Hey there. I'm Weston.

Have we met? No? Well, that's a shame, but let's fix it.

I'm a former firefighter and EMS guy who traded emergency calls for romance novels. These days, I write stories about bad boys, billionaires, military heroes, and the kind of men who occasionally make questionable decisions before finding their way back to what matters most. Love.

I live in Texas with my wife, our three kids, and enough animals to qualify for a small petting zoo. Life is loud, busy, and wonderfully chaotic, which is probably why I enjoy disappearing into stories where love somehow manages to win in the end.

At the heart of every book I write is the same belief: life can be hard, but a great love story reminds us that hope, healing, forgiveness, and second chances are always worth fighting for. And to put your mind at ease, I don't use any AI in my books. They're all fully flawed and done by humans. No way in hell I'd give my job to a machine when it's the reason I get up in the morning. So put that worry to bed.

Instead, grab your favorite drink, find a comfortable spot, and stay a while. The real world will still be there when you're done.

Until then, welcome to mine.

I love my time with the Blackwell’s 🩷
I’m always happy to read another story in The Billionaire Legacy Series and to be back in LA reading A Los Angeles Blackwell Brothers novel.
This is book 6 and it’s Drew’s turn to give up his single status and find the woman perfect for him.
It just so happens that his best friend Kensey is in LA for the summer staying with her parents.
She surprises Drew whilst he is working and they spend a fun filled day together at the new site of his next project.
Her attention to detail and their easy going relationship has him offering her a position over the summer as his assistant.
With her secret crush on him and their close proximity, Kensey is not sure that taking the job is wise.
However she does and both Drew and her begin to feel the sizzling chemistry that is starting to happen between them.
In true Blackwell style Kensey is treated like a princess and is dressed in the most gorgeous dress to appear at the show.
Wow! Does Drew notice.
This is a beautiful friends to lovers story that isn’t always straight forward.
With both not wanting to ruin the friendship they have, they decide to not take it any further.
But when a Blackwell falls it doesn’t take long before he’s backpedaling and going after his lady.
Such an enjoyable story.
Drew and Kensey were perfect together plus the interactions with the characters from previous books added to the storyline.
Weston has this amazing ability of making you feel like you are a part of the story.
Whether it be in amongst the models with Annika faultlessly fitting them, at the venue with all the beautiful people in their gorgeous outfits or with Drew and Kensey as they spend time with each other.
It’s perfect and his attention to detail is incredible.
Thank you Weston Parker for the opportunity to read this wonderful book.

‘Letting an assistant into your life was a very intimate thing’ – Romance on a grand scale!

Texas author Weston Parker has gathered much of his experiences he generously shares in his Bad Boy romance books as a firefighter/EMS man. He now travels and writes, at times with his sister Ali Parker, and at times alone, and his books are all the rage with the Chick Lit audience who undoubtedly love the manner in which a man creates the hot steamy erotica that women usually write for this audience. Weston keeps it real with people with whom we can identify readily and he writes with such powerful eroticism that his novels steam from cover to cover.

Weston opens his book with a flavor that is the seed of the story from Drew, the lead character – ‘Upstairs in the manager’s office of’ the Blackwell Couture store, I was sitting at my desk when a text message lit up my screen and taunted me. Edith: We need to talk now. Grumbling, I dropped the phone in my pocket and crossed my office in half a dozen strides. I was her boss. Not the other way around. Where did my assistant manager get off sending a text like that? On the other hand, she was amazing at her job, and running this place without her would be a nightmare…’

Securing the attention of readers, Weston condenses the plot as follows: ‘I've dated enough women to know exactly what I'm looking for. Apparently, I was wrong. Because the woman who completely wrecks my standards isn't some supermodel I met at a rooftop bar. She's my best friend. The one who bakes muffins, laughs with her whole body, and can keep a secret. The one who knows every embarrassing story my brothers would pay good money to hear. The one I somehow never noticed had the kind of smile that makes coming home feel different. Now she's spending the summer working beside me. However, sleeping beside me wasn't part of the plan. Neither was realizing I don't want her going back to the other side of the country. I've spent years chasing the next exciting thing. Turns out forever has been sitting right beside me since second grade. And if I have anything to say about it... She was always meant to be mine.’ Fleshed out characters, a significant life change, and a solid romance as a payoff. This is another steamy erotic piece that works on every level.

There's something incredibly heartwarming about a friends-to-lovers romance done right, and Meant to Be Mine delivered exactly that. Kensey and Drew's friendship, built over more than a decade, gave their relationship such a strong emotional foundation that every interaction felt genuine and meaningful.

I loved how Kensey's return to Los Angeles for the summer naturally brought her and Drew back into each other's daily lives. Taking on the temporary assistant role at the flagship store created the perfect opportunity for them to see each other in a different light. Watching years of friendship slowly evolve into undeniable love was both sweet and rewarding, with the romance developing at a believable pace rather than feeling rushed.

Drew was easy to admire, while Kensey's caring nature and dedication to her teaching career made her an equally lovable heroine. Their playful conversations, unwavering trust, and quiet moments together made me root for them from beginning to end.

It was also a treat to catch up with other members of the Blackwell family. Their appearances added warmth and familiarity to the story, making the world feel even richer without overshadowing Drew and Kensey's romance.

Overall, this was a charming, feel-good romance filled with friendship, family, heartfelt moments, and a love story that proves sometimes the person you're meant to be with has been beside you all along. Another enjoyable read from Weston Parker that left me smiling.

I received an ARC of this book and am sharing my honest opinion.

Drew Blackwell runs the Blackwell Couture luxury store in Beverly Hills with Edith, his assistant manager who currently is arguing that one of them needs to stay at the store while the other completes setting up for the Blackwell Summer Beach promotional. Realizing the truth, Drew decides to hire an assistant for himself and hopes that his best friend Kensey Blake will say yes. Before he can contact her, however, she happens to appears at the store, and he convinces her to take the job. Then, after the wildly successful event, a spark between them ignites and they both submit to their unfettered passion. Only, the next day they each worry about the ramifications of their feelings for the friendship, so they agree to backtrack to the friend zone, which lasted just a little longer than a blink.

What a beautiful, heart warming, passion-filled romance from Weston Parker whose brilliance once again shines with this friends to lovers story. I absolutely love how Drew and Kensey take care of each other during both good times and bad, always putting the other first, which makes the title Meant To Be Mine all the more significant. It was also so lovely to be reunited with East Coast Blackwell cousins from the Billionaire Legacy series and to feel a part of their burgeoning family. So, grab a copy, find your cozy corner, and enjoy this outstanding, sizzling page-turner!

I voluntarily reviewed "MEANT TO BE MINE" this is my honest opinion you don't want to miss this interesting, delightful journey these characters take you on with some emotional twists keeping you reading.
Drew Blackwell owns Blackwell Luxury Couture in Beverly Hills known for its treating their Elite customers as guests, Edith is his assistant manager who tells him he needs to hire an assistant for himself & needs to be at the store during their Summer Beach Event that's happening, she can be a pain in his a** but couldn't do it without her.
Drew's cousins are all on the other side of country all in love, married & having babies they can't help, his best friend since second grade Kensey Blake is who he needs ask if she can help him out.
Kensey is in LA teaching at an Elite Academy School on her way home for the summer her parents aren't getting any younger Drew isn't aware she's coming, will he get her to agree to help him with his projects while there.
Drew & Kensey get quite close during this successful Summer Beach Event igniting a spark they haven't acted on until now after acting on it they worry it'll ruin what they've had, will they end up getting their HEA it's a read you absolutely don't want to miss to see how it all turns out, I lived it.

West Coast Blackwells

Best friends Drew and Kensey are meant to be. They have been close friends for years.
Drew is the manager for the Blackwell family’s first brick-and-mortar store based in California. Kensey is a teacher living on the New Jersey. She comes home to California for what was supposed to be a summer visit.

They have been friends for years and continued their long distance friendship during their time living on two different coasts. The first summer they have had together changes everything. As they reconnect, feelings quietly grow into something much deeper than friendship and neither of them understood was they had been falling in love for years.

Their biggest challenge isn’t whether they belong together—it’s how to make a relationship work when Kensey is expected to return to the East Coast while Drew’s life and business are firmly rooted on the West Coast.
Their HEA comes once they realize their relationship is worth fighting for.
Of course, you know the entire Blackwell family have to make an appearance.

Can’t wait to see who’s the next Blackwell to fall

i read this book as part of an arc program. This is the sixth book in the Billionaire Legacy series. In this book, Drew finds love with his best friend Kensey. Drew is running the store in Beverly Hills for his cousins and is surprised by his best friend Kesey, who was living on the east coast teaching. Kensey decided to come home for a visit when her mother broke her arm and decided she needed to see Drew. Drew offered her a summer job working with him organizing events to promote the store. Kesey is more organized than Drew and he wanted someone he could trust to work with. Drew is also having new feelings toward Kensey, but he is scared of losing his best friend and getting his heart broken when she returns to teaching. Kensey missed home and she is surprised by her new attraction to Drew, but she doesn't think he is interested in her. They both have to decide if a future together is worth the risk. I love this series and really enjoyed reading Drew"s story. I love Weston's books and this is another great one in this series.

Man, Weston really knocked it out of the ball park with this friends-to-lovers romance. Drew and Kinsey have been best friends since prep school and told each other everything And when Kinsey moved to New Jersey to take a teaching position, they kept in touch talking almost daily asking and giving advice on everything including their love life's. With their busy schedule they calls became less and less. They meet up again when Kinsey goes back to LA to visit her parents and it's just like old times but now it's friends with benefits. Drew is in charge of the first brick and mortar store of Blackwell Couture and is planning a huge event and Kinsey volunteers to help. You will be reunited with all the Blackwell brothers, sisters-in-laws, parents and they all welcome Kinsey with open arms. This is a true romantic story that has all the feel good parts that a great, sizzling, romance book should have.

Drew is struggling as he tries to balance the demands of the store that he is managing for the family business. When Kensey, his best friend, arrives for a visit and tells him that she has returned home to spend the summer with her parents he quickly recruits her to be his assistant however working with her has him seeing her as not just a friend but a woman.

Kensey is a teacher in New Jersey who is spending the summer in California. She is happy to see Drew again, but she has her reservations about spending so much time with him as her feelings for him don’t end with friendship. As they spend time together the sparks lly but that is only the beginning as they try to decide where they go from here.

The friendship between Drew and Kensey is the driving force of the story as they already have a deep understanding of each other. They take us on a fulfilling journey as they realize that despite all the challenges they face what really matters is their love for each other.

I loved this next chapter in the Blackwell's story. This time, it's cousin Drew, who's a serial dater, not interested in relationships. He's currently running Blackwell Couture's retail store in California, but he's getting restless. He's got big sooner events to plan, and needs help. Enter Kensey, his best friend, who's home for the summer. Kens is a teacher, so her organization skills are on point, and just what Drew needs to get through these events. As in any true happily ever after story, these two have secretly lived each other forever, and it doesn't take long for sparks to fly between them. There a big conflict though...he is dedicated to the store in the West Coast, and she teaches in New Jersey.
I really enjoyed this story, and some of the reality that kicks in throughout. These two clearly have energy, and it's fun to read as they figure out life and balance.

This is part of the Billionaire Legacy series but can be read as a stand-a-lone. If you've read any of the other books, you'll enjoy seeing some of your favorite Blackwells. A great friends to lovers story and it won't take you long to get emotionally involved with Drew and Kensey. They were best friends when she lived in LA but lost touch when she moved across the country. They get reunited when she's in town to visit her parents and he convinces her to help him with some projects. Wow, what a great story that pulls you in right at the beginning. Sometimes you quit looking everywhere when you realize what you've been looking for is right beside you. An HEA and no cliffhanger. I read a free arc and voluntarily chose to write a review.

Meant to be Mine is probably the best friends to lovers romance I have read in a while. Drew and Kensey met when she started the school he was attending. It was a prep school and Kensey got to go there on a scholarship. She didn’t come from a wealthy family and was nervous and afraid she wouldn’t fit in. Drew decided then and there that he was going to be her friend and that’s exactly what they became was best friends.

No spoilers, you just need to grab this book and read for yourself. It is so good. I loved both Drew and Kensey and how their friendship grows into true love. Great job Weston. I received an arc copy of this book and I am freely leaving an honest review.

Drew and Kensey were best friends since their school days. Their dilemma was a difficult one, did they risk their friendship for more and what if it didn’t work out.
Two gorgeous characters, with an ease in each other’s company, despite living at opposite sides of the country, it was a story that kept you on your toes.
It took an embarrassing event in the office before they sorted themselves out. I was in impressed by the way in which Drew owned his behaviour and how he put things right.
Another great story in this series, I love the camaraderie when the whole family group gets together.

Meant To Be Mine by Weston Parker

Drew Blackwell and Kensey Blake have been best friends since high school. He lives in Los Angeles and she has returned home for the summer from teaching in New Jersey to help her mom manage a broken arm. She surprises him at his workplace with muffins on her first day back in town. He asks her to assist him for the summer. They both finally realize that they harbor deeper feelings for each other and decide to act on those feelings. It's a great love story with a very happy ending.

Drew and Kinsey are lifelong friends who tells each other everything. When she comes to town and visits the store Drew ask her to help him with the planning of the new store. It leads to a relationship neither saw coming and if Drew has his way their relationship will become more. She wasn't on the radar but now that he has found her he is going to do everything possible to keep her in his life. This story had me connecting with Drew and Kinsey as their relationship builds over the pages.
I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book.

Drew is helping at the Blackwell Couture Boutique in LA. He has an eye for detail and he is a tireless worker pitching in where needed. He has one major business flaw he isn’t well organized with keeping things in the correct priority. Kensey, his long time best friend is back in town and agrees to be his assistant. She is fabulous, organized, a straight shooter, while being kind. Now how did we get here? You must read to find out. Drew and Kensey have a ten year history that led to them going from best friends to a forever couple.

This review has my thoughts and opinions about this book.

We head back to the LA Blackwell's. It is Drew's turn to find love. He has been running the new flagship store for Blackwell Couture. When in walks his best friend Kensey, who is home for summer break from her teaching job. Kensey has always known she had stronger feelings for her best friend. Drew wasn't aware until they start working together for the summer event series for the store. Weston hit it out of the park for this best friends to lovers book. It was authentic and real. A must read to see how they navigate the ups and downs to get to their HEA.

This was another great Blackwell family story. Drew had taken over management of the LA flagship store. It gave him purpose and an outlet for creativity. But something was missing - something that appeared in the form of an unexpected visit from his best friend bearing his favorite blueberry muffins.

Muffins turned into a summer job for Kensey. Which turned into lots of forced proximity and flying sparks. Drew and Kensey’s story was the perfect friends to lovers romance. I can’t wait to see more of them in future stories.

Friends to lovers.

Drew and Kensey. Best friends since high school. From completely different worlds. Drew came from wealth and celebrity and Kensey was the scholarship kid at the wealthy private school. But that never mattered to them. When Kensey moved to New Jersey to teach they kept in touch but Drew felt a void in his life and so did she. Now that she is back in LA for the summer they both realize their relationship is more than it was before. Loved their story and how it evolved. My only issue with the book was Edith. I did not like her at all.

I'm not normally a best friends to lovers reader, but, if Mr. Parker is going to write that trope, I'm going to read it!

I loved it, like always!

Get ready to become best friends with Drew and Kensey, and then hope for more for them!

But, they're thousands of miles apart and the new school year is approaching fast for Kensey. Uh oh!

Can they make something work?

Get ready to fall in love Again!

These Blackwell men are really adorable. They may have been ladies' men beforehand, but once they find the loves of their lives, they really fall. Like Drew falling for his best friend, Kensy. This story had some touching moments and some very steamy moments. Friends-to-lovers is always a fun trope to read. And you can see the way the two of them skirted their friendship first before even tackling a relationship.
Loved this story and can't wait to read more of the Blackwell brothers!

Kensey and Drew have been bff’s since they were teenagers. She went and became a teacher and moved to New Jersey and Drew stayed in LA to manage the family’s business. However Kensey is excited to come back home and spend the summer with family and friends. Soon, they reconnect and realized that their feelings for each other are changing. So, now they have to decide if they are willing to sacrifice their friendship for more. Great love story that leaves a warm fuzzyfeelings.

Great story - this is book 6 in The Billionaire Legacy Series staring Kensley and Drew. She shows up in the summer unexpectedly to spend the holidays with her parents and drops in on Drew at his work. They get along so well and while he’s discussing his next project he offers her a job to work for him. He doesn’t know of her giant crush but once she starts, seeing her each days, feelings sprout for him too. Great read.

This is book 6in the Billionaire Inheritance Legacy series and The LA Blackwell Brothers. We have Drew Blackwell who is running the Store but he needs an assistant ,when his best friend kelsey surprises him by being in LA for 3 months, but when sparks fly between them will it destroy them and their friendship?or will it be the push they'll need to be together? I throughly enjoyed this book and couldn't put it down and loved how they tried to fight fate but couldn't. Great Book in this series.

Another great addition to the Blackwell family. Drew and Kelsey have been friends for years but the feelings they have for each other go way deeper. They live on opposites sides of the country but when she comes home to visit her parents and does a little bit of work with Drew, these feelings become more intense. Great writing, wonderful characters, I love having all of the family in each book. It makes them so much better. Enjoy

Definitely another 4.8 star read of the Blackwell family series. Drew and Kensey were best friends growing up when Drew took her under his wing. Though there were differences in the family status, they both were comfortable with each other and their families. They lived on opposite sides of the country but communicated frequently. My interest was piqued almost immediately and continued through the fast moving plot. I would certainly recommend reading the bonus epilogue as well.

Unfortunately, this one just wasn’t for me. It felt more like a novella than a full length book. The story was very low conflict with minimal plot, suspense, or character growth, and the dialogue often felt a bit immature for adult characters. If you’re looking for a light, low stakes, feel good romance with very little drama, this may be exactly what you’re in the mood for. It just wasn’t the right fit for my reading preferences.

Drew-Kensey

There is nothing better than a romance built on a lifetime of trust, and this book delivered the absolute sweetest, most addictive journey to happily-ever-after.
I love the banter, the spice and of course the undeniable chemistry between the characters. I love to see characters from previous series and books woven in. Such an amazing read!
