Get this quick. You can grab it on Amazon

I was so happy to see Kizzy back as well as seeing the new circumstances our favorite characters have found themselves in. Without giving any spoilers I was able to meet my new role model in the second chronicle.
This was an amazing story and I am waiting with bated breath for the next

The Forgotten Magic Chronicles: Awakened Magic — Book 2 by Krysten Coldsmith 🔮✨

I thought I was ready for Book 2 after Forgotten Magic…

I absolutely was NOT. 😂✨

After staying up until 2 AM reading the first book, I knew I had to continue Ana's story, and Awakened Magic did not disappoint. If Book 1 pulled me into this world, Book 2 deepened the magic, expanded the characters, and left me with even more questions.

One of the things I enjoyed most about this sequel was seeing what happened to the characters I had already become attached to. Kizzy is back! ❤️ And I was genuinely happy to see her again. We also meet new characters who bring their own stories, personalities, and mysteries into the mix. At this point, it would be nearly impossible for me to pick just one favorite because I am invested in so many of their individual journeys.

Ana continues to be at the heart of everything, and I really enjoyed watching her learn more about herself and the abilities connected to her. Discovering that she is connected to all of the elements and spirit adds another fascinating layer to her character. She has so much to learn, and I liked that the answers aren't simply handed to her. She has to navigate the magic, the memories, the relationships, and the consequences of everything she is discovering.

The connection between past and present remains one of my favorite parts of this series. There is something beautiful about the idea that certain people and connections can continue across time. Love, loyalty, family, and even old wounds don't necessarily disappear just because one lifetime ends.

And the world-building…

WOW.

The first book introduced me to this magical world, but Awakened Magic makes it feel much bigger. We get more magic, more mysteries, curses, elemental abilities, wolves, fairies, relationships, and connections between the characters. There is always another piece of the puzzle waiting to be uncovered.

I also appreciated that the story doesn't completely answer everything. Normally, that would drive me crazy—but here it works because the unanswered questions make me want Book 3 immediately. 😂

There are still so many things I want to understand:

🔮 What exactly is the full extent of Ana's abilities?
⏳ How deeply are the past and present connected?
❤️ Which relationships will survive everything still coming?
🐺 What other secrets are waiting to be uncovered?
✨ How will the characters' different paths eventually come together?
🗝️ And what consequences will the discoveries in this book have moving forward?

I have theories… but I'm keeping them to myself because I don't want to spoil anything! 👀

What I took away from this book

✨ We don't always know our own strength until we're forced to discover it.

✨ Understanding where you come from can help you understand who you are becoming.

✨ Family isn't always determined by blood. The found-family elements continue to be one of the things I enjoy most about this series.

✨ Some connections can withstand time and circumstances.

✨ Learning to control your abilities is only part of becoming comfortable with who you are.

✨ And sometimes the journey isn't about finding every answer—it's about being willing to keep searching.

This sequel also made me think about how much our past influences the people we become without necessarily determining our future. Ana is discovering pieces of herself and her history while simultaneously trying to figure out what she wants to do with that knowledge.

And now…

I NEED BOOK 3. 😂📚

The ending left me with way too many questions and way too much anticipation. I have absolutely no idea where Krysten Coldsmith is going to take these characters next, but I am completely invested in finding out.

Book 1 pulled me into the magic.

Book 2 made me part of the mystery.

Now I'm waiting impatiently for Book 3. 🔮✨

If you enjoy fantasy romance, elemental magic, time travel, reincarnation, fated connections, found family, curses, wolves, fairies, multiple timelines, historical elements, and characters with complicated pasts, this is a series worth checking out.

Five stars from me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

And yes, Krysten…

I'm going to need the next book. 😂🔮

I thought I was ready for Book 2… I absolutely was NOT. 😭✨
After finishing the first book, I immediately had to get my hands on Awaken Magic, and this sequel threw me straight back into Ana’s world and somehow made everything even more magical, mysterious, and addictive.
Ana is living her life at the Renaissance Faire when memories from her past begin bleeding into her present. At first, they feel like dreams or strange visions, but it quickly becomes clear that these are pieces of a past life, and the people surrounding her may be far more connected to that life than she ever could have imagined.
And WOW. The revelations in this book! 🐺🧚‍♀️✨
There is so much more to discover, and I loved watching Ana navigate everything being thrown her way. The world expands beautifully, the magic deepens, and the story pulls you further into the mystery of who these characters really are and why their paths keep finding one another.
And YES, Kizzy is back! ❤️ I was so happy to see her again, while also getting introduced to new characters who add even more depth and intrigue to the story.
But one of my favorite parts is the feeling that some connections simply cannot be broken by time. There are loves that don't belong to just one lifetime, and this story captures that idea beautifully. The romance, the magic, the secrets, the wolves, the fairies, the time-travel elements… it all comes together into a wonderfully immersive adventure.
If you love magical worlds, reincarnation, time travel, wolves, fairies, romance, mystery, and a love that somehow finds its way back to you no matter how many lifetimes stand between you, you NEED this series on your TBR.
Book 1 pulled me in.
Awaken Magic completely enchanted me. ✨
Five stars isn't enough for this one.

Awakened Magic was an absolutely perfect continuation of The Forgotten Magic Chronicles. It takes everything I enjoyed about the first book and gives the story a more personal focus. I was already invested in the world Coldsmith created, but this installment made me feel even more invested in Ana herself.
What I loved most was Coldsmith’s take on reincarnation. In a lot of books, a reincarnated character either remembers their previous life right away, has enough fragments to piece it together quickly, or suddenly gets all their memories back at the most convenient moment. Ana’s experience isn’t that easy. She has to work to regain her memories for a good portion of the book, and I appreciated that. It made her journey feel more believable and gave those discoveries room to matter instead of rushing past them.
The two books also have different strengths. Book one focused more on world-building and gave readers insight into Romani culture and lifestyle. Awakened Magic turns its attention toward Ana; her life, her connection to the past, and the memories she needs to recover to move the story forward. That shift felt right for a second book. Now that I had a sense of the world, I wanted to spend more time with the person at the center of it.
I have to mention Xena, too. I absolutely loved her, if only because she brought me back to a much simpler time in my life. That little bit of nostalgia made the reading experience even more fun for me.
And then there’s the ending. Was it predictable? For me, yes. Did I care? Not one bit. It landed exactly where it needed to and set things up for the next installment. I finished this book excited to see where Ana’s story goes next. Easy five stars!

Okay, I’m officially invested in Ana’s chaos, lol.

Awakened Magic picks up where the first book left off and gives us even more magic, curses, secrets, past love, and of course… found family.

Ana finding out that she’s connected to ALL the elements and spirit was such an interesting addition to her story. There’s a lot for her to figure out, and I liked seeing everything slowly come together as she learns more about herself and her abilities.

If you’re into fantasy with elemental magic, curses, found family, complicated relationships, and a little romance mixed in, this series is definitely one to add to your TBR. I’m curious to see what happens next because there are still WAY too many questions floating around in my head.

Book 2 starts exactly where book 1 leaves off. There is no guessing what happened or nothing like that. Ana wakes up in a mental asylum where she escapes and learns some detrimental things about her bloodline. She also learns that she carries more than just the fire element she initially thought. So this book basically carries us through her learning about all of that and how to use it all. And dont count out her love with Ti. I dont wanna ruin the book for you so thats all im gonna say about that. I binged this book between last night and tonight and couldnt put it down. Now ima be in a reading slump until the other 4 books come out.

Absolutely loved this! I love how Ana is really leaning about her magic and how to harness it, while also just realizing that her memories and feelings are coming back and hitting her hard. She knows these people are important to her but she is only slowly remembering why. The magic here is so fun and I love how it's approached by everyone in the story. They race to rewrite history together, trusting in themselves, and in the magic.

Extremely strong sequel. Now anxiously awaiting the next installment. Love the characters and it would be hard for me to pick a favorite. I am so into all of their stories and the paths they will be taking. Such an amazingly creative world of mystery and magic and I hope some smart studio buys the rights and makes epic, author approved, films. It deserves the big screen and music to go along with the story. Time travel, love across the ages- it has it all.

I found myself getting so invested in the characters and everything they were going through. The magic, mystery, and twists kept me wanting just one more chapter. I’m seriously loving this series and cannot wait to see what happens next! So so good!

Such a gentle way getting into the 2nd book of "The Forgotten Magic Chronicles". Where Ana had her memories erased and had to relearned about everything while rediscovering herself again and the people who are important to her.

This book was well made. I loved that it has a ren Faire setting and the aspects of gypsy magic and ancestral healing. Watching the fmc come into her power was beautiful.
