Loved this story about Greer who is a work alcoholic who recently lost her job of 14 years decided to go to her girlfriend week-end on Sugarberry Island . There is a property auction the first night and she bids and wins an old ice cream shop. The Whippy Dippy. She claims this was one of the craziest things shes. Follow her as she fixes it up with minimal help and if she sells it or makes it so she can run again and what it means to her. A VERY GOOD READ.

This was a nice story. The writing was a bit different, almost as if it was a translation. It was totally unnecessary to mention her fourteen year career 65 times and her age 15 times. The amount of times segments were in parentheses was something I have never seen in a book. All this was fairly easy to ignore because of the interesting story.

I wish there was information about this author. Here and online there is virtually nothing.

Easy, light read that I really enjoyed. I loved following Greer’s journey as she discovered her true self, challenged the life she was accustomed to, and stepped into a world she never expected. A sweet story about growth, finding yourself, and being open to the unexpected.
