Omg! What an amazing read!! I did not think it could get as good as book 1 but dang! Sydney did it once again! The suspense in this book really takes you on a ride and was so unputdownable! Cash opening up in this book and overcoming his past trauma just stole my heart! Him and Tyler’s love story was top notch and I just could not stop rooting for them! Such a swoon worthy but keeps you on the edge of your seat book!

What a journey! The suspense in this story was so intriguing and kept me turning the pages to see how it all played out. And the relationship between Cash and Tyler as they worked through their own trauma was beautiful. Such a great way to wrap up the duology!

I was waiting for this book after 8 Endless Seconds (Book 1) left me like 😯. You need to read 8 Endless Seconds first.

OMG! I started this book and loved it so much. Cash & Tyler were everything and more! Both of them have been dealing with grief and trying to heal in their own ways. Cash lost his fiancée and baby seven years ago, and ever since, he hasn’t been the same person. I can’t say too much because I’d spoil things from Book 1, but Cash has been taking care of Tyler and always being there for her. After a year of friendship and growing so close, they started developing feelings for each other.
Cash was conflicted about his feelings because he didn’t think he was allowed to feel that way again. He gave Tyler mixed signals and kept his walls up, but eventually, he opened his eyes, let those walls down, and gave in to what they both wanted.
They continue going to rodeos, and I loved Verge and Beau so much in this book! Both were amazing. I loved how protective Verge was of Shiloh, but also how protective he is of the friends and family he’s found along the way. And Beau? He’s the easygoing, funny guy, but don’t let that fool you. My heart broke for him, but what he did was incredible. The whole friend group was amazing, and I loved how supportive and protective they were of each other.
The suspense from the first book continues, and I thought it was so well done. Everything slowly started to make sense, and I loved that, despite all the secrets and everything happening around them, Cash and Tyler stayed by each other’s side. Once they started opening up, talking through things, and truly trusting each other, Tyler felt safe with Cash, and I loved seeing that. Their relationship was truly relationship goals. They could read each other so well, and I especially loved their communication. They were honest with each other, worked through things together, and created a safe space where they could both be vulnerable. I loved how much they supported each other throughout everything.
And when Cash is finally all in? You’re going to LOVE him. He doesn’t waste any more time because, after everything he’s been through, he knows you never know what tomorrow will bring.
The spice was good, but it was perfectly balanced with the storyline. I loved all their moments together. That snow scene?! And then dancing at the trailer? My heart! After all the pain, grief, and everything they went through, it was beautiful seeing how it all brought them together. They helped each other heal, and the love they found was everything.
Seeing Cash finally smile and be happy was EVERYTHING and more. And that epilogue?! AMAZING!

If Sydney writes it, I’m going to read it and love it! I was desperate to get my hands on Cash and Tyler’s story after the little sneak peek in 8 Endless Seconds, and it did not disappoint. I loved these two so much and their emotional journey. Seeing Cash finally open up and willing to find love again was everything. This one is romantic suspense (my favorite) with very high stakes! It will keep you on the edge of your seat and the twists are so good. Thank you so much Sydney for the arc! All opinions are my own.

Tyler and Cash’s story was absolutely beautiful 🥹

Tyler and Cash absolutely got me.
Both of them are carrying so much from their pasts, and I loved watching their relationship become this safe place neither of them really knew they needed. There’s something about two people who have been through it slowly realizing they don’t have to carry everything alone anymore that gets me EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.
Their connection felt tender, emotional, and earned. It wasn’t just about falling in love—it was about learning how to let someone in again, choosing to move forward, and realizing that maybe happiness can still exist after heartbreak. 🥺
And then Sydney said, “Oh, you thought this was just going to be emotional?” and threw in the SUSPENSE. 😂 The twists had me second-guessing everything, and there were definitely a few moments where I was like… EXCUSE ME?!
I also loved getting to see everything come together for the characters we’ve grown attached to throughout the series. It made this feel like such a bittersweet but satisfying ending.
Tyler + Cash were beautiful. The healing. The longing. The suspense. The found comfort in each other. UGH. 🤌🏼
And because I apparently enjoy making requests after finishing a series… I’m just saying, I would absolutely not complain about a Beau book. 👀😂

I really enjoyed this one! Give me a cowboy/cowgirl romance with suspense intertwined throughout and I am IN!
First things first, you definitely need to read 8 Endless Seconds before jumping into Every Second After. There is so much that carries over from book one, and you really need that backstory to fully understand everything happening in this one.
I loved the suspense Sydney brought into this story! There were multiple moments where I thought I knew where things were going and then NOPE. Some of the twists genuinely shocked me and kept me wanting to know what was going to happen next.
But Cash and Tyler were really the heart of this one for me. I loved watching Cash slowly allow himself to love again after experiencing such a huge loss, and I loved the patience Tyler showed him throughout that journey. She never tried to rush him, and watching their relationship develop through everything they were dealing with made me love them even more.
I don’t think this one quite topped 8 Endless Seconds for me, but I still loved it nonetheless! Such a good mix of romance, emotion, suspense, and twists.
At this point, anything Sydney writes, I will read. ❤️

This is the second book in this cowboy romance duet, and I highly recommend you read the first book, 8 Endless Seconds, before you jump into this one.
I really enjoyed the romantic suspense in this one! Especially the ending, it really kept me on my toes. The rodeo life vibes were definitely on point and I enjoyed this part of the storyline a lot. 🤠
The way MMC Cash swore to protect FMC Tyler was heartwarming but seeing how much guilt of his own he carried was so tough. He tried burying the guilt deep down, but his and Tyler’s connection continued to grow deeper, and it was impossible for them to ignore feelings they thought they shouldn’t have for each other. Cash was so caring and protective of Tyler and I truly loved seeing his softer side when he opened up his heart again. FMC Tyler kept dark secrets, but she had been through the toughest times and her strength was admirable. I enjoyed seeing these two learn to love again. This was a bit “insta-love” and overall a great story!
I loved their HEA! 💕

Every Second After was the perfect duet to 8 Endless Seconds.
It has the perfect mix of romance and suspense in it, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was on the edge of my seat more than half of the book.
All in all, the main characters got the happy ending that they deserved, and it was a perfect end for the series with the other side character also getting his perfect end.
I might be biased but I like the name of the side characters lady — and I can say it because it’s not mentioned at all until the end — but Mayzie is her name. (Cough cough, my name is Maycie ;))
Sydney, your cowboy romances have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the opportunity to ARC read them! <3

Sydney has done it AGAIN! I finally finished Every Second After and this one had me in my feelings!
I absolutely love Sydney’s writing because it feels so real and natural. You know how people say an author writes like they talk? That’s how I feel with Sydney, but even more than that, her writing just feels so in tune with the way we understand and read stories today. It’s easy to connect with, and I love that!
This story was BEAUTIFUL. I will say, the insta love was a little too much for me, but honestly, Cash and Tyler were the perfect match. I couldn’t picture either of them ending up with anyone else.
And the SUSPENSE?! So well done! There were so many moments that shocked me, but none of it felt like filler. Everything had a purpose, and every reveal landed exactly when it needed to.
I’m honestly so sad this story is over, but I HIGHLY recommend picking this duet up!

You don’t have to read Eight Endless Seconds to know what is going on because Sydney did an amazing job of seamlessly moving into the second book and reflecting back when it was needed.
Tyler is trying to navigate life with everything that is thrown at her. She has secrets that could hurt those close to her and that is the last thing she wants to do.
Cash hasn’t really opened up since he lost the love of his life in a car accident. There is something about Tyler that draws him in and he wants to be with her more and wants to know more.
Will the secrets that Tyler has ruin everything?
Sydney, I loved Every Second After and could not put it down. I cannot wait to read more books by you in the future!

I swear Sydney French could write a grocery list and I’d read it. 🤍
Every Second After completely pulled me in from the very first chapter and never let go. The chemistry? Off the charts. The emotions? Heart-melting. The small moments somehow hit just as hard as the big ones, and I found myself smiling one minute and completely emotional the next.
Sydney has a way of creating relationships you can’t stop rooting for, and stories that stay with you long after you turn the last page.
I thought I had this story figured out… and then THAT plot twist happened. I had to stop for a second because I absolutely did not see it coming.

I was nervous to start this one only because I was still processing what happened in book one 8 Endless Seconds (iykyk) but I was hooked from the start.
Tyler and Cash story is everything you can ask for. It has heartbreak, growth, healing, and twist I did not see coming. Even though Cash and Tyler both had to go through a lot of loss to finally find each other their story was so heartwarming. Getting to see them both let down their walls and learn to love again was beautiful.
Oh, and I did not expect the MMC Cash to be a “touch her and 💀” type of man but I loved it! The side character Beau pulled on my heartstrings to. I’m so glad everyone got the ending that was so deserved.
Tyler and Cash story is everything you can ask for. It has heartbreak, growth, healing, and twist I did not see coming. Even though Cash and Tyler both had to go through a lot of loss to finally find each other their story was so heartwarming. OMG! I do not know what kind of fairy dust Sydney puts in her books to suck her readers in so hard and fast, but I COULD NOT put this book down! I love Cash & Tyler so much. They are both so strong and independent and were there to save each other. Also, Verge, Shiloh, and Beau are amazing friends to Tyler and never hesitated to jump in head first to help her with her Leon situation.
Now we need a Beau book! I know we get a little snippet in the epilogue on Beau, but can we have a full book on him??? PLEASE?????

This is the second book after 8 endless seconds and this is more a romantic suspense than a cowboy romance. You do need to read book 1 before this - I did enjoy it but it felt very rushed at the end.

Every Second After is everything I hoped it would be and more. Sydney has done it again.
First things first: make sure you read 8 Endless Seconds before starting this one. Trust me-you’ll appreciate this story so much more.
This book has the perfect mix of suspense, romance, rodeo life, and emotional moments that completely pull you in. And that plot twist? I genuinely did not see it coming. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, Sydney proved me wrong.
I couldn’t put this book down. It took me about 2.5 days to finish, and honestly, if life and kids hadn’t gotten in the way, I would’ve devoured it in one sitting.

This book has the perfect mix of suspense, romance, rodeo life, and emotional moments that completely pull you in. And that plot twist? I genuinely did not see it coming. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, Sydney proved me wrong.
I couldn’t put this book down. It took me about 2.5 days to finish, and honestly, if life and kids hadn’t gotten in the way, I would’ve devoured it in one sitting.

I couldn't wait to jump into this one after loving 8 Endless Seconds so much, and I'm happy to say it definitely didn't disappoint.
After getting to know Cash and Tyler a little in the first book, I really enjoyed getting a much deeper look into both of their stories. The way their lives became intertwined is heartbreaking, but also really beautiful. Watching them help each other heal was easily one of my favorite parts of the book.
I also loved that the characters from the first book were still a big part of the story. It made coming back to this world feel so familiar, and I really enjoyed seeing everyone again. The danger and suspense woven throughout kept me turning the pages, and there were definitely a few moments that had me holding my breath.
And I have to give a special shoutout to Beau because he was such a fun side character! Every time he showed up, I couldn't help but smile.

The suspense added an extra layer to the romance and kept me invested from beginning to end. While there wasn’t a huge jaw-dropping twist for me, there was one surprise trope that I definitely wasn’t expecting. And if you’re a fan of the “touch her and die” trope, you’ll be happy to know we get some of those protective moments in this book!
One of my favorite parts was seeing all of the loose ends tied up. By the time I reached the final page, I felt like the story had answered the lingering questions and gave these characters the happy ending they truly deserved.
Overall, this was a solid ending to the series, and I’m glad I got to follow these characters on their journey. If you’ve read Eight Endless Seconds, I definitely recommend picking this one up to see how their story concludes!

The pieces fit perfectly each time until they didn’t. Every time I thought I had this story figured out the author threw another wrench in my idea! She left no suspenseful stone unturned when creating that major plot twist I definitely didn’t expect!
Two characters who think they are broken beyond repair finding their way. The emotional growth from both characters that happens for this relationship is so beautiful. I couldn’t have imagined their love story unfolding any other way!
I highly suggest reading book 1 (8 Endless Seconds) first so that you have full range of emotions going into this book!

For starters I thought 8 seconds was amazing, I have no idea how Sydney topped that book but she did in my eyes. I literally stayed up until 2AM binge reading this book because I could not put it down. I knew Tyler and Cash’s story was going to make me feel all the emotions. I cried like a baby and I’m not afraid to admit it. But when I tell you this book had me on the edge of my seat, so much whiplash and suspense!
So, I hate that they trauma bonded. Obviously it’s what helps make their love story so amazing but no one should have to endure loss like they both did. When Cross died he told Cash to look out for Tyler and Cash’s has every intention of keeping her safe. But will either of them be able to put their past behind them so they can move forward and have a happy future ?
Cash clearly is struggling with what he wants and what he feels he shouldn’t have. He ends up falling for Tyler but he holds back. He feels he doesn’t deserve to move on because Stella passed away with their baby. But once he opens up and starts to slowly let Tyler in, it’s so beautiful to watch him grow. He falls hard and fast and once he realizes, he will do anything and everything to keep her safe !
Tyler emotionally breaks my heart. She truly has nothing and is being blackmailed into trying to dig up information on the only people who truly love her. She struggles with telling the truth out of fear she will lose the only people who truly care about her.

The way my emotions were up and down throughout and the suspense had me suspecting any and every one made me not want to put this book down! This friend group is absolutely amazing and I loved how it was wrapped up so beautifully!

Tyler & Cash. These two were perfect for each other. What started as a friendship and helping each other through grief turned into a beautiful relationship. Cash is the epitome of a protector. He is watchful and he protects those he loves with everything he has. Tyler & Cash have both been through traumatic experiences that no one should ever go through, and those experiences shaped these two to be who they are as individuals and then as a couple. I loved seeing the whole family again and them supporting Tyler & Cash as they navigate their feelings for each other and the guilt that comes with that.
You must read book 1 before diving into this book.
