The Return of Finley Taylor
Finley Taylor has spent the last four years tactfully avoiding the small coastal town in Maine from which she came. 4⭐️: A very cute love story! There was a moment between the FMC and the MMC’s mom towards the end that pulled at my heartstrings, and one of my fave moments in the whole book! A wonderful summer romance read☺️☀️

Hard to believe that this is a debut novel! This novel had me feeling as though I was sitting down with an old friend as if no time had gone by! It was that familiar comfort that we all love and was the summer romance read that I needed! Definitely add this to your summer read list!

I really enjoyed The Return of Finley Taylor. From the first chapters, the story pulled me in and kept me engaged all the way through. It was an easy read in the best possible way—I never felt like I had to push through a chapter because I genuinely wanted to know what would happen next.
One of my favorite parts of the book was the characters. They felt authentic and relatable. I found myself connecting not only with Finley and the younger characters as they tried to figure out where they belonged, but also with the parents. As someone who's lived through different stages of life, I appreciated seeing both generations represented with honesty and warmth.
I also loved the Maine setting. It added so much charm to the story and made this feel like the perfect summer read. The coastal atmosphere was vivid without overpowering the characters, and it made me want to visit.
What stayed with me the most, though, was Finley's personal journey. I appreciated that she didn't simply rush into a new relationship. Instead, she grew into someone who became comfortable and confident with her life before taking that next step. That made the ending feel earned and satisfying. It wasn't just about finding love—it was about finding herself first, and I thought that was a wonderful message.
Thank you for writing a rom-com that delivered the romance while also giving readers characters they could genuinely relate to and root for. It left me smiling, and I'll definitely be recommending it to others looking for a heartfelt, engaging summer read.

Hit all the right parts to be a lovely summer read! Beautiful scenery, good food, an array of relationships and of course a love story. I flew through it! Slides right in the genre alongside Emily Henry and Carly Fortune.
(My personal bias, the love story had enough depth and interest to not need the explicit parts, that will make me careful about who I reccomend this to, but that’s just me :))
