I like the series and the world building, but the harem side of things were disappointing. 3 additions were added to the harem, 2 were additions that have been teased and built through all 3 books, but the payoff was lacking and disappointing, almost felt like an after thought. A new character introduced in this book was added to the harem, so the existing relationships took a back seat to add in this new character that didn't really add much to the story or provide new powers or growth for the MC. The story and characters suffered from her introduction. Honestly, with how rushed the relationships were in this book, I think the author was trying to wrap the story-line up in 3 books, but then decided not to at the end. It's not enough for me to not read the next book in the series, but I won't be seeking it out either. It's gone from a must-read series to read if bored and there are no other options.

feeling happy and sad at the same time

The story was excellent. The characters grew on you and made you proud for knowing them and relieved to let them move on. The ones that stayed got the what’s the word. The Royal treatment. I’m glad that the other medium got her wish also now he can have children. Great story. Be a good movie also.

I wish I liked this one more. The series was great, and I was so invested in the storyline as it was built throughout the series, but I feel like it was built so well in books 1 & 2 and then feels rushed in book 3. There are multiple chapters that end with a build up to a moment and then the next chapter just begins days or sometimes weeks later, with no warning, skipping all the interaction you were waiting for. The ending does wrap everything up, but it's so rushed and feels like the author just wanted to be done, which after two books that were so engaging just felt sad to me. It definitely left me wanting
