What is love to you? Maybe it’s when you hold your child for the first time or maybe it’s when your guy pops the big question. For me, love is the one thing that never hurts you that’s always there. Love never dies.

My name is Bailey Kensington and the last four years, I’ve been a regular hard-working college student. I don’t remember much about growing up, though I do have the most incredible brother ever.

All my time, I spend in school and when I’m not studying, I’m drooling over Jasmine’s boyfriend, best friend. This is what life is all about, or so I thought.

It’s amazing how things can change in the blink of an eye. My past came rushing back, destroying me with every breath I took. Until the stranger at the door revived my heart.

I may not know him but my heart does, this is my story.

This Book has lots of adult content and sensitive topics READ AT YOUR OWN RISK YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ENJOY.

I absolutely loved this book. Right from the start Baileys story captures you, its a dark love story with several twists and shocking moments. Just when you think that everything is going to work out for Bailey another twist comes in. If you like a book that will do a 180 on you, this is your book. I'm hooked Author S. T. Miller, thank you for the great read.

received for an honest review

I'm not sure where to start with this. Books are a very personal thing and I get that we don't all like the same thing but based on the other reviews on here it's like we've read different books. My advice to the author was it needs work, a lot of work!! It had more plot holes than a sieve, there was virtually no character development, I couldn't build a picture in my mind as we were given so few details of the characters. The constant twists and turns work in some books but in this because of the plot holes I've mentioned the book made little sense. Yes its fiction but you need to believe in a story or at least I do and without giving any spoilers there were way too many unfortunate events happening without any or much remorse or concern. I didn't like the pov it had been written in and some of the dialogue had me cringing. Another point I raised were the amount of errors in it. One or two I can look past but I had over 400 mistakes highlighted. As much as I'm against Amazon's return policy if I had purchased this book I would be looking to return it for a refund.

First off thank you to the Author.

Unfortunately I have to agree with Linda Innes. I feel the story has great potential, but needs work. I need more from the characters. I feel like I didn't get to know who they are. They pop up in a scene, and that is it. She is madly in love with Tyson after being in a relationship after 24hrs? I get that they have known each other, and there is a back story, but we don't get that in the book. Then it gets irritating, because he is turning out to be a douche. I feel the author did a little better when it came to Max, but I still have the same issues. I don't feel that the heroine handles her issues realistically. I don't see a girl with her child hood being so unaffected. I don't feel that all the things she has gone through would leave her so emotionally intact. She should be struggling to not fall to pieces, but she is the emotional rock for Alley? Just doesn't make sense. Also, The dialogue was kind of bad. It felt scripted, and unreal. Like there was no life in the conversation between the characters. All in all I really wanted to love it. Felt I could have, if it was put together a little better.

I was a gifted an ARC for honest review:

First off I have to say that the story line kept my attention the whole way through. I do believe it needs work on typos, wrong words, and punctuation but I am not the type those things will prevent me from understanding the concept at what the writer is trying to get across. (ex: to, two, too was often just spelled to or attend instead of tend) It is very much a dark read so it isn't intended for all readers. There is sexual abuse (as children), drugs, illegal activities, and rape. I have several questions regarding some scenarios but I am still looking forward to see where book 2 goes. Not all books have happy endings but when it comes to a dark read, this one turned out better than I would have thought.

Overall, if the writer would send this book back through an editor then it would be a better read. I would say it rated more a 3.75 but I gave a 4 start instead. It definitely has potential. Don't go into reading this with expectations of perfection because you won't find it. Go into it knowing it is dark and it is fiction with a twist.

Well this book is just amazing I've read a lot of books this year and this book has been the best by far. This book has so many emotions in it so many highs and lows. Bales and max are just the best couple going they've been through so much together it's unbelievable! Max never gave up on bales from the first time he met her ages 8 or 9 bales blocks her past out so she can't remember most of it but max helps her Remember everything even when she's in another relationship so many times I wanted to scream at this book or bang their heads together so they would be together. When it finally happened it was emotional and very heart warming but as we all know there is always things trying to stop people from being together. I advice anyone that reads this book to have plenty of tissues! You're going to need them from page 3 onwards. Thanks for the arc tootsie Miller I totally love your writing this book it's just AMAZING

I was given this for my honest review. OMG I was a blubbering mess reading this, it gave me goose bumps right the way through. Bailey is graduating and the lad she has crushed on for the last 4 years of school has just told her he has liked her for ages, she is so excited that her life is looking good at the moment then she gets the phone call her twin brother is in hospital on a life support machine she has to get to him. This is where you are taken on a truly breath taking journey that spans their lifetime, I really have struggled to put into words to describe this book and to be honest I can't, all I can say is you have to read this, it is full of raw emotions that take you right there as if you are Bailey, this author is unbelievable in what she has done here and I am definitely going to be reading more from her. THIS IS AMAZING

This book was forwarded to me for an honest review.
This is a dark love story that will have you squirming along the way.
Just when you think things cant get any worse for the main Character Bailey they do. The main man "Maddox aka Mad Max" is yummy in a typical Alpha way - you will feel the love they have for each other. When Baileys life starts coming together for the better, the plot takes a twist that I am still trying to get over.
This book was fantastic. HEA - yes and no, you have to read it to decide if you think there was one. Warning, bring out the tissues you are going to need it.
The only negative that i have, is that the book does need some editing, but nothing that will waver from a fantastic storyline.
Well done Tootsie - I thoroughly enjoyed this one and I am looking forward to Alleys story.

OMG What can I say about this book.

This book grabbed my attention from page one and turned me into a crying wreck. And it has been a while since I cried like I did with this book.

This book will take you on a rollercoaster of emotions from highs and lows.Bales and Max are definitely one of my favourite book couples. The love they have for each other is so beautiful even after everything they go through together.

I can't wait to read book two Alley's story.

Make sure you have your tissues to hand

Omg!! How many times can a book rip my heart out and put it back... this is one of the best stories I have read. Did not see any of it coming as I read this. I received this as a arc and so happy for it. I totally recommend this book to be read as soon as you can.
