About the author
Amy Paulson
3 books2 followersAmy Paulson is an Amazon Bestselling author, a mother, and a witness. For twenty-five years she was in a relationship that shaped who she became — twenty of those years in California, before she and her kids (and animals) made their way back to the East Coast.
She's not an educator or a policy expert. She's someone who watched, from inside a marriage, as the person she loved most was slowly pushed out of a system he'd devoted his career to. Behind the Educator: Finding Light When Life Unravels is the book that came out of that experience.
If you've ever worked somewhere that broke you a little, loved someone who was struggling, or held a family together through something hard, she hopes you'll find a piece of yourself in these pages.
She loves hearing from readers — feel free to ask her anything through Ask the Author or connect on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/amylynnpaul....

Great memoir
A truly great memoir about the challenges of being a teacher in America. Excellent account of the constant pulls on educators and how life impacts education.
