I really didn't enjoy this book. It felt far too long and moved at a painfully slow pace. There was also an excessive amount of sex, and I honestly don't think that many scenes were necessary—especially the one that took place after her sister was kidnapped, which felt completely out of place.

The action, or lack of it, was another major disappointment. Much of the story revolved around paperwork, council meetings, and threats that never seemed to lead anywhere. When her sister was kidnapped, I expected the plot to pick up and deliver some real suspense and action, but it never did. Instead, the situation was resolved very quickly, and the threat that had been built up throughout the book simply disappeared.

Overall, the story felt drawn out, the pacing was slow, and the payoff wasn't worth the build-up. It ended up being a real letdown.

Why were they learning to speak, Dutch in Zurich, they speak, German in that part of Switzerland that was very confusing.

Nice HEA

I enjoyed it. If you are looking for dark and super steamy this is not it. It has the potential for both. Which is what left me yearning. The language within starts out more fluid between the sisters a bit then it becomes almost too rigid. The story is great I loved it. I wish there was a little more twist and more to Roman. The potential is there. Sooo much potential to it all really.

Claimed By The Boss by Bella Page delivers a possessive mafia hero, forbidden workplace romance, and steamy age-gap relationship that I loved reading. In this novel, we are introduced to an older, powerful Bratva boss who is fiercely protective, and the heroine who is determined to keep their relationship from feeling one-sided. One of the things that I enjoyed about Page's novel was the undeniable chemistry between the main characters. Their age-gap dynamic added another layer of tension, creating plenty of emotional push and pull alongside the undeniable attraction. Overall, Claimed By The Boss was an addictive, steamy read that delivered on the tropes it promises and left me eager for the next installment.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Stopped reading @ 61% I didn't like Celine, she was annoying, acting like she didn't want to be in the "fake marriage" but still taking full advantage of the situation then acting like she could have handled it if he hadn't forced her in to the marriage, which is bullshit cause she could barely pay for the sister treatment, this extra wouldn't have happened without him, she is hate fucking him at every opportunity, gets knocked up and is still looking to get out of the marriage, and what exactly is she going to do with the extra expense that is a child, she is meant to be Smart, strong and independent, but to me she seems like an arrogant opportunist, who plays it off as I didn't ask you to, I told you cause I thought you should know, STFU!! Oh and after reading in excruciating detail the suctioning of her no no hole, I started avoiding the naughty bits.

I would give it a 3.5 stars out of 5 if I could. Celine and Zane’s Relationship/Love Story was not even close to being one my favorites. Celine is a stronger female lead but I didn’t care for the way either one of their points of view was written. It all sounded robotic at times & without emotions. Hard to believe either one of them felt love or any other emotion.

I'm still a bit unsure about this story, it started put as means to an end for a financial way to pay for treatment for an illness...

It's a bit strange I find lots of loose ends in the story, i couldn't decide if the protagonists actually were in love or even just tolerated each other...

Fantastic story

Absolutely loved this story. Loved Zane and Celine. I loved that things she didn’t know she wasn’t bratty about and let Zane understand what upset her. He let her fly. Beautiful story.

Good, but not great.

I did enjoy reading this book. It was just a bit rushed in the beginning and then very slow at the end. There was a lot of just looking at each other for just about anything that they both knew what it meant. Not a lot of talking, background or development.

Zane & Celine

This is the first book I have read by this author, it was interesting and gripped me from the first page. So I will now be looking for more books to read by her.
