Solomiya is a doctor, and Danulo is a gangster. How can they be together? One day, she saves the boss's life, and it turns her world upside down. She is not only a doctor, but also very well versed in finance and comes from an old family. She keeps it all a secret from everyone, trying to protect her nephew. When she tries to help her nephew, she takes a risk. She doesn't trust anyone and does everything by herself. Every time he asks her for something, she says no, but he keeps coming back for more. She is the only bright spot in his dark world. He had a difficult childhood, and he loves dogs, even though they hurt him at some point. His father beat him and threw them, but he loves them anyway. Solomiya is afraid of dogs because she also had an unpleasant experience with them. But Danulo gives her a puppy anyway and helps her overcome her fear. It's so cute! Sometimes a gangster needs to be nice.. With everyone else, Danulo is a tough, domineering, seasoned guy. It was great to see him breaking down all the barriers that Solomiya had erected. Did he succeed? Absolutely. He forced her to trust him and accept him. If her family thought that a woman was incapable of anything, then he made her feel that they were on equal terms with him. He showed her what it means to be on the same level. She deserves everything she wants. Overall, I really enjoyed this book and the entire series. It's so surreal. The characters are great. You will never regret reading this. This is a mafia story that everyone will love.

Me gustó mucho la redacción, la historia y, sobre todo, la construcción de los personajes. La protagonista me pareció una mujer inteligente, fuerte y con un pasado que poco a poco vamos descubriendo. Ella también tiene vínculos con el mundo de la mafia y eso hace que no sea simplemente “la mujer que se enamora del mafioso”, sino que tenga sus propios secretos, conflictos y una historia detrás.

También disfruté muchísimo la dinámica entre ellos. Él es ese tipo de personaje que demuestra su amor de una manera intensa y absoluta.


P.D. Siendo diseñadora me causó problema la portada de manera muy personal los personajes que imaginé no encajan con los de la portada,
