Ascent
The world has fallen, but Xavier refuses to give up.
With a stolen Grek ship and a crew built from soldiers, scientists, and civilians who are all forced to take their stand, Xavier knows hiding is no longer an option. Every day, fewer free people remain as the Greks pull more into the ranks of the Taken, their eyes glowing with a will driven by some unseen force—with his own family among their number. If there's any chance of breaking the enemy’s grip on humanity, Xavier has to do the leave the familiarity of Earth behind and chase the source of the threat across the stars, straight to the Greks' own homeworld.
But what they find there is more than Xavier bargained for—alliances he never imagined, threats no one can outrun, and a discovery that the invasion runs far deeper than anyone thought possible!
Can Xavier hold his crew together long enough to strike a blow at the heart of the enemy? Action-packed from the first page to the last, this thrilling sequel pushes Xavier's fight for his family into the depths of the unknown, where the stakes only seem to climb higher by the day!
