Demon On Deck
She came for a post-divorce vacation. He came because his family wanted him too then bailed. Neither came looking for each other.

Spicy monster romance with a touch of darkness, part of the Monster Brides Romance Series
The story centres around Kallie, a newly divorced florist who's sister sends her on a cruise as a congratulations on getting rid of her horrible ex husband. This is where she meets Evren, a 7ft fire demon, sin in a suit, who runs his own company, his parents were meant to join him on the cruise but travel from Greece was delayed so now he's also there alone.
They have a whirlwind holiday fling but agree to end it when the cruise ends - little do they both know, it becomes a lot more than just spicy time at sea.
I really enjoyed this one, I love a good monster/demon romance and am always a fan when the FMC is a human (I like the fantasy of a supernatural fated mate). The cruise element was good too and I think it made for a more interesting setting for romance to develop. I really liked how they interacted with each other at first, letting luck/fate decide things for them but then finally giving in to temptation. I also enjoyed the connection they had from the beginning, the fact that they were both there because family thought they needed it and deserved a break from all the chaos life brings.
Kallie was easy to connect with, a curvy girl who has been unlucky in love and deserves way more than she believes she is allowed to want. She has a quirky wit about her which I loved and I just wanted to see her happy.
Evran - wow this demon, he starts as a moody workaholic but when he starts falling, the green flags are flying in abundance. He's kind, he listens, he's gentle (most of the time). This is very beauty and beast coded and it is part of why I loved it.
I think the twist was brilliant and gave it that little bit of dark edge, we all knew Matt was a giant bag of dicks that would stoop to low levels.
The spice was muy caliente! And this demon and his aftercare, god damn, where do I get me a man like this?!
How could you not fall for a man who runs you a bubble bath after blowing your back out?
There is also the fact that he compliments her, praises her and reassures her as well as asking questions to ensure she is ok, safe and enjoying herself. He doesn't push because he wants something.
Would highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good monster romance with a lovable MMC with a large appetite ;) ;)
Cannot wait to read some of the other books written for this series (there are 52)

I have read, and will forever read all that Maison De Loup has written and will write, theres always something truly magical when you step into the pages of her books! This one is no different but be prepared, you might find some characters from another of her books, because they're connected baby! I got so excited knowing they're from the same world because one I love those characters too and two because you never know where Maison De Loup will go next with her stories and it adds even more depth then her books already contain and I'm here for it all!
On the topic of characters you're going to love Kallie and Evren, their chemistry is off the charts, trust me that high-stakes rescue will totally cement them needing to be together forever in your heart! Evren is the demon you're going to dream of for a long time, and I loved being able to read his thoughts! My gosh was it fun if you know what I mean. Kalllie deserves the whole world and lots of justice and I'm so glad she ends up getting exactly that! You're going to love her just like I do and you're going to love her sister Mel too! She's a total badass that you will want going to bat (almost literally sometimes lol) for you. Grey though will also absolutely steal your heart! They have some of the most motivating and beautiful quotes and some of the most vocalized dirty thoughts that they make you feel like you need a Grey as a friend of your own! One who will always kick your butt, remind you how amazing you are, and to have fun. They're such a beautiful person!
In regards to the actual story, this was nothing short of breathtaking! Everything is so vivid and you feel as if you're right inside of the characters world and that you're along for the ride the whole time. You're going to laugh out loud, be filled with feet kicking giddiness, swoon and dream that you wish you could be Kallie when it comes to Evren. You're also going to feel like your heart is absolutely breaking alongside them all but I promise the repair is worth it!
If you're looking for your next read with cozy hallmark movies vibes but with far better writing and so much more fun regardless of the paranormal side, you're going to absolutely love this book, and all that she writes!

This was so incredibly cute! I loved every second of this book! Kallie was such a sweet FMC, and getting to see her work toward healing from her past while pushing to progress her business was absolutely beautiful! I loved that, despite how much she was going through, she allowed her personality to shine and kept herself open to the potential of the future! And Evren was so wonderful, seeing him allow himself to see what he needs in his workaholic life! He had the perfect blend of possessive and supportive with Kallie, and I loved how he worked to help without overstepping! Getting to watch these two come together was so beautiful, and I just really loved every part of this book!! Maison de Loup is quickly becoming one of my favorite cozy paranormal authors!! 5 stars; 3.75 chili peppers

Oh my god what an absolute delight that was. Honestly the 0.5 star take away was because it made me cry too many times 😂 I wanted to shake Kallie by the shoulders when she started pushing everyone away but I know better than to touch a demon's mate so I sat and waited for her to come to her senses and she did and it was beautiful and ahhhhh
He calls her 'Doll', she describes him as "sex on a stick disguised as a businessman", and the bond they share had me giggling, blushing, swooning hard, and yeah, crying one too many times because just like them it hurt me too. It started out as a one night thing between strangers on a cruise, it turned into "until the dock", and it ended with a brand on each of their souls and I really loved it. Sweet, fun, and hot in all the right ways.

OMG how cute was this story!!! Do I need more from this world and these characters, ABSOLUTELY!! As you can hopefully tell I absolutely loved Kallie and Evren’s story. Kallie is a sweet and lovable character who we saw grow and learn to trust after a rough marriage. Evren is a super possessive demon who would do anything for his girl and their chemistry…🔥🔥🔥.
The writing will just grab you, hook, line and sinker! It’s beautiful and allows you feel along with the characters. I was so engrossed that time just flew out the window and now here I am…waiting for what happens next.

I do want to thank the author for giving me a chance to be an arc reader! This is my first book that I have read by this author and I am hooked!!! The banter between all the characters but especially between Kallie and Evren reminded me of my own relationship and friendships. I found it cute a lot of the time and spicy at times. I definitely despise Matt, Kallie's ex-husband. I really enjoyed this book. I plan on reading more by this author.

Kallie's sister sends her on a cruise after her tough divorce and struggling business. Evran, a fire demon, went on a cruise with his family, but they didn't make it. They keep running into each other and have a mutual attraction. Kallie is an FMC going through a rough time in her life. Evran is usually a workaholic, but being on the cruise makes him stop and take in what's around him. This is a romantic story, but there are plenty of obstacles in the couple's way. Besides the romance, there is suspense, spice, and surprises. It was such a fun paranormal romance.

This was such a cute read! Both Evren and Kallie were in a cruise because of their family. Kallie is a human celebrating her divorce, and Evren is an overworked demon. Both were lonely, but chose to emerge themselves in their work. I loved the instant chemistry between them. Kallie has to decide if she wants to take a second chance on finding happiness and trust herself in the process. Evren definitely falls first.

Wow! Starts off as a typical meet cute, hot and spicy, bound to end up together story and then takes a bunch of turns you don’t see coming! Such a great read!!
