This book was given to me by one of "Fishbones'' daughters, many moons ago. I thoroughly enjoyed it. How hard the hobo has to live, day by day, seeking out small jobs here and there, just to buy something to eat. And, the characters met along the way, provide an insight into the culture of the 1930s. I met "Fishbones" once and he was a kind, gentle soul.
