Grey has been watching his boss for months. He knows his schedule. His passwords. The way his voice drops when he's tired. He collects pens, paperclips, a photograph he took through the window of Cain's apartment.
He thinks he's invisible. He's wrong.
Cain has known all along. He's been watching Grey watch him. He's been waiting to see how far Grey will go. When a third player enters the game, a woman who's been obsessed with Cain for years, the lines between predator and prey blur.
Who's hunting who? And what happens when the hunter becomes the hunted?
Every day, I learn to write the perfect dark MM. And every day, I fall deeper in love with the chaos of it.
I have a confession: I'm obsessed with morally grey men, forbidden desires, and the kind of love that destroys and rebuilds in equal measure.
I write dark MM romance for readers who root for the villain and aren't afraid of the shadows. PREY, is a stalker romance where the hunter becomes the hunted, and the boss is watching the whole time.
When I'm not writing, I'm reading, dreaming up my next obsessive hero, or convincing myself I don't have a type (I do).

This is a 90-minute read. There's no world building, everything is instant - instant love, instant attraction, instant escalation, instant "you're mine, spend your life with me", instant danger, etc.
If you want something that moves very fast with little-to-no-context or reasons, you'll enjoy this little story.
The leaps the characters make in logic and in emotion didn't feel real or earned, which made me question their choices (and their sanity) at every turn.
I know we suspend a certain level of reality when we read dark romance, but the company emails/HR notifications were........ unbelievable in a way that yanked me out of the story. In no corporate world would that have happened.
The story has potential - some of the small details are unique and interesting. This version of it felt like watching a movie on fast forward.
Thank you to the author for the advanced reader copy.
5/5 stars. Hands down amazing. Grey is the kind if character who gets under your skin. He's obsessive. Desperate and completely consumed with his need to be close to Cain.. But then the twist hits. Cain knew.. he was watching the entire time and encouraging it. The pacing is fast. The spice is on fire , and the emotional depth caught me off guard. If You love dark romance with stalker vibes, power imbalances, and morally grey men. READ this book.

5stars I went into this expecting a dark, steamy stalker romance. I GOT THAT AND SO MUCH MORE. Grey is an absolute character, I just love him. His obsession is raw in the best way possible, his desperation and need to seen is a A+. The pacing is fast, the tension is immediate, and the spice is absolutely amazing. If u love: -Fast paced, binge worthy reads -morally grey characters -dark, obsessive Romance And -a twisted that flips the script. Then I recommend this.
The author needed a better editor / beta reader, many many small mistakes that should’ve been caught. The book is not very good, its obsession, meets insta love and unrequited spurned friend, wanna be lover. It’s short, so it wasn’t too bad in that sense, but it wasn’t very good. Don’t recommend unfortunately..
