October 1, 2019A serious moment has happened in Elizabeth's life and she needs a little space (rightfully so) to think about everything and her emotions and all Scott can think about is sex. Nope, I'm out.

I just loved this novella, Scott realizes he's falling for his assistant and doesn't want to lose her. But a blast from the past has Elizabeth Jeffries all confused and why now? Her Ex Shane shows up to bring her good news but that is not the news she wants to hear. She does not know why Shane is back and why he brought her father. She has had no contact with her dad since he left her as a child.
Shane is up to something but she cannot figure it out in the mean time e has to tell Scott they'd have to talk later or another time, he feels he's losing her already.
Henry calls up Scott for a weekend of fun and in hopes that he can invite Elizabeth and her friend Lacey , because he likes her.
Scott in hopes that maybe he won't lose Elizabeth hopes she agrees to this weekend and maybe they can resolve there feelings.
Now Elizabeth has a lot to tell Scott before anything can move forward but guess who shows up announced to Henrys home, Shane.
What is his deal, but he says a lot to keep Lacey her beat friend thinking, Scott thinking there is drama, but will Elizabeth tell him the whole truth? Will she call her dad? Will she go with Scott or Shane?? Will Scott lose Elizabeth to Shane?
Its a short read but a lot comes out of this novella!!
I received a ARC copy for an honest review and I really enjoyed it and shows other characters from her other books! Get it you will enjoy it!! But read Falling For My Boss first!!

I had already forgotten what happen in the previous book so going into this one I was a bit lost.
Elizabeth was a skitz. She didn't know what to think. She was just getting me aggravated.
Scott I liked him but he just always had sex on the brain.
I didn't quite feel a connection in this one.
Her dad and Shane were just filler.
Lacey is unresolved.

I instantly felt a connection to Eliza, we are a lot alike. She had people tell us we are worthless. But she overcame that and was able to let someone in. She followed he heart and that's all that matters.

This story line picks up where book 3 left off!
It's such a non stop listen, and even though it's a short listen, it loaded with so much!! The story picks up with Scott and Elizabeth in her room, and her bff Lacy knocking on her door. What Elizabeth finds in her living room could be Scott's worst nightmare, or an answer to Elizabeth's prayers.
Elizabeth dated seriously with Shane in college, and she thought he loved her, her mother died of a broken heart. Elizabeth broke up with Shane years ago, and I couldn't understand why would she want to give Shane time to explain!?? But, it all works out well for the flow of this story line.
Scott and Elizabeth and Lacy are invited to weekend house dinner with Scott's sister boyfriend Xandor's brother's house, Henry. Dis you get that :)

"Połówka" kończąca historię Elizabeth i Scotta. Fajne, że wszystko zostało wyjaśnione między nimi i też mogą być już szczęśliwą parką. Chemia między bohaterami taka sama jak wcześniej, a może nawet większa.

Eliza is overwhelmed and confused when Shane, the man that broke her heart in the most callous way possible, shows up unexpectedly after years with father in tow. Just when Scott thought he and Eliza were over the games and starting something good Shane shows up and she becomes distant. Heartfelt, funny and a little naughty, this cast of characters are a pure delight! Eliza must face her past and learn to trust Scott with her heart or they will both lose. Great story and awesome addition to the series. Cannot wait to read Henry and Lacey!

Oh to be Seduced
I wanted to and want to throat punch Elizabeth. She keeps trying to.blame Scott and unless I missed a lot, it is not his fault. Scott has been pretty great with Elizabeth and he has a reason to be hesitant. Elizabeth needs therapy. She needs.to.attend weekly and then maybe have a relationship. She's lucky that Scott is amazing. Elizabeth needs to admit fault and own up to her mistakes. I'm interested if Lacey will still talk to her though.

I love how this book draws you in and makes you fall in love with it. This novella is just the perfect ending to the book. Really glad I read it. Loved the characters.

I don’t usually give 3 stars reviews, ( the first one got 4⭐️, because I imagine how much work, hours and so much more it takes to write a book) but seriously this series is not my cup of tea.. I mean the story is cute, but the dialogue between characters is way juvenile for my tastes… I’ll continue to finish it, because I’m not one to start a book/series and never finish it, even if it’s a struggle to do so.

Novella for clarity
This is quite short, but worth while updating to the original "Falling for my boss" book
Had to find out what happened, it was ok, came away thinking really that's it? Not my usual response to a JS Cooper book.

Far too short for the price

These books are so corny. These women are so immature. It's hard to believe this is the same author that wrote the Sinclare series, that I loved. I'm not even going to explain this book I'm so glad it was free or I would be mad that I paid money for this.

I didn't know this book was a part of 'falling for my boss' on Kindle. It was okay and I didn't mind the story I just can't wait to read the story about Henry and Lacey

"Seducing My Assistant" (One Night Stand Series Book 3.5) by Helen Cooper and J. S. Cooper is a good read. I enjoyed Elizabeth 'Eliza' and Scott's story. This is a nice addition to the One Night Stand Series. I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next in this series. Recommend to all fans of romance, and coming of age stories.

Seducing my Assistant was a very quick read that kept you guessing what will happen between the characters Eliza and Scott. There was a bombshell of a surprise at the end of the previous book so I couldn't wait to get my hands on this one to find out what was happening.
I thought that Eliza was pretty indecisive in this book but I loved Scott! I just think that after the shocker in the first book he had a right to be hesitant towards Eliza but he wasn't. He was so caring and compassionate towards her.
"You're the first thing on my mind when I wake up. The last thing on my mind before I go to sleep"
"Trust me. Trust in me."
Scott just always seemed to know the right things to say to melt your heart and make you fall in love with him even more.
There was also the ex boyfriend that came into the picture... Shane. I didn't like Shane from the very beginning. I had this feeling that he was up to no good and wanted Eliza to stay away from him. With it being her first love it wasn't so easy.
"At one point, this man in front of me had been the love of my life. At one point, he had been my everything. My absolute everything. And now, I felt nothing."
I felt we were left hanging with the situation between Eliza and Lacey. I hope there will be some kind of resolution for that issue in the next book that is about Henry and Lacey! I can't wait to read that to find out what happens with those two characters!

Wow I just finish reading this book and like always I love it. But what can I say I love every book that I get to read from J.S. Cooper love how she write. I am going to keep this short and sweet since I don't want to give anything away and it was a short story.
The story begging with Scott and Elizabeth making out, while Scott is trying to get her to forgive him but when she's about to give him an answer someone bangs on her door, that's when he hear the male voice of Elizabeth ex who show up after years of not seen him, but his not alone he brought someone else with him. That's when their world turn up side down again and secrets will come out unto the light will they get their happy ending.
I have to say that I love how Scott and Elizabeth are with each other, even thought Elizabeth got me mad at some points cause of the way she treat it him, but Scott always stood by her side and show her that he will not leave her.

You need to read Falling for my Boss to understand Seducing my Assistant. I'm a big fan of JS Cooper and this book didn't dissapointed me. This is the closure for Elizabeth and Scott's story. Elizabeth is afraid to tell Scott all about her past and Scott will do everything to keep her. I'm sure you will enjoy the book.

Scott and Elizabeth have finally come together and then her past collides with her present and with it comes secrets and shame she so desperately wants to forget. JS Cooper keeps you guessing just what secret Elizabeth is hiding. Elizabeth questions everything and doesn't know if she can trust again. My heart breaks for her and Scott. His feelings for her are strong. I loved his point of view and knowing how he truly feels. You've got to read this book and find out if Elizabeth secrets are revealed and if she is able to forgive herself and find love.

After waiting over a year for this to come out I'm so disappointed. I understand sometimes books need more time and the release gets pushed back, no problem but the books should be amazing with all the effort. I'm so sad to write this review. The first book was good and I read it again when this books came out to make sure I didn't forget anything. This book was all over the place. I'm at a loss for words because I'm confused as to why they ended up together. She was a hot mess (we all are) and he was playing games the whole time then BAM they love each other and don't care about what is going on. It made no sense and made the book annoying. I'm a sucked for an HEA but (spoiler) then there's a third book? No thank you!

Wow, another great story from JS Cooper!! Fantastic sequel to Falling for my boss and a interesting introduction to the next in the series Falling for the Billionaire!!
I loved Scott and Elizabeth's story and how they overcome the past colliding with the present.

Finally......
Long wait to the conclusion of Falling for my boss. Of course the book was good. My only complaint was this book was a novella. I felt the long wait the book would have been a novel. Great storyline overall.

Seducing My Assistant picks up right where Falling For My Boss left off. We find out who was at the door. We find out why said person was at the door. We find out the secrets that Elizabeth has been keeping from even her best friend Lacey. We find out more about her dad. We see more into Henry as a person, as well as Lacey. Finally, we will find out what happens between Scott and Elizabeth. With the ending of Seducing My Assistant on a cliff hanger for Elizabeth's and Lacey's friendship, it should smoothly confine in Falling For The Billionaire.
This book is everything like all the others before it in this series. We get to see a little of the hang together. J.S. Cooper did keep me guessing in this book, constantly wondering what happened in the past. I'm really looking for the next book!

Elizabeth grew up without a dad and for that her mom always blamed her. She was emotionally abusive so it was hard for Elizabeth to open up to people. When she finally did to Shane he ended up leaving her broken hearted. She thought she found a great one in Scott but still had her reservations, that was until Shane walked back into her life and bringing a blast from the past.

I enjoyed this novella. Elizabeth and Scott are together when Elizabeth's past collides with their present and threatens their future!
I enjoyed reading Scott's point of view and it showed his feelings for Elizabeth and how deep they went.
It doesn't take long to reveal one of her secrets though. I felt sorry for Elizabeth and everything that has happened to her in her life.
You have to read Falling For My Boss to understand this book. I was a little disappointed that it was less than a 100 pages but hay can always read it again to get more of a fix of Elizabeth and Scott. I felt as though the ending was a bit rushed and not enough answers regarding her father? Left with a few questions!
