying conclusion to the story.

I like the Perceval story because it is about education. Perceval is raised away from any knightly court, so when he leaves home he does things wrong and he has to learn and be trained to become a proper knight. Later, he also learns how to be a proper Christian, which finally makes him fit to take over guardianship of the Holy Graal.

Great story well told. The psychological elements could have been pointed out.

Story of a boy entering manhood with an absentee father figure, who seeks out and finds other mentors and assistance on his journey. Parceval’s shadow side is encountered via interactions with other people in the play.

J'ai envie de mourir le début est même pas une adaptation fidèle du roman de Chrétien de Troyes et y'a toute une fin improvisée qui casse tout le mystère autour du livre que je venais chercher c'est nul
