🧁💕 Cupcakes & Crumbs was the sweetest little small-town romance!
Starting over in Primrose Glenn was supposed to be simple for our heroine: buy the bakery, open the doors and prove to herself that leaving her old life in New York was the right decision.
Then she meets Ben Greenwood. 👀
Ben is the ridiculously handsome single dad renovating her bakery — and somehow, his adorable five-year-old daughter has already decided that our heroine belongs in their family. 🥹❤️
Ben is the ultimate golden retriever single dad, always putting everyone else before himself, while our heroine brings all the black cat energy. Their personalities couldn’t be more different, but the chemistry between them is impossible to ignore.
Of course, small-town life comes with its own set of rules…
❌ Don’t fall for the builder renovating your bakery.
❌ Don’t let his adorable daughter play matchmaker.
❌ Definitely don’t get involved with meddling neighbours who are determined to give you your happily ever after!

I absolutely loved this book! It was warm, cosy and full of the kind of small-town charm that makes you want to pack your bags and move straight to Primrose Glenn. The slow-burn romance was adorable, but the relationship between the heroine and Ben’s daughter completely stole my heart. 🥹
There’s something so lovely about watching two people who have been hurt or guarded in different ways slowly learn to trust each other — especially with an entire town quietly cheering them on.

Six Star Read
Cupcakes and Crumbs is my new instant favourite read of Abbey’s. It was everything I’ve come to love about her writing.
Ben and Fallon’s black cat x golden retriever story was filled with hilarious banter and a delicious simmering slow burn. But what I loved most of all was the emotion and vulnerability intertwined with the sweetness of the small town setting and spicy workplace romance— I totally didn’t cry twice!
So if you love any of these vibes with a MMC who knows her coffee order and a FMC gives you hope of starting over and finding yourself, then Cupcakes and Crumbs is for you 🩷

She's smashed it out of the park again, i've been so lucky to be an ARC reader for Abbey multiple times now and I never get bored with her books, they are something I know i'll always get stuck into. The characters and the writing always makes you feel like you're with them in true time, it's filled with love, tension and all the good drama but the book itself is written with dedication, time, love and effort. I loved Fallon from the beginning, with Ben and Bonnie it's the perfect read. I LOVED every page of this book and i'm sure everyone else will too!
